A/N: Let's get a few things out of the way before we can begin.

1. If you don't know by the summary, Part 6 does not exist in this universe, the only original character from Stone Ocean present in this story is Jolyne. So Dio never had a diary and whatnot.

2. I know that there are many returning characters from part 3, especially part 4, but this story isn't really about them. You'll see in future chapters that this story will really be about my own original characters and their own Stands, (I've made 20+ original Stands for this fanfiction).

3. This will be updated every Friday with no exceptions. Doesn't matter if it's a holiday or not. So expect a new chapter every Friday without any breaks until the story is finished. If I don't post on a Friday, then assume I'm dead. Or my internet's down. You choose.

4. Lastly, there is a bit of cursing in this fanfiction, but there will be no slurs or f words. Enough rambling, enjoy and feel free to comment, I will respond to all the comments I can, so feel free to ask questions.

Episode 48: Good Riddance

Of the six people Dianne was fighting on that day, two had already been killed. Henry Binns and Tenmei Kakyoin. By the end of the battle, another one of these people would lose their life at Dianne's hands. Of the remaining people, Jotaro, Jolyne, Hozier, Joanne, and Kenna were currently still alive. But by the end of the battle, one of these people would be dead.

Dianne had only felt this type of pain three other times in her life. The first time was when her mother, Angela, passed away in the year 2000. The other two times were in the year 2005. The first of that year was when her brother, Donovan, had been shot and killed, and the second was when The Wall had murdered her three friends, Karmiel, Sebastian, and Bono. And now, four years later in 2009, Dianne felt cut-wrenching despair for the fourth and final time. A part of her still believed this was some sort of trick. She had killed her own wife? Impossible. It had to have been Joanne Jones and Kenna Fletcher. There was no way she would have killed her own wife. There was no other option than to blame the two young girls. It had to have been them. Knowing this, Dianne buried her despair for later. For now, she let all her anger take control of her body. Now was the time for revenge. She'd mourn her wife's death after everyone else is dead.

When she looked at them, she didn't see two frightened teenagers, she saw mere objects meant to be dismembered and torn apart. They weren't people, they were simply something for her to take her anger out on. They weren't living beings, they were piles of flesh meant to paint the burning forest red. Her seething anger refused to acknowledge that these two were people, just like her. She drew two quick, yet heavy breaths, pounding these ideas into her consciousness. She closed her eyes, and when they opened again, she was ready to start the massacre.

"I'll kill you… I'll kill you… I'll kill you… I'll kill you… I'll kill you… I'll kill you… I'll kill you… I'll kill you… I'll kill you… I'll kill you… I'll kill you… I'll kill you… I'll kill you… I'll kill you…"

Like a machine, she repeated these words in quick succession, all in a single breath, not allowing her body to do anything else besides chant these words. Then her body let out a wail."

"I'll kill you!"

"Jojo, look out!"

Kenna pushed Joanne away right before a conjured Thunderstruck could land a hit. The blue boxer punched the ground where Joanne once stood, but didn't stop. It hit again, and again, and again, doubling in strength every time. Dianne yelled out, blinded by rage, continuously pounding on the stone floor of the mansion, creating a bigger and bigger crater with each punch.

"She's insane…" Kenna muttered.

"Yeah, what else is new?"
Joanne stepped toward Kenna, Abstract near her, "Let's put the bitch out of her misery."

By the tenth punch, Dianne exhaled deeply, regaining some composure. She looked over at the two girls, "I won't let you both get away… Not after what you've done! You won't get away!"

Thunderstruck disappeared in red mist. The red mist flowed around Dianne before changing shape once more. Two giant gloved hands and a hatted metal ball appeared.

"Master of Puppets!"

The two hands rose above Dianne, and the caped sphere followed. Strings sprung out from the fingers and connected to Dianne's joints. The Stand and user had connected, becoming one.

"What's she doing?" Kenna asked.

"She's attaching that creepy hand Stand from The Wall to herself…"

The hands moved their fingers about and Dianne, following the movements of the strings, sprung toward the girls way faster than a normal human should be able to move.

"The hell?!"
Kenna was just barely able to duck under a kick, "How the hell is she moving so fast?!"
"Is she using Master of Puppets' ability to force her body to move faster?!" Joanne yelled out, "That's gotta be it! Can she even do that?! Is that even fair?!"

