Gamelover4152: Thank you, and yeah there's gotta be some happiness for spider-man. If you just keep screwing him over then that's basically Daredevil.

Pyrojack25: SWARM WAS IN THAT?! That's the one Spider-Man show that I never really got into but still, holy crap. That's weird.

awesomereble55: Yeah, after fall, Spidey is Gunning for Fisk. He's crossed a line and enough is enough for him.

Maelstrom Resurrected: I'm doing a lot better now, and yeah it's upsetting with what happened to Penny but it's clear that it was intended to upset us. What's gonna be gut wrenching is Ruby finding out that Jaune was the one who had to kill her.

And yeah I actually checked, weird how there's no Invincible crossovers…..might have to fix that.

As for where RWBY is, given that they were in a place that could connect parts of the world, I think it might be closer to the idea of Yggdrasil, the World Tree from Norse mythology, mainly it's the large tree that makes me think that but from most pop culture I've seen the world tree isn't on some sort of tropical location. Wonderland could be but I don't think there's any imagery that fits in that story from the brief look we had. Neverland might be more on point.

It could also be that we're all overthinking this and they were basically dropped somewhere on remnant between Atlas and Vaccuo.

Guest 1: Oh yeah volume 8 is up there with my rankings for RWBY.

superjoeyf721: I mean it's owned by Time Warner, which also is WB and DC, so I wouldn't hold out hope for a crossover with the avengers. I'm just glad we got a big name crossover to begin with.

Guest 2: I had more than one reason to break them up. But when I say Normal, I mean that Peter has to go to regular school, get a job, do normal stuff like that. Yang, while the most normal out of team RWBY, is still an extraordinary person. She's literally working to save the world right now, that's not exactly normal like say the people in Mantle or something.

Like they have directly said that Beacon was to the world what the Xavier School for Gifted Students was. Or Hogwarts.

MJ on the other hand doesn't have any superhuman powers, no training, she's just living her life like Peter, AND knows who Peter really is.

And if you can't be completely honest with someone then your relationship is pretty much going to fail. Peter couldn't tell Yang who he really is and so they broke up because of it.

Plus I felt like it was a good way to show how Spider-Man can get in the way of Peter's love life. I mean it's meant to be the reason they break up, and I'll fully admit I had a hard time writing it because I didn't want to but I felt like it was going to just lead to this point later down the line.

Spider-Man Fan: Thanks and yes I'm doing much better.

I'm sorry for causing any confusion, but let me try and be clearer, when I say the whole A C and B metaphor, I say that because it's simple and it tries to get the point across. But when I started this story my first thought was that it's Spider-Man in RWBY. Now when I say he won't be BIG in their story, I mean he's not going to drastically alter the events as they play out, I mean I don't see how having Spidey there could say, make it so that Atlas doesn't fall.

Obviously having him present would and could change some things, but only to a certain extent as Spidey can only do so much. Does that make sense?

As for Pyrrha and Ozpin, I saw it as Peter seeing basically what happened to him happen to someone else and knowing what it entails, is totally against it. But unlike with him, Ozpin is there offering it to Pyrrha instead of a random accident that gave him his powers. For example, in Spider-Girl, a conflict of the story is actually between Mayday and Peter, who is wholly against her being Spider-Girl because he knows what that life entails for her and doesn't want his daughter risking her life.

And obviously my opinion does come into play which is this: What Ozpin has done has been shitty, he's lied for hundreds of years to people willing to give their lives. He's not a bad person, he ultimately wants to do good but how he's gone about getting to that point is wrong. And he approached a young girl with an offer that wouldn't just change her entire life, but possibly who she was as a person, she even brings it up in her talk with Jaune.

He has no right to put that on a kid's shoulders.

Now obviously that is just my opinion on the matter, it's admittedly a strong one but I can also understand why Ozpin wouldn't tell the whole truth for centuries and why he would approach Pyrrha with the maiden power. Like Glynda (I think) points out, letting people learn about all this would just be chaotic, and we see that happen with Atlas so he's not wrong about keeping it secret from the general public.

His own people on the other hand? That's still debatable, ultimately I think it's a person by person basis.

As for Pyrrha, given what Cinder has done with the full maiden powers? I can see why he would want someone on his side to gain the power. There was probably a much better way of going about it but I still get it. But at the same time he already has the Winter Maiden in Atlas waiting in the wings so to speak.

And I have changed the way I approach this story, looking back it's clear to see that. And I don't know how or why, I mean back in the day I didn't even really plan things out for my fics and I just went with what I thought at the time. But it's also that the story itself has changed, I mean Peter's not in high school anymore obviously, RWBY is temporarily broken up, things have changed in the story.

And it's clear that breaking up Yang and Peter is what caused some discourse amongst readers but I can't just go back and change what happened. And honestly I'm just tired of saying why I broke them up every other chapter because it's frustrating, IT'S REALLY GODDAMN FURSTRATING. To the point where it makes me not want to even write because I know that someone is going to bring it up.

Sorry Spider-Man Fan that's more me venting than a response, you raise some good points but truth be told I'm mainly just writing this for fun as opposed to be telling a intricate story. And I want to get back to doing just that, writing a fun story for funs' sake.

Guest 3: Well I wanted to introduce the punisher and I thought it'd be neat to see him interact with RNJR first instead of Spidey so that way there's a fun dynamic when they eventually meet up.

It's more of an experimental chapter to see if people wanted more of it or thought it was neat. Like because Spider-Man is in RWBY there's some ripple effects, like Merlot is I think a great example, Spidey being around gives him a different sort of goal then what he originally thought of for his experiments. Making cross species instead of experimenting on Grimm. Or how there are supervillains like Tarantula around, it' not directly because Spider-Man made him but because he's there, it allows for there to be ripple effects to the world, narratively speaking I mean.

Being back on Patch after little over a week of living in Vale was…..odd for Peter. Obviously the small island would always be home for him but he also had a place of his own now…..well half his with Harry being his roommate. Still nice to swing through the old neighborhood. Peter thought as he pulled back on a webline, a web sack on his back containing his clothes as he zipped over a treeline. He had met Aunt May for breakfast this morning in Vale.

