Naraku's Unworthy End

One day, Naraku sat in his room, trying to devise a new plan to destroy Inuyasha and co. He sat for hours and hours, unable to come up with something better than his last foiled attempt. Finally, he gave up.

While leaving, he yelled, "I'm going for a walk. Leave me ALONE!" (which was kind of pointless, I mean, who would come after him?)

Naraku decided to take a stroll around the forest surrounding his current castle. While he was walking, he came across a beautiful pond in a small clearing filled with beautiful animals. Deer and bunnies and squirrels! Lots and lots of squirrels! A gentle breeze toyed with the powerful youkai's long black tresses.

He lifted out his hand and on it landed a beautiful butterfly, pink and blue and gold. Naraku smiled at this.

Encouraged, the little butterfly called out to his friends to come see the kind youkai. The little butterflies, hearing their friends praise decided to come and join him. Naraku became overjoyed when he saw 3 more little butterflies land on his outstretched arm.

"TeeHee! Such cute wittle flutterbys!" he exclaimed as 4 more landed on his arm.

He decided to take a drink from the lake. As he walked toward it, the deer and bunnies and squirrels fled in fright, sensing the youkai's powerful aura. However, on his way, 10 more butterflies landed on him. This just made him giggle more as he took his drink.

When he rose from his drink, his whole arm was covered in butterflies. Also, unknown to him, butterflies from all across Japan had begun to swarm towards the "kind" youkai.

Naraku was so proud of the butterflies he had collected! I can't wait to tell Kagura and Kanna and Kohaku and Hakudoshi! He thought with pride, They're gonna be sooo jealous!

He then proceeded to skip around the clearing, humming a happy tune, with not a care in the world as he gradually amassed more and more butterflies.

After an hour, of this, he had both of his arms covered with butterflies, but he knew he had to leave.

"Goodbye pwetty flutterbies! I have to go home now but I promise to come back tomorrow!"

The butterflies left him to gather around the clearing and wait for him to come tomorrow, while the youkai left for home.

Unfortunately, he got lost and sat to cry for about another hour, before finally heading back in the right direction. However, he was late and missed supper, and became very cranky. After flipping out at Kagura for no particular reason, he became very tired, so he slept in the next day.

When Naraku woke up, he ran off to find the clearing with the butterflies. He got lost again, so didn't get there until almost sunset.

When he finally arrived in the clearing, it was filled with butterflies, who immediately latched onto him. In a matter of seconds, Naraku looked like nothing more than a giant pile of butterflies.

At first, it was a fun game, and Naraku giggled at the thought of being covered in butterflies, but soon, the flow of butterflies hadn't stopped, and it became hard for him to move.

"STOP! This isn't fun anymore!" he cried out, but to no avail. The butterflies continued to pile on the fearsome youkai.

Finally, Naraku remembered Wait a minute! I'm Naraku dammit! I'm one of the most fearsome youkai ever! These are just a bunch of stupid little butterflies! And so he decided to attack them.

He swiped at them with his tail, his fingers, everything he could! But, the butterflies kept coming. He put up a barrier, but, unfortunately, his barrier was designed to withstand the force of the tetsaigua, and as such overlooked the ability of weaker attacks. The butterflies just went right through it as if it wasn't there.

"NNNOOOOOOOO!" Naraku screamed as the mass of butterflies suffocated him.

Thus was the end of the fearsome Naraku.