"It must be putting some immense strain on her body—!"
Kenna was stopped when a kick hit her chest, cracked her ribs, and sent her falling back, spitting up blood as she failed to stand back up.

"Ken!" Joanne yelled out before facing her Stand "Abstract, throw one of your tubes!"

"Don't worry, Jo! I have just the thing!"
Abstract grabbed one of the tubes around her waist and threw it at Dianne. The liquids poured out of the tube and began to shift back into a long, sharp, metallic rod.

Master of Puppets turned back into red mist as Dianne turned it into another Stand.

"Chop Suey!"

The newly-formed shark Stand took a bite out of the metal rod that had just materialized from the liquid, and Dianne began to take on that object's properties. Her body became as hard as metal, as the metallic coat pigmented her body. The tips of her fingers became as sharp as the rod's point, perfect for slashing through flesh. With her newfound metallic claws, Dianne smiled.

Kenna gripped her chest, feeling the broken ribs as she tried to get up. Dianne rushed over to her, her intense bloodlust glowing red in her eyes as she opened her clawed hands wide.

"Redbone!"
The Red Stand appeared, shielding its user from the blow. Dianne didn't back down, however, slashing Redbone for a second, and third time, unfettered by the red Stand.

"Damn, that didn't work, Abstract, get out the knives!"
Joanne looked as a fourth and fifth slash were added to Redbone. It had been able to block these attacks so far, but Dianne was jumping around the Stand trying to catch it off guard, it was only a matter of time before Kenna would mess up in her concentration, and get cut by Dianne.

"Here you go, Jo!"
Abstract grabbed several tubes from her belt and turned the liquids inside back into their original form, knives, which Tenmei had advised them to bring. Joanne held the five knives in her hands and threw two of them at Dianne. The knives hit, and with a scraping sound, two minor scratches appeared on Dianne's metal skin, aside from that, the knives didn't seem to damage her.

"Gotta think of something else…"
Joanne looked in dismay as the number of Dianne's attacks reached double digits. How much longer could Redbone last? Kenna's ribs had already taken a heavy beating, it was unlikely that she would be able to move away from Dianne. In other words, she was a sitting duck.

"Screw it, Abstract, let's get close to her and let her have it!"

With no other option, Joanne decided that a more hands-on approach was the best. She lunged at Dianne, Abstract at her side before reaching over and letting out a flurry of punches.

"Kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono!"

Abstract let loose on Dianne, punching the metal woman as hard as she could. Dianne was thrown back by this, her skin riddled with light dents from the punching barrage.

"Damn that really hurt my fingers, Jo."

"I know, it hurt me too. But it got Dianne out of the way."

Without a moment's waste, Redbone scooped its user up and put her inside its chest.

"I just need a few seconds, Jojo. I need to heal myself."
Kenna talked from the safety of Redbone's chest as the healing process began.

Something moved out of the corner of Joanne's vision, and she turned around to see a thin, light blue string moving its way toward her.

"What the…?!"

Some sort of thread had wrapped around Abstract's wrists and ankles, digging into her skin and slicing it open, drawing out blood.

"The hell?!"
Joanne, her wrists and ankles now spurting blood, didn't have time to react as she saw Stone Free, half unraveled, approaching her.

"Dammit! She's going to attack!"
Stone Free, formed from Red Nightmare, reeled its singular fist back, preparing to hit Joanne's head and crush her skull open with a single hit.

"Usha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha!"
Redbone sprung at the string Stand and unleashed the kinetic energy it had built up from Dianne's attacks. From the punches, strings snapped, damaging Dianne's body.

"Jojo, you okay?'

"Y-yeah… just a few cuts…"

Kenna's first act after sending Dianne sprawling to the floor was checking on her girlfriend. Joanne winced as she looked at the shallow cuts from her bleeding wrists.

Dianne got back up, wiping blood off her mouth. She had one of the knives Joanne had thrown before in her hand as she licked her other.

"Stone Free's threads. Your blood flowed down them, Joanne Jones. I made sure to get some on my hands. You too, Fletcher, I wiped my hand on the blood you coughed up. I have a combination of both of your blood on my hand."