He could tell that she was a little worried about him, asking how things were going with the apartment, asking if he was good on food or needed any money for rent. But he had assured her that there was no reason to worry. After making sure he was alright she told him that Yang had stopped by the other day and was asking where he was and why was there was a sign saying boarding house in front of the Parker residence. I could have sworn I told her. I mean I saw her like two weeks before I moved out! Peter chastised himself as he slung a webline out to swing through the trees from.

But then again those weeks were busy, between getting ready to move out and securing more and more of Vale? He hardly had any time at home. He had seen Yang of course but it was just briefly, they hadn't had much a chance to really talk for a while now.

The Xiao Long/Rose residence was, as Peter would refer to it, out in the sticks of Patch. It was somewhat isolated and secluded with the closest neighbor being ten minutes away on foot. The lack of city noise out here was always noticed by Peter, along with the lack of skyscrapers, I'd drop by to visit more if it was easier to swing out- he shot a web to a branch but as soon as it held his weight it snapped! -HERE! he was heading straight for a tree trunk.

His hands flew up and caught himself on the side and flipped off onto another tree beside it feet first, which he sprung off where he made sure to shoot a web to a more structurally sound part of the next tree. "This is why I hate webswinging outside the cities, things don't just break in the Kingdom! Not like branches. They always break." he thought as he flung himself off the webline and onto a thicker branch. "…ok that doesn't help my argument." he thought as he leapt off and towards the clearing where the Rose/Xiao Long residence was located.

Slipping the web bag off his shoulders he tore it open and reached inside for his clothes.

"BARK BARK BARK!" Peter nearly jumped before he looked down on the ground to see the resident Corgi Zwei at the base of the tree, looking up at him with his tongue hanging out and his tail wagging in excitement.

"Noooo!" He whispered, he flung his hand out, "Go on boy! Shoo! I gotta change here!" he ushered quietly.

"BARK!"

"Zwei? What is it buddy?" Peter heard Tai's voice from the back of the house.

Crap. Peter simply thought before leaping back into the forest, pulling his shirt on over his head as he leapt through the air. As Tai walked around the house to investigate his dog.

Finding Zwei at the base of his tree, the father rolled his eyes, "Ugh, dog. Squirrels aren't going to come back down with you waiting for them." he said with annoyance as he pintched the bridge of his nose. Zwei turned around to his owner, tilted his head and then turned back towards the road leading towards the house where Tai saw Peter walkup. "Hey Peter!" he said welcomingly with a wave as Zwei ran up to the secret vigilante.

Kneeling down he petted the dog, "Hey Tai. Yang around?" he asked as he rubbed the corgi between the ears.

The father's smile faltered for a moment before looking towards the house, "Yeah, she's inside." he quickly brought his welcoming demeanor back however, "So what brings you here from Vale?" he asked with his arms crossing over his chest.

"Funny thing, apparently no one told Yang that I was moving out. May told me she came by and wondered why there's now an old couple in my bedroom." he said before standing up. "But I felt the need to drop by, is that ok? I'm not interrupting anything am I?" he asked with concern. Yang's injury since Beacon had been hard on her, and it didn't help that Blake was missing. In fact that seemed to hurt her more than her now missing right arm.

Tai shook his head, "Nah, I'm just working on the garden out back. She's inside." he said, patting his hip to get Zwei's attention. The small dog bared at Peter as though he was saying goodbye before trotting after Tai. Peter walked up to the house's front door and entered, sitting in the living room on the couch was Yang.

She wore her hair back in a ponytail, something Peter wasn't sure if he'd ever seen, with a pair of cargo pants on her feet, a old grey jacket with a knot tied off at where her arm had been cut off, and a orange top underneath, she turned to him with a bored look which quickly morphed into surprise, "So I heard you missed the memo about me getting kicked out." he said jokingly as he walked in.

Yang dryly chuckled, "So May got sick of you?" she asked.

He shook his head, "Nah but….it felt like it was time." he replied as he walked across the room, Yang moving over to make room for him on the couch. "So, what's new?" he asked.

The blonde looked around the room and shrugged her shoulders almost in defeat, "Nothing." she simply replied, "I stopped by because…eh it's stupid." she shook her head.

Peter sat up, "What?" he inquired, "Yang, it's fine. What's up?" he asked with concern.

She let out a long sigh, "I was…..I just wanted to….talk with someone. Figured I could hang out with you but…." she shook her head.

Peter felt a lump form in his stomach, without Scrolls to call or text, the only talks he had with Yang was when they visited each other, which was few and far between. Especially given how busy Peter had been lately, "Oh Yang…..I'm sorry I….I should have told you-" he began.

"Would have been nice." she replied back with a bitter tone, a pang of guilt echoing through Peter. She closed her eyes and shook her head, opening back up she gave him a softer look, "I'm sorry that….that wasn't called for." she admitted. She leaned back in her seat, looking like she had gotten the wind knocked out of her sails.

Peter shook his head, "No, your fine….hey, do you want to drop by my place tonight?" he invited. Yang sat up and looked at him questionably, "Harry's working late tonight so me and MJ were just gonna watch some Documentaries tonight. More the marrier." he invited, Yang raising an eye at that sentence.

"Mary Jane…and you…..watching Documentaries?" she asked.

"That's right. Yes." Peter replied with a smirk.

Yang's facial expression however was more stunned, "And…..your not bribing her with something to do that?" she asked, a smile tugging at her lips.

Peter's smirk vanished, "I watched the Real Housewives of Atlas with her so she agreed to try this…also girls are MUCH meaner than I thought they were." he added teasingly. Yang rolled her eyes as Peter smiled at her, the blonde was on the verge of a smirk when she finally nodded, "Sweet, I get to show off my new apartment to someone who doesn't have a ton of money and could buy a much better one." he said cheekily.

Yang tittered a little before it vanished, "How is Harry doing? With his dad and all?" she asked. Peter's smile faltered and replaced with a solemn look, Yang sighed, "Right. Dumb question….sorry."

Peter put a hand on her shoulder, "Not at all." he denied, Yang looked at him out the corner of her eye and saw him giving her a concerned look that she was all too used to now from everyone. "Are you…..doing ok?" he asked

She lifted her single arm and flexed it, "Good as I can be. I'm not going to be fighting Grimm or anything but from what I hear, it shouldn't be a problem in Vale." she said.

Peter rubbed his arm, "I actually didn't mean the arm." he said lowly.

She looked down, but her lilac eyes looked out the corner to his, for a brief second he swore he saw her eyes begin to change to red, "…..I'm fine." she replied somewhat coldly. She saw the way Peter was staring at her and turned, "Seriously…..I know I….I'm still hurt by what happened but…..it's better now. I mean it still…..sucks but-" she tried to explain.

He nodded, "No I….I get it. Was the same way with Ben." he said.

Yang pursed her lips together as a question formed in her throat, "Can I ask you something?" she asked tentatively. Peter was about to give a snarky remark about her already asking one, but when he saw the seriousness in her eyes he settled on nodding. "They guy….the one who….killed your uncle? How did you feel when he was caught?" she asked.

That was a loaded question to say the least.

Leaning back on the couch he took a deep breath through his mouth, "Well…when I heard I just….I wanted him to be hurt…..I….I wanted to kill him." he admitted. He saw Yang's eyes widen at the admission from Peter Parker of all people. The guy who wouldn't raise a hand to someone who clearly deserved a smack to the head, "I was…..I was just so enraged…..I thought about what I'd do if I'd get my hands on him and-" and when I did…..I saw what a huge mistake I've made. he thought. "-and…..when I heard he was caught I was just…relieved? I guess is the best way to put it." he explained.

Mary Jane was the only one who truly knew what happened the night his Uncle Ben died aside from him. He still remembered the look of horror on her face when he told her the whole truth, and for a brief moment he thought she might be repulsed by what he'd done. Instead he was met with understanding and support, but that was because MJ knew what it was like to hide a part of herself from everyone else.

Yang however seemed more surprised by his response, "Really?" she asked.

"I mean…if I saw him I wouldn't try and strangle him or anything." he explained, he had already taken his anger out on the bugler when he caught him at the warehouse. He was honestly surprised he didn't kill him on accident with his strength, but that was right after he had gotten his powers, they were still developing then and he wasn't as strong as he was now. "But…." his jaw tightened, "...I'll never forgive him…..I get he might have a reason but I….I don't care. He killed the man who…..who was my dad."

He felt the corner of his eye water and wiped it away, "Peter….I'm sorry, I didn't-" Yang began, the blonde feeling awful for dragging up the memories for Peter just so she could try and help herself.

But the young man shook his head, "Don't be, I get it….." he replied understandingly. Yang still looked remorseful for her question. "…do you think you'd feel better if…..he was put away?" he asked.

Yang's throat tightened as she took a shallow breath, her hand twitched anxiously at the name but with a calming breath which her father instructed her on, she calmed down. "Maybe? I don't know…..I mean if he never showed his face again that'd be great but…..if I saw him I'd…." she looked down at her hand that was trembling. "I…..I couldn't do anything…." she said sadly.

Peter pursed his lips together, he wished he could do something to help Yang move forward. It's not just a missing limb, she lost…..man she's lost a lot. he thought sadly.

"Have you heard anything? About the White Fang I mean?" she asked. The group of faunus had become a priority after the Fall, there had been some camps outside the kingdoms that had been raided but no sign of Adam. But there were still some rumors of a few cells in Vale.

But with reclaiming the rest of Vale still a priority, finding the White Fang had taken a backseat, Especially since Spider-Man is public Enemy number one. he thought bitterly. "No….nothing yet anyway." he answered, making Yang's head lower in disappointment. He knew firsthand how it felt to have someone who hurt you running free, Norman was still out in the world somewhere and could strike at him or his loved ones anytime he wanted. I'd feel a lot better if Norman was behind bars…and maybe Yang would too. he realized. Not to mention nailing Adam could give me and DeWolf a link to Fisk.

Mary Jane's work hadn't exactly been a priority when the Kingdom was opening up businesses after the city was cleared. But thankfully they were now open for business again, and with a rent to pay it couldn't have happened sooner. It started as any other day with her going to her work station to help design a new suit or dress when she was called into her manager's office, for a brief second she was afraid that she might be being let go like a few of the other employees. However it turned out to not be the case, "You want me to model? Now?" she asked, admittedly a little dumbfounded by her boss.

Robert Kingsley was an icon in the world of modeling, he had come from Minstrel's lower city and rose to stardom with a number of clothing lines he developed. However for some reason he moved from the artisan's capitol of the world in Minstrel to Vale, "I'm sorry it's just…with everything that's going on I can't imagine us holding a show." she explained.

Kingsley, a man with bleached blonde hair that was slicked back, leaned back in his chair, "I understand Mary Jane, after what happened it might feel…..strange to be doing this now." he admitted, reaching over and adjusting the cuff of his white suit, "However with some of our usual models leaving Vale, we have some open spots. And I know that you wanted to model for us when you first joined up with us." he said knowingly.

MJ's lip twitched at his answer, So because no one else is around they want me to fill in….wow. That's a dick way of putting it. she thought sourly. "Well, when's the shoot?" she asked in a more inquisitive tone, making sure not to let her irritation bleed in.

"Two weeks from now, enough time to make some adjustments." he said as he reached into his desk drawer and pulled out a folder, "Here's some of the pieces we have, look over them and give me your thoughts." he said as he handed her the folder. She nodded and smiled thankfully before leaving the office, allowing her smile to drop.

Oh yeah we need a model because everyone else left to be with their families, here Mary Jane we'll throw you a bone. the thought in frustration as she walked back towards the elevator to take her to her floor where she worked to grab her bag. She had a two hour lunch break and she needed to cool off.

While she wanted to be modeling since it had been over year since she did her last show, she wanted them to want her to do it, not need her to.

Stepping out onto her floor she walked to her work station by the window and saw that there was a small note left on the mannequin she used to put her clothing together on with a web sticking it to the arm of the dummy. Smiling to herself she walked over and plucked it off the dummy and unfolded it. 'Lunch?' it read.