Dianne smirked as she held up her hand. The still-wet blood was dripping off her fingers. She laughed before bringing her hand to her mouth and licking it.

"What is she…?"
"Wait a minute!"
Joanne was questioning what was happening while Kenna instantly knew what Dianne was planning. She already knew what Stand Dianne would use next. She had seen the Stand firsthand back during the assault on Morioh, and had heard about it back in the mansion.

"Uncontrollable Urge!"

Stone Free's strings disappeared as the red mist turned into a taller, zombie-like Stand. Uncontrollable Urge opened its unhinged jaw and with a single gulp, swallowed the knife that Dianne had been holding.

"Shit!"
Joanne instantly felt the sharp pain in her stomach. Uncontrollable Urge's ability had taken effect. Judging by Kenna, who fell to the ground, a knife had entered her stomach as well.

"Jojo… you're gonna have to hold on for now… Sorry, but I've gotta go in first… or else we'll both die… I won't survive if I heal you first… Please hold on!"

With a dismayed look in her eyes, Kenna re-entered Redbone's chest. Redbone, suffering the same damages as its user, was in no position to move over to Joanne. So Kenna, who was right next to the Stand, was the only person who could be healed now.

"That's okay, Ken… You don't have to worry about me at all… I have a more creative way of saving myself."

Joanne harbored no ill feelings for Kenna's decision to heal herself first. She had her own method of relieving the cutting pain in her stomach.

"Abstract, do your thing…"

Nodding to her users' request, Abstract phased her hand through Joanne's body. Abstract touched the knife inside of Joanne, and it turned to liquid.

"Not sure how good liquid knife will be to digest, but I'll deal with it. Thanks, Abstract."
"Jo, never ever have me touch your insides again. That was super gross!"

"You didn't actually touch them, you just phased."

"You know what I meant!"

As Joanne and Abstract bickered, Redbone's chest opened up, and Kenna stepped out, holding the knife that was once inside of her.

"Jojo…"

"Yeah what is it?"

"Watch out… I can't see…"

"What do you mean—!"
As soon as Kenna stepped out of Redbone, her vision stopped working, and once she warned Joanne, her girlfriend was cut off by something.

"Jojo?! Jojo?!"

"Damn, that hurt…"

Kenna called out, hoping to get an answer from her girlfriend. Her second call was answered by a groan. An indicator that Joanne, for the most part, was fine. After Joanne's comment, Kenna's vision returned.

"What happened?"
"She used that Stand that can take away senses. The one belonging to Vitas. What was it called? Seventh Element? That's it. She used it to take away your vision and threw a knife at you."

"A knife?! She threw a knife at me?!"

"Yeah, but don't sweat it, I stopped it!"

Joanne smiled as she held up her hand, a knife plunged through it.

"Jojo!"

"Worry about that later! We need to attack Dianne now!"
Kenna looked in horror as Joanne's hand bled, but her girlfriend didn't seem to be too bothered by the injury. She had her eyes fixated on Dianne, whose breathing was heavy breaths.

"I'll just have you heal me later. She comes first."

Joanne stared at her enemy as she spoke these words. Dianne's body was bruised from when she had gotten a beatdown from Abstract. She also had several cuts along her body from when Kenna had severed her threads. The damage was beginning to slowly pile on her.

"Ready, Ken?'

"Ready!"

The two nodded at each other before rushing toward Dianne.

"Kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono kono! Konoyaro!"

"Ushasha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha!"
Redbone and Abstract unleashed their fury on Dianne. They both yelled out as they relentlessly targeted Dianne, not stopping or hesitating in the slightest.

The blows hit Dianne hard, and she was sent to the ground, bleeding profusely from every orifice. She couldn't help but laugh at her own predicament.

"What the hell's so funny, bitch?"
Joanne felt seething anger at Dianne's apparent amusement with the situation. She felt appalled that after everything, Dianne was laughing. After all the death, after all the trauma, she thought to laugh. She would have been less disgusted if Dianne had pleaded for her life instead. Such an appalling sight made her blood boil Seeing her anger, Dianne wiped her battered, bloodied face. She raised her head, looking up at the two girls with a smile.

"You've surprised me, Joanne Jones. Your tenacity has served you until the very end. I can't help but applaud you one last time. You too, Kenna Fletcher. Even though you were serving under my command for three years, all it took was a brief scuffle with a Joestar to change your mind and betray me. I applaud you on that as well, Joanne Jones. You and your entire family have some sort of way to sway the hearts of others. I don't seem to have that type of charisma. Perhaps it's because my blood is a mixture of my mother's, the Joestar's, and the Brando's. The only person who I arguably swayed the heart of was Greta. Even some of my closest friends had their own ulterior reasons to be around me. And even in the end, they went against my command and got themselves killed. This is why I'm laughing. No matter how many hardships you go through, everything works out for you guys and the Joestars! I'm the one who has to suffer and carry on the sins of the fallen. That's why I'm laughing! Because, in the end, you'll still lose, Joanne Jones. As long as my heart still beats, my lungs still breathe, and my blood still flows, you won't survive, Joanne Jones, and that's not a threat, but a promise. I'm laughing at the fact that even though I'm bleeding out on the ground, I still have no doubt that I'll win, and right after, I can die peacefully and see Greta again. I'm laughing at the fact that the outcome will remain the same, with you dead. Don't you understand, Joanne Jones, I've faced death more times than I can count these past few months. I have no fear of risking everything. Especially when I have nothing but my life left to risk. It is you, Joanne Jones, who should be scared. I will never stop trying to kill you. It is a duty that must be done. No matter what."

"That's…"

Joanne was at a loss for words. She couldn't believe such a rant escaped Dianne's mouth.

"That's not what any sane human would say! Those aren't words that people in their right minds would say!"

Dianne kept laughing, "Do you still not understand, Joanne Jones? You seem unalarmed at this situation. You're going to die. Don't you understand? You. Are. Going. To. Die!"

"What are you talking about?"

Right as Joanne questioned Dianne again, she felt a sharp pain across her cheek.

She winced as she grabbed her face, which had been punched, "Ken, what are you doing?!"
"I don't know, Jojo! I'm moving by myself!"
An Egyptian raven was in Kenna's shadow, and a feather stuck out of her skin.

"I can't control myself, Jojo!"

Kenna punched Joanne again, sending her to the ground. She then kicked her girlfriend's stomach several times.

"Jojo!"

Within ten seconds, the feather fell off of Kenna, and her movements were back to normal.

"I'll heal you, Jojo! Don't worry!"

Dianne laughed even harder before calling the name of another Stand, "Ultra Violet."
The purple genie appeared next to Dianne.

"What is that?!" Kenna asked, "What Stand is that?!"
"Just a parting gift from an old friend."

Dianne smiled as she held up something in her hand, a strand of hair. Joanne's strand of hair. Holding the hair in her hand, Dianne's eyes began to glow purple.

"While I was stalling for time with my little speech, I had some of Piece of Me's homunculi grab one of Joanne Jones' hairs. Once I was in possession of her hair, I switched into Blackbird and attached it to your shadow. I told you I'd win no matter what. I told you you'd die!"

Ultra Violet split apart into ten pieces. One by one, each piece entered Joanne.

"Your death will come at my hand if you touch Kenna Fletcher. That is your curse, and that is my Edict. Ultra Violet will live with you until my edict is broken, or your life runs out."

"Your death will come at my hand if you touch Dianne Donovan. That is your curse, and that is my Edict. Ultra Violet will live with you until my edict is broken, or your life runs out."

"Your death will come at my hand if you touch Jotaro Kujo. That is your curse, and that is my Edict. Ultra Violet will live with you until my edict is broken, or your life runs out."

"Your death will come at my hand if you touch Jolyne Cujoh. That is your curse, and that is my Edict. Ultra Violet will live with you until my edict is broken, or your life runs out."

"Your death will come at my hand if you touch Hozier Byrne. That is your curse, and that is my Edict. Ultra Violet will live with you until my edict is broken, or your life runs out."

The first five curses spoke the cruel words to Joanne, prohibiting her from touching anyone else. But Dianne's smile seemed to grow as more pieces of Ultra Violet entered Joanne's body.

"Your death will come at my hand if you touch Double Abstract. That is your curse, and that is my Edict. Ultra Violet will live with you until my edict is broken, or your life runs out."