Minutes later she walked out onto the rooftop of her work and found her boyfriend sitting on the edge, toying with his webshooter on his wrist. Looking up at her he lifted his mask to smile, "Hey gorgeous, meeting someone?" he asked, MJ smirking as she sauntered over to him.

"Yeah I was meeting my boyfriend up here but I don't mind ditching him for you Spidey." she flirted back as he stood up to kiss her. His hands wrapped around her and embraced her as they pulled back from their kiss, "So. Lunch?" she asked, Peter smiled at her before gesturing over the ledge, looking down she saw he had spun a large net of webbing that was sturdy enough to uphold a blanket and basket between the corners of her building, giving them a private little outcropping.

Wrapping her arms around his neck, he dropped them both down onto the webbing and set MJ down onto the blanket, "Tiger you didn't need to do all this." she said as she sat down cross-legged on the unfolded blanket with Peter crouching down beside her, taking off his mask so she could fully see the prideful look he had.

He shrugged, "It's no problem. If only I could have made it bigger." he said with a hint of sheepishness, there was enough room for them both to sit side by side in but it was a little cramped.

MJ's eyes flashed with recognition, "Hmmm. I have an idea for that." she said understandingly as she shifted herself into Peter's lap so she was draped across him with enough room for each of them to eat. "There we go." she said playfully, looking to Peter and expecting to see him blush a little, only to be surprised when she saw a small smirk tug at his lips. "Ah, finally using that big brain of yours." she replied as she leaned her side against him.

"I don't know what your talking about." he fibbed as he grabbed the basket and took out a pair of subs. Handing MJ her's, she smiled gratefully before they started eating, "So, how's your day going?" he asked.

MJ swallowed her bite before answering, "Well, I got a modeling gig because everyone else quit." she said in frustration.

Peter stopped just before he took a bite of his food, "Oh…um…..sorry?" he said unsurely, MJ gave him a look, "I mean I thought you wanted to model." he explained.

She sighed, "I do, and I'm happy I'm finally going to again, but I want it to be because they want me to do it. Not because I'm the only one around." she explained.

She felt Peter's hand rub her back, "Hey, if they don't see you as someone people would be dying to have on their front page magazine? Then something is clearly wrong with them." he praised, making her smile.

"Thanks Tiger…..honestly though it just feels like Modeling right now would be…..in poor taste. Considering." she said, looking up in the distance to where Beacon was. The dragon that emerged from Mount Glenn was still on the side of the tower and could be seen by everyone. A constant reminder of what had happened, "I just…..it feels wrong. What's me being photographed going to do to help people?" she asked him.

Peter swallowed the bite he took and thought for a moment, "I can get that…..I mean if you feel like you could do more, you could always Volunteer at FEAST." he offered.

MJ didn't seem too sure, "I already do that, but I mean….I want to help people….I want to make an impact….maybe I should look back into acting?" she asked unsurely. She saw the interested look Peter gave and smiled, "You ever hear about this little village outside Minstrel called Chelsey?" she asked. He shook his head, "Ok so it's pretty far from the kingdom, so Huntsmen and Huntresses don't frequent the area so they're at real risk for Grimm. But because the CCT was up back then, they still had broadcasts from the Kingdom. So one night, the whole town gets together and has a drive in at the town square." she explained.

"They had cars?" he asked.

She held up a hand, "Sssshhh I'm telling a story here. Now where was I? Right, so they tap into the CCT and watch that old Action Movie about that superhero? The one who can fly and is super strong? Unvincible or something, anyway, everyone has a blast. And it was a good thing too because there was a gigantic horde of Grimm coming their way." she explained, making her boyfriend's eyes widen. "But because everyone was happy and having fun, all those positive emotions made them stay away."

Peter chuckled, "So you want to be an actress so that people can be happy and entertained….that's super cool MJ." he praised.

She beamed at him, "Right!? I always thought that! I mean I'm not like Ruby or Blake or you, I can't fight off a Grimm horde with my bare hands but….I can help people that way." she suddenly tittered, "Guess you're kind of rubbing off on me."

Peter smiled, "Well if that's the case, I kind of invited Yang over to hang with us tonight, is that ok?"

MJ nearly choked, "What? Peter-!" she began.

"I know! I'm sorry! I should have asked you before saying anything but….." he apologized, pausing as he remembered just how defeated Yang looked. MJ noticed the silence and the solemn expression he had. "….she looked like she needed to not be alone for a change." he said sadly.

Suddenly whatever complaint MJ had died, letting out a breath she folded her arms, "Ok fine. But your not off the hook!" she said, pointing at him. "You got to help me practice my lines when I get a part." she decided.

She expected him to be displeased, him bargaining how many times she would ask him to do so, which she was going to settle on 5, but she was thrown for a bit of a loop when he looked her with a raised brow, "Really? Ok, sure. I don't mind."

MJ guffawed at his reply, I mean he dresses up in a costume and makes jokes to bad guys. Is that really that far off from acting? "Alright then….besides it's been too long since I've seen Yang. We need some girl talk." she said happily, more than excited to see the blonde brawler again.

Peter however didn't seem as excited, "She's...I think she needs people to talk to." MJ turned at him with a worried look, "She was asking me today about if she might feel better if Adam was put away." he explained.

He could feel MJ stiffen in his lap, "You think it would help?" she asked.

"I think the police are so busy chasing me that I should at least try and do something about it." he said bitterly. "Plus if I find Adam I could get some answers out of him, and some payback for what he did to Yang." he replied angrily.

"Peter…." he saw the worried look MJ had, but it was now directed at him, it felt like six months ago when Norman was targeting him directly.

"He hurt Yang, and he's after Blake. If I can put him out of commission? Then maybe….." he stopped himself. It wouldn't just magically fix things, Blake wouldn't be back here and Yang's arm would still be gone.

Her hand cupped his cheek, "You care about your friends Pete, and I love that about you. But he hurt Yang pretty bad and…I don't want him to do the same to you." she explained out of concern as her thumb traced over his skin.

He clasped his hands over her's, "Hey, I've gone up against worse then some guy who spent his allowance at Edgelord outlet." he replied jokingly, recalling the picture of Adam that was circulated at the Bugle when they were looking for him. MJ however wasn't amused, "Look, I'll be careful, promise." he said, pulling her hand away and holding it in his own.