"Your death will come at my hand if you activate your Stand. That is your curse, and that is my Edict. Ultra Violet will live with you until my edict is broken, or your life runs out."

"Your death will come at my hand if you attack Dianne Donovan. That is your curse, and that is my Edict. Ultra Violet will live with you until my edict is broken, or your life runs out."

"Your death will come at my hand if you allow someone to kill Dianne Donovan. That is your curse, and that is my Edict. Ultra Violet will live with you until my edict is broken, or your life runs out."

"Your death will come at my hand if you don't prevent Dianne Donovan's death. That is your curse, and that is my Edict. Ultra Violet will live with you until my edict is broken, or your life runs out."

Joanne was writhing on the ground when these words were spoken to her.

"What the hell…?"

"Jojo! No, this can't be happening!"
Dianne laughed even harder, "Ultra Violet's ability can cast curses on individuals."

"No, this can't be happening!"
"You don't believe me? Touch Joanne Jones, and see what happens. The curses exist even after my death. But killing me wouldn't solve anything anyway since it would directly trigger two of the curses. And if you somehow find a way to counter that, Joanne Jones will never be able to even touch you or the others, she won't be able to activate her Stand either. It's all over."

"No!"

Rage and anguish filled Kenna's body. She was still having a hard time believing what exactly was happening. This Stand she never even heard about was activated on Joanne. She could only assume it was the same ability that prevented The Wall from killing other Stand users. If that was the case, then she knew for a fact that the curse was absolute, something that she didn't want to admit. There had to be some way to counteract it. Every Stand had a weakness, right? What was this one's? Her mind blanked out. She supposed that once the ten curses were used up, they were used up. This Stand wasn't meant to be used all in one go, yet Dianne had wasted it all on Joanne.

"Shit! Shit! Shit! Goddamn shit! Dianne!"
Kenna's body was pouring out anger at this point, she drastically wanted to heal Joanne's wounds, but there was nothing she could do. If Joanne touched Redbone, would that break the edict since Redbone was technically a part of Kenna? She didn't know, and she didn't have the heart to test out that idea.

"Ken…"

Joanne was at a loss over what had just happened. She had been cursed ten times? She couldn't touch Kenna, Jotaro, Jolyne, Hozier, or even Dianne anymore? She couldn't even summon Abstract or let Dianne die? Even if Dianne lost, the effects would remain with her forever?

"Dianne. What did you do?! What the hell did you do to me?!"
"I told you, Joanne Jones, I've won. I told you that no matter what you do, no matter how hard you fight back, the outcome will be the same."
Dianne exhaled, feeling a great weight being thrown off her chest. Her eyes remained on Joanne, defenseless.

"Double Abstract!"

Red Nightmare turned into Joanne's Stand.

"H-hey, Ken! Isn't one of the curses that I'll die if Abstract touches me?"

"I'll keep her away! Step back, Jojo."

Joanne gulped with nervousness as she saw her own Stand, but Kenna reaffirmed that she would protect her. Redbone stood between Dianne and Joanne, ready to attack.

"Remember Ken, you can't aim to kill her…"

"Yeah, I know. Don't worry, Jojo, we'll figure out a way to get rid of this curse."

Kenna reaffirmed Joanne with a nod as she looked back at Dianne.

"You wish to die first, Fletcher? I have no issues with that."
Dianne smiled as she lunged at Redbone. Double Abstract liquified the remaining knives that had been thrown at Dianne before throwing them all at Redbone, their original forms returning in the air. Redbone was able to dodge most of the knives, but one grazed its left shoulder. Kenna winced as her own shoulder began bleeding, but didn't focus on it. She was fighting for someone special, someone defenseless. Someone whom she loved. Someone who trusted her to protect her. She couldn't let Joanne down, no matter what. She had to think of something in the meantime. A way to disrupt the curse on Joanne.

The only thing she could think of was Binns' ability. But Dianne had already killed him. So how? How could she remove the curses? She decided it was best to focus on Dianne first and figure that out later. Joanne trusted Kenna with every fiber of her being.

Which is why when Abstract punched Redbone's knee and subsequently Kenna, all hope seemed to be lost. Dianne's Abstract reached forward toward Joanne.

...

Jolyne's eyes slowly fluttered open. What had happened? She felt a throbbing on her back and in her head like a pulsating wave of heat constantly pounding in her skull.