MJ let out a sigh, knowing that she couldn't talk Peter out of it, Adam was a problem and if he could lead to Fisk then it's all the better. "Alright. Fine." she accepted, Peter smiling before kissing her hand tenderly before returning to eating.

After finishing his lunch with MJ, Peter swung off to the Bugle, it was the best place to start his investigation into the White Fang presence in Vale. Approaching Ben Urich was obviously where he should start, "They've been quiet for the most part, but last time I talked to one of my guys, he told me that there was at least one or two cells still left in Vale. Don't know what they might be doing though." he told Peter.

After which Peter changed back into his costume and swung out to the Faunus Quarter of Vale by the water, which in turn led him to a small arms dealer whom he had escaped from Jail during the Fall and who had in fact sold a large quantity of weapons to a old buyer. After dangling him off the side of a building and leaving him for the police, Peter now had the remaining White Fang's location. A old theatre in the Faunus Quarter that was used as a hideout even before the Fall of Beacon.

Usually I'd call DeWolf and drop a tip her way so she could have the cavalry cut off these guy's exit. But with Fisk's D.A. friend, he's been feeding whatever he gets back to Fisk. He could warn them and they'd be long gone before the cops arrived. Peter thought as he cast a web out and fly up the front of the theater and leapt onto the roof. With no visible entrances into the building, he walked over to the ventelation system and tore off the cover with ease before slipping inside.

"Ok here's hoping I get this done fast so I can meet with MJ and Yang." he said as he crawled through the vents, Huh, this reminds me of my first time meeting Weiss. Let's just hope there's no Mysterio, actually make that no Chameleon. he thought as he reached a vent in the ceiling.

"I don't care how long you've been looking! Your going to find her!" an angry voice called out. Sticking his hand to the cover he pulled it off as quietly as he could before slipping out onto the ceiling. The theatre seating was completely uprooted in order to make space for a base of operations. Computers, weapons, and maps were spread acoss folding tables with cots lined up on the stage. However the stage was currently occupied by a young man in a black pullover and matching pants, he had bright red hair that was slicked pack with a pair of dark horns reaching back through his locks. His eyes were covered by a Grimm mask that was overlooking his subordinates with displeasre as they were standing out in front of him on the theatre's gallery at attention.

"Sir, we've been combing Vale for months now, and we haven't found any sign of the traitor." one of his subordinates said as Spider-Man crawled along the ceiling.

Traitor? They're looking for Blake?! Wait….is that why…..oh man. Peter realized his his lenses widened in realization, Blake had left to make sure Adam didn't come after her team. His sight focused on the group of six Faunus in front of him, Ok I haven't had much of a chance to test this out but I gotta take down Adam fast and I can't deal with his cronies. he said as he pulled up his glove and took two small capsules from hi belt and carefully attached them the sides of his new Web Shooter.

By mixing fire and ice dust, he found that he could wrap cold webbing around a hot core with the dust and create an explosion of webbing from it. He called it a Web Bomb….and it was still in testing. Well this is my field test. Here's hoping it works and doesn't just blow up in my face….again. he thought as he aimed his wrist down behind the White Fang soldiers.

Adam shook his head in frustration, "Fine. Then take your search to Menagerie. Her parents live there, if there's anywhere she'd run off to it's there." he growled out before something shot down behind them and exploded! The force of the small explosion flung the White Fang members into the ide of the stage with webbing covering them and sticking them in place. "What?! Who-" Adam began before a red foot swung kicked him in his face.

"Hey look at that it worked! Oh what? Were you saying something before? Sorry I sorta nodded off." Spider-Man mocked as Adam hit one of the tables and rolled across it, scattering the weapons that were on it to the ground as he quickly grasped his weapon. Peter's Spider Sense rang down his spine and he twirled his body to the side to avoid a slash that cut through the stage and nearly took the head off one of Adam's people! "Jeeze if that's how you treat your friends no wonder your girlfriend dumped you." he mocked as he leapt away from the stage, shooting a webline to swing from.

Adam let out a growl, "Shut up!" he yelled before launching himself at the wall crawler as he swung his blade from his sheathe, Spider-Man pulling himself up over Adam's head and swinging himself around so that his legs locked around his neck from behind. He slammed his elbow down onto the leader's head, dazing him as Spider-man flung him through a few of the seats with a leg throw.

Adam picked himself up as the wall crawler suspended himself from the ceiling with a strand of webbing, his spider sense was the only waring before he dropped from the line as Adam rushed forward and sliced through the air where he was a second ago, Man without Spider Sense I'd be dead already! Guy moves fast! he thought as he ducked under another slash, countering with a jab to Adam's chest the leader went flying back before Spider-Man shot a webline into his chest and spun him around into one of the supporting pullers, breaking it apart.

Adam stood up from the ruble, the bits of the column sliding off him as he wobbled onto his feet, this was bad matchup for him, his semblance was designed so that his weapon could absorb hits and redirect them back but he hadn't gotten any energy built up! He had heard from some of his White Fang Brethren that fighting Spider-Man was like fighting a whole team of Huntsmen, and now he knew why. He couldn't take him, not here, not caught off guard like this!

A pair of weblines shot past him, he readied his sword to strike at the incoming Spider, only to have a chair crash into his back! "You are….good at this fighting thing right?" Spider-Man mocked.

Adam turned to him, glaring daggers through his mask, "Why are you even here?! We did nothing to you!" he said in outrage.

The eyes of the mask silted at him, "Actually you did, you hurt one of my friends you dickhead." he said before lunging at Adam. The Faunus fired off his shotgun, but it was too early, Spider-Man was on him his fist cracking across his jaw with the other quickly following up. "You hurt her to try and hurt someone who left you! What you think that just because you broke up with someone it means your entitled to something?!" he asked as his fist struck the side of head, "God you guys make me sick! I come across someone roughing up an ex maybe a couple times a month, always gets me mad. But you? Your pathetic!"

Adam slashed again and missed, again, Spider-Man's knuckles hit him again, this time his aura broke. Adam stumbled, catching his balde against the floor before swiping up at the vigilante, just barely missing and cutting his costume's front. "She left me! After all I did for her! She belongs to me!" he raged.

Peter felt his jaw tighten, his fist smashed into Adam's face, breaking his mask and making the faunus fall back onto the stage, as he tried to pick himself up, Spider-Man stood over him readily, his hands still balled into fists. Adam turned over and looked up at the wall crawler with a enraged look, and there was a pause.

Across Adam's left eye was a brand, one that was clearly old and been there for most of his life, it had the letter SDC in a bracket. "I. Deserve. Her!" he growled out.

"…..you think that scar makes me feel bad for you?" Peter asked in disgust, "I'm sorry that happened to you pal, but just because something bad happened to you doesn't give you and excuse to be a piece of slime!" Spider-Man growled out as he grabbed Adam by the scuff of his shirt and hoisted him up, "That scar isn't some excuse to see your ex-hell! Anyone as a thing you little-!" he continued before his Spider Sense blared in his skull.

He dropped adam and jumped as his shotgn went off, the bullets hitting the crates of red dust stacked by one of the pillars that Peter saw in the reflection of his eyes. "Aw nuts."

KABOOOM!

"Ok this place isn't half bad." Yang admitted as she walked into Peter and Harry's apartment, MJ unlocking the door for them with a key that Peter left for her. "Is it wrong that I expected a mess? I mean I know Peter isn't a messy guy but…..well two guys living together?" she asked.

"Hey if I recall correctly you had bunkbeds being held up by ropes and books." Mj replied, the blonde smirking a little and nodding in acquiesce, "Guess Pete is running late. Aw well, we can start without him." MJ shrugged, walking into the kitchen area to grab a bag of chips and some sodas from the fridge.

Walking back into the living room, Yang gave her a grateful smile as she took the drink, "Thanks MJ. Sorry again for ruining your guys' date night. If I'd known you guys wanted to be alone together-" she started before MJ raised a hand and a shake of her head while Yang set the can in her lap so she could open it.

"Please, it's no big deal. If anything I should thank you, you got me to rope Tiger into rehearsing lines with me." she said, making the blonde smile in amusement. "Besides, I miss hanging out with you." she added somberly, the blonde brawler looked down a little sadly. Mary Jane watched as the powerhouse of team RWBY took a breath, "You know that if you ever want to hang out, I'm a phone call away."

Yang looked up to her and gave her a welcoming smile, "Thanks Mary Jane….I do…it's just…." she glanced down at her missing limb, "There's a lot on my mind." she admitted. Mary Jane turned to face her on the couch, giving her undivided attention, Yang recognized the gesture for her to go on, "It's…..ok I didn't mention this to Peter but last week, General Ironwood sent me a prosthetic in the mail." she explained, her friend's eyes widening at the news.

"That's…unexpected." she replied, shaking her head, "I mean good! Right?"

Yang snorted and shook her head, "No it is….I really…..well after….what happened, I never really thought of…getting back into it. I mean I had to get used to this," she gestured to the phantom limb, "And when I finally felt comfortable about it? Well I sort of just…..didn't think past it."

MJ nodded, "That's understandable, I mean that's a big adjustment, I don't blame you for not wanting to get back into the fight right away." she said considerately.

Yang nodded, "Yeah…..but…..Ruby is out there." she responded sadly, "She's going to Haven to try and get justice for….everything that happened." she said, a brief smile of pride crossing her features as she thought of her sister. "And I'm just….here." she said, taking a sip of her drink.

MJ shook her head, "There's nothing wrong with that, I mean we both know Ruby wouldn't hold that against you." she pointed out, "You've been recovering, if Ironwood, all the way in Atlas, is expecting you to be ready to fight? He can march his ass out here and tell you to your face." she replied sternly. The blonde snorted, "You're concerned for your sister, I can understand that…..I was worried about mine and my mom for….god, the longest time." she said lowly before looking back into Yang's eyes, "But Ruby isn't alone, and she doesn't hold anything against you, no one does."

The blonde let out a breath, "I know…still…..I can't help but worry some days."

The redhead shrugged, "Who wouldn't? Peter…..he actually feels bad that he didn't do more to help her." she admitted.

Yang's eyes rolled in amusement, "Oh wow. What a surprise." she teased, making MJ chuckle, "I'm touched, don't get me wrong, but….he's got a big heart, sometimes I wonder if it's too big." she said before taking another drink.

MJ chuckled, "Yeah…..but I love that about him." she admitted with a soft expression.

Yang choked on her drink, setting it down on the coffee table she hit herself in the chest, "I'm-I'm sorry, *cough*, what?" she asked in bafflement. MJ covered her mouth to muffle her laugh, "You…..you love Peter? With an L? A capital 'L'?" she asked, making sure that what she heard wasn't some figment of her imagination.

"Capital L,O,V,E. Yeah." MJ admitted, a warm feeling beating in her chest at saying out loud to someone else. She looked down at the space between them, "During the Fall….I told him I did, and then it was over, and I felt like I ruined everything by saying it and told him that it was alright he didn't say it back-"

"He didn't say it back!?" Yang yelped in shock.

"He told me a few days ago." she revealed.

"Oh my god-I'm gonna kick his ass." Yang said in frustration.

"It's fiiiine." MJ dismissed.

Yang let out a breath, Peter was off the hook this time, and to be fair that wasn't the best of timing on MJ's part but still! It was months ago! "So…..what's it like?" she asked, "Being in love I mean." she clarified.

MJ paused as she considered the question, "It's like….you ever have a long day? It sucks and you just want it to be over? But then you realize that there's someone waiting for you at home that makes it all worth it." she said, smiling as she thought of when Peter would drop by her place on his patrols around the Kingdom just so they could talk. "Peter once told me something like that once, saying that it's like strength but I didn't really think of it as that." she said, Yang turning away from her as she continued. She smiled, "And when we're together…..it brightens my day, it makes me relax, I'm able to just…..be with him. If that-" she said before stopping herself.

Yang had tears in her eyes, "Oh….oh god Yang I'm sorry-" she began, the blonde looking at her and quickly realizing why she was apologizing.

"No it's…..god I'm sorry it's…." her hand wiped away the tears and quickly ran up into her hair, clutching at it in frustration.