"-J-yn-!"

It took her a few seconds to fully realize where she was. She had been grabbed by Elastic Band and slammed onto the ground. She had no idea how long she had been knocked out. As her eyes fully opened, her indistinct hearing slowly began to process the words they were hearing.

"-lyne-!"

The noises she was hearing slowly began to resemble a word. A word she had heard many times in her life before. A word that had been present throughout her entire life.

"Jolyne!"

Her instincts fully kicked in when she remembered everything that had happened. Binns had died, she was fighting Dianne with her father, Tenmei, Hozier, Joanne, and Kenna. She was in a burning forest.

"What happened?!"

She sprang to her feet but found her eyes, nose, and mouth filled with thick, gray smoke. She collapsed back to the ground, coughing and tearing up.

"Jolyne, stay down, there's too much smoke."

Jolyne turned her head, and saw Jotaro and Hozier, laying on the ground, avoiding the smoke as well.

"What's going on? Where's Dianne?"

Jotaro shook his head, "Probably fighting Jones and Fletcher right now."

"Where's Tenmei?"

Jotaro averted his eyes, he knew this question was coming. He sighed before facing back to Jolyne. He was in no position to keep the truth from her

"He's dead. Dianne killed him."

"Wh—?!"

For a second, Jolyne thought she had misunderstood him. That had to be it. How could someone like Tenmei be killed? But after seeing the solemn look on Jotaro's face and the wet tears across Hozier's cheeks, she knew that her father's words were true.

"Jolyne, we need to get out here. We've been using Hozier's Stand to clear away any falling burning trees, but the smoke is going to end up killing us. I need you to use your Stand to stitch up my leg so I can walk."

Jolyne nodded. As Stone Free unwinded a thread to stitch up Jotaro's leg. As she did this, Jolyne noticed several circular holes gouged into the ground.

"What happened here?"

Jotaro sighed as he felt the threads closing his wound up, "After she killed Kakyoin, Dianne used one of The Wall's Stands, Def Leppard, to try and kill us as well. I think that she hit Greta by accident and stopped the attack. Had it not been for that, I don't think I would've made it. I doubt you would've survived either. The only one with a chance of surviving that attack was Hozier, who could've used his Stand as a shield."

"D-did we actually cut it that close?"

Jolyne was thrown back by how close to death she and her father had really gone. In a single second, everything could've been over. This realization sent a surge through her body as she realized something.

"W-wait, you said that she's fighting Joanne and Kenna? How long have they been fighting?"
After Jotaro's leg was fully stitched, he tried to stand up, lowering his head so it wasn't invaded with smoke.

"No more than five minutes. That's why we need to head there now, who knows what could've already happened. Come one!"
Jolyne felt a pit in her stomach as she heard this, standing up herself, but keeping her head low. "Hozier, can you clear us a path?"

"Y-yeah!"
The little boy nodded as Take me to Church appeared next to him and the mirror cracked. Like a ray lighting up the dark sky, the smoke, along with the trees, split apart, momentarily opening up a pathway for them to exit the burning forest. Jotaro leaned on the mirror as he limped toward the opening, Hozier following close behind.

Jolyne looked back, "I can't just leave you two to burn…"

Her hand unwound itself into a series of strings that wrapped around the bodies of Binns and Tenmei and carried them along.

The path out of the forest wasn't long, but due to Jotaro's limping and Hozier constantly having to stop to split apart the converging smoke, they took over a minute to make their way out.

"Do you know where Dianne, Joanne, and Kenna are?" Jolyne asked as she finally exited the burning forest. The forest surrounding the mansion was almost completely engulfed in flames, leaving the ruins of the mansion illuminated by fire as a seemingly endless stream of smoke filled the air. The sounds of burning wood and snapping branches were omnipresent around them.

"Let's head to the mansion," Jotaro said, "That's our best bet. I doubt they all made their way back within the burning forest. And plus, Greta stayed behind in the mansion, so if Dianne was heading toward her, then she'd be at the mansion as well. That's where we're going, Jolyne."