MJ felt her chest tighten a little at her reaction, "Yang…do you…..do you still have feelings for Peter?" she asked in small worried voice, realizing she might have hurt her with all she said. It wasn't that she would hate her if she did, but if that was the case….well it should be addressed.

The blonde looked at her, "No it's…it's not Peter but…..that whole thing? It sounded…..it sounded like someone else." Yang looked away, her throat was tight and she felt her heartbeat going like a jackhammer, "And…..she's not here anymore."

MJ blinked, processing her answer, "Oh…..you mean…." Yang looked at her, her face flushed, "Hey, there's nothing wrong with that." MJ said, smiling supportively as she reached a hand out to her shoulder. Yang's lilac eyes looked at her in relief, her body untensing as she let out a shaky breath, "Hey. Come here." MJ said, opening her arms up, Yang moved in and welcomed the embrace that Mary Jane gave her, the blonde's arm wrapping around her back loosely as she enjoyed the hug.

Pulling back, she was met with Mary Jane's considerate expression, "You ok?' she asked.

Yang nodded, "I….god I've been….I've been keeping that to myself for a while." she admitted. MJ chuckled, making her feel more relaxed, "Your cool with this right? I mean-"

MJ gave her a firm but supportive look, "Hey, if anyone does have a problem? I'll kick their ass for you. You can lend me Ember Cillica to do it." she said, the blonde snorting in amusement but smiling from the support. "If you don't mind me asking…..how long have you felt like this?" she asked curiously.

Yang leaned back into the couch and thought about it, "Around last Fall I think, I mean me and Peter were together and I enjoyed it but with us being apart so often? And us going to different schools? It wasn't going to work out in the long run, we broke it off but I think Peter knew it as well and didn't want more heartache for the both of us." she explained.

MJ knew there was more to it, Peter also felt like it wasn't fair that he should keep his secret from her but he couldn't trust her to know after what they did with the whole highway incident. She took a deep breath, "Then….well afterwards, I started feeling things and I got no problem with girls who like girls, or anything like that. But realizing that you might like girls yourself…well it's kind of a process." she admitted.

MJ nodded in understanding, "Yeah I can see that…so….can I ask…." she began.

Yang frowned, "….Blake…"

The name made the air around the room freeze, "O-Oh…" was MJ's only reply.

Yang nodded, "Yeah….first girl I find out I like….like this, and…" she frowned, her brow furrowing in anger before shaking her head, "Whatever."

Mary Jane grabbed her hand, "Hey, no, regardless how you feel about Blake you can't let what she did define who you are." she quickly replied, surprising the brawler, "Love who you love Yang. And don't ever let anyone else tell you differently." she said supportively.

The blonde's lips tugged into a genuine smile, "Thanks MJ…that means a lot…now I just need to tell my dad….and sister….and probably Peter."

"Oh Peter won't care." MJ said, waving her off, "He might be surprised but if he ever gave you or anyone trouble for that. We wouldn't even be together." she said confidently. "And Ruby would love you no matter who you find attractive, I mean she doesn't even seem interested in boys." she added.

Yang nodded, "Yeah true….and dad wouldn't have an issue either I think I just…..man it's a big change."

MJ raised her can, "But you got me to back you up." she said, Yang smiled before taking her drink and toasting to it, "But I am off the market, no matter how attractive you find me." she said, gesturing to herself. Yang gave her an over emphasized once over, making them both burst into a fit of laughter. The blonde let out a long sigh of relief, MJ reached over to her hand and grasped it, "Hey. Seriously though. Any girl would be lucky to have you." she said encouragingly

This is what I get for monologuing. Peter thought in frustration as he uplifted the weight of an entire roof on his shoulders, the explosion hat Adam set off had taken out one of the only other support pillars that was keeping the roof up in the old theatre up. So when the dust explosion took out the pillar, it caused as section of it to fall towards the stage where the White Fang Spider-Man had captured were stuck by his webbing. Peter couldn't et them get crushed so he leapt onto the stage to stop the ceiling from coming down on them.

"We're gonna die! We're gonna die! We're gonna die!" one of the terrorists said in panic.

"Calm down!" one shouted at the panicking one.

Peter looked down at the five who were still stuck in his webbing, his feet were sunk into the splintered floor and the weight on his shulders made the stage below him strain and moan. "She's right." he breathed out, "Your all going to be ok, I promise." he said. "That web bomb I hit you guys with? It's not as strong as my usual webbing, so if you struggle enough you might be able to break out of it." he said.

One of them with deer antlers turned to them, "You heard him!"

"Wait! Why should we even listen to him! He's the one who got us here in the first place!" another spat out, looking at the vigilante.

"Gary are you serious right now?!" One with bear ears on his head asked, "He could have left us to die like our 'leader' but he stuck back to save us! Screw Adam man, he's a coward!" he said a he leaned back from the webbing to try and pull it apart.

Spider-Man nodded, "Thank you." he said appreciatively, his arms, back, and shoulder were all sore from holding the roof. Thankfully it was only a section of it, so as soon as the White Fang were clear he could get out from under it. Behind him it was still connected to the stable part of the roof so he couldn't throw it off like he usually could with debris. "So…..why take orders from that jerk?" he asked.

The girl with antlers tilted her head in disbelief at him, "Seriously?"

"Look lady I'm trying to take my mind off the weight I'm holding up here, and the bill I'm going to need from my chiropractor. Humor me?" he asked.

She sighed, "Fine…..he knows what it's like to be hurt by humans, our High Leader wants us to sit and wait, but we need to act."

"By luring Grimm to the Huntsman School that protects everyone?" Spider-Man asked.

The bear faunus looked away, "I didn't sign up for that."

"It was needed! We had to show the Humans that we won't tolerate their hate for us! Better than this traitor!" the one said, tilting his head to the arachnid hero.

Spider-Man sent him a glare, "Ok pal I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'm not a Faunus. I just got these dumb powers by accident." he reiterated, on occasion he would be asked by someone he saved if he was a faunus, which he politely corrected but he would think the Faunus organization would know by now.

"But your not human! You have more in common with us! They want to hunt you down and imprison you for being different! How is that any different from us?" he argued.

Spider-Man's eyes narrowed, "Simple, I'm not hurting people to make a difference." he replied before the bear faunus' webbing snapped. The webbing broke apart from the others, the five scrambling away from the stage before Spider-Man threw the section of the roof up and leapt out onto the stands as the roof collapsed behind him. The five White Fang members where barely on their feet before they were once again covered with webbing.

"Hey! What the hell?!" the complaining one asked.

"What you thought I'd let you guys go after I saved you? Your terrorists!" I'm sorry you guys have had it rough but I can't just let you get away." he said as the sounds of sirens echoed through the new hole in the roof. Spinning a webline up to the ceiling he swung out through the hole as the police pulled up in front of the not so abandoned theatre.

Peter rolled his sore shoulders as he waked through his apartment building, Great job Parker, Adam gets away because you got too wound up. And according to Jean, the White Fang had some pretty high end lawyers show up to argue that Spider-Man was assaulting them at a peaceful gathering. he thought in frustration, knowing the Fisk was behind it. reaching his floor he fished his keys out of his pocket and unlocked the door to his apartment. Slipping inside, he came upon the sight of Mary Jane and Yang under a blanket, which looked like his, watching TV with a bag of chips between them.

The blonde waved at him with her mouth full while MJ smiled, "Hey tiger, long day?" she asked as he kicked off his shoes and walked over to the couch to sit down beside his girlfriend, the loud sigh he made when he sunk into the seat gave her his answer. "Aww, there, there." she said, patting his hand.

Looking over he saw MJ smiling at him and suddenly the pain in his shoulders didn't feel too bad, "Sorry I'm late, I got held up at work." he apologized. "Sooner we can get scrolls working again the better."

"You said it." MJ said before looking over at Yang, the blonde's expression was unsure but with a nod from MJ she felt some confidence surface.

"So….Peter, there's something I need to tell you." she began, her friend sitting up at attention. "I'm…..well lately I've had a lot of time to think back and….well I sort of realized something about myself." she admitted before taking a breath. "I…..I like girls…." she admitted out loud, her throat tightening as the admission left her throat and out into he world. She was almost too scared to look at Peter, but what she saw made those fears evaporate.

There wasn't any anger, or disgust, or betrayal like she feared, there was just surprise, "Oh….oh! OHHHH!" he said in sequence as he realized what she meant. "That's...wow I'm kind surprised to be honest but I'm happy for you." he admitted himself before giving her a welcoming smile. Yang felt the air leave her lungs in relief, Peter noticed the relief she had and glanced at MJ who gave him a small, sad smile. "So….I was that bad huh?" he joked.

Yang guffawed as MJ rolled her eyes, standing up from the blanket to get something to drink for Peter, "What!" she asked in laughter, she shook her head, "No, no you were perfectly fine. A real gentlemen." she replied. Peter smiled back at the joke before he leaned back in his seat, "I mean I still can appreciate guys, and I think some are attractive but….well after a while I realized I was looking at girls the same way." she explained.

Peter nodded in understanding, "Sure. Nothing wrong with that. We're still cool, right?" he asked.

Yang smiled reassuringly at him, "Of course." she looked in the kitchen behind Peter to see MJ looking at both of them with a pleased look. "Your girlfriend is awesome by the way."

"Hey I saw her first." Peter replied.

Yang grinned, "Welllll technically I did if you remember right." Peter opened his mouth and then groaned upon realizing that she was right. "Hey MJ-!' she called out before Peter threw a pillow at her face, the redhead walking between them and sitting down.

"Children please. Now that we're all here, lets begin." she said, handing Peter his water with one hand and grabbing the remote with the other.

Yang set the pillow behind her as MJ pulled up the streaming site that both Peter and Harry paid for. As she scrolled over some selections, Peter's eyes caught one, "Oh! That one might be good." he said, Yang looking at the one he saw and her eyes widening before nodding.

"Oh yeah, classic." she agreed.

MJ looked between them in confusion, "You guys know this one?" she asked skeptically.

The two shared a look with one another, Peter realizing it first, "Oh! Yeah weren't born here in Vale!" he realized. "It's this actual guy who went around back like…..thirty years ago?" he said, trying to recall the urban legend.

Yang nodded, "Yeah, my dad told me and Ruby that his old team actually tried to catch him for a while." she recalled.

MJ looked between them with intrigue, "Ok now I'm interested. Guess it's unanimous, 'Blooming of the Sin Eater' It is." she decided before clicking on the title with he remote.

AN: (A COLD HAND SHOOTS OUT OF A GRAVESTONE AND PULLS IT'S BODY OUT FROM THE GROUND)

I LIVEEEEEEEEEEE!

Ok but for real I feel bad for this one, I started this a while back and got caught up in wrapping my Daredevil story up (shameless plug for that) and also been planning ANOTHER fic out.

So obviously some big stuff with Yang this chapter! I actually planned this to happen way back when I was writing volume 2, there's been some big indications in the show that Yang is a member of the LGBT community along with Blake who is a confirmed Bisexual. Not much happens with Peter's side aside from kicking some asshole ex boyfriend ass but that's pretty satisfying.

But the big thing is Yang, yes I know that some readers think that Yang and Peter will get back together but I wanted to show here that it's not happening. I know that it was a fun ship but honestly like I said here and couple times before, it wasn't going to work out with them both away for most of their relationship. It'd be different obviously if peter could swing over to Beacon whenever he wanted but he just can't do that.

Aside from that, RWBY CHIBI IS BACK! Neon Konbini, the animated skit series by Roosterteeth that premiered last week, showed us the first Coco Adel content since…..man, volume 3. And the books obviously but in anitmated format so…

And in Spider-Man news, the Chameleon Conspiracy has begun (here's hoping it's better then the last one with clones) with a huge shocking reveal. And with a certain Russian spy who is a master of disguise around? Everyone is a little sus. Apart from that, something I completely missed talking about last chapter was the creation of the Spider-Man fan film: Spider-Man Lotus.

It's a actual film that is being made with a low budget but has a ton of backing and a pretty sizable following, they even designed their own Spider-Man costume that's personally one of my favorites I've ever seen!

Hope you liked the extra long chapter!