Jolyne nodded as she led the way, creating a net around herself, Jotaro, and Hozier. If anything tried to attack from a distance, the net would absorb most or ideally, all of the damage. As they made their way toward the shattered remains of the mansion, the second and third floors having crumbled on top of the first, they began to hear shouts from three people: Joanne Jones, Kenna Fletcher, and Dianne Donovan.

"Sorry, Ken, you can yell at me about this later…"

Joanne's voice was shaky and sounded like it was filled with regret

"Jojo…"

Kenna's voice was dumbfounded as if she couldn't believe or even accept what she was seeing. She was quiet as if her brain was still processing what was happening around her

"Wh-what?! What the h-hell…?!"

Dianne's voice was wet and filled with surprise. It sounded as if some sort of liquid was profusely coming out of her mouth, making her almost choke on her voice as she voiced her angry yell of disbelief.

Past a still-standing pillar, disconnected at the top, Jotaro, Jolyne, and Hozier saw what had transpired. Kenna, her knee broken, was on the ground, while Dianne was face-to-face with Joanne. Upon a closer look, Joanne's hand seemed to be lodged into Dianne's gut. A great amount of blood was pouring out from both Dianne's mouth and wound. There were two Stands next to the two, both resembling Abstract. One was next to Dianne, and the other was next to Joanne. Joanne's Abstract held a firm grip on Dianne's wrists, not allowing the Stand to touch Joanne.

"H-how…?!" Dianne spat out more blood as she felt the sensation in her arms and legs disappear, "How aren't you… d-dead?!"

Joanne sighed, "These curses… They seem to be easily bendable. They seem to be just vague enough for me to bend them. I wonder if that's a fault with the Stand? Or maybe it was just your own stupidity? Honestly, how do you mess up with such a powerful ability?"

"What the hell are you saying?!"
Dianne tried to raise her arms. All she had to do was lay a hand on Joanne, then Ultra Violet's curse would surely kill her. But then again, Joanne's hand was surely plunged into Dianne's gut. So why wasn't Joanne dying? Why wasn't Ultra Violet's edict breaking? As Dianne strained, her arms only rose a couple of inches before falling back down to her sides.

Shit, this is bad… I need to get out of this situation somehow… But how the hell is Joanne Jones even still alive?! This… this doesn't make sense at all! I don't understand what's going on!

Joanne turned her head, having heard footsteps, "The others have arrived as well. It's all over now, Dianne. Get these curses out of me right now. It'll save you a hell of a lot of pain."
"You little shit! I would never— bleh!"

Dianne cursed Joanne out, but stopped and coughed up more blood when she felt another immense pain in her gut. Every time she just barely moved, a spike of pain rose from her injury.

"How, damn it?! You're attacking me… and you're touching me… and you've summoned your Stand… That's three broken edicts. You should be dead. Why the hell aren't you dead?! Answer me! Why aren't you dead?! Why isn't Ultra Violet working?!"
"Three edicts, huh? That sounds about right. I wasn't one hundred percent sure, but this is a relief. I was hoping that you wouldn't somehow be able to one-up me."

"Just tell me, bitch! How the hell are you alive?!"
"You sure are pushy, calm down. So long as I don't take my hand out of your stomach, you shouldn't bleed out to death for another few minutes. We have plenty of time. But if you insist, I'll tell you everything. Jotaro!" she turned her head toward Jotaro, Jolyne, and Hozier, "If this bitch tries anything, stop time and break all her fingers. There's nothing I can do if you're in stopped time, so it shouldn't affect the cure. And make sure not to touch me at all. I'll die if that happens."

"I'm not sure I fully understand," Jotaro said, "But you seem to know what you're doing. I'll do what you've asked of me."

"Thanks," Joanne turned back to Dianne, "Let's start off with the most simple one. Abstract here has your Red Nightmare imposter immobilized. But how did I summon her? Doesn't that break one of your stupid edicts? Simple answer is, I never summoned her because I never un-summoned her. Right before you activated your stupid Ultra Violet ability, I had Abstract hide behind me. She's been here the entire time. Let's see, what's next? Oh yeah, I 'attacked' you didn't I? Except not quite. You're the one who was attacking me. You're the one who came to me. All I did was hold my hand forward to protect myself. It wasn't an attack at all."

"Wh-?" Dianne was at a loss, "That doesn't make sense!"

"Should've chosen your words carefully, bitch! Maybe if you would've said something like 'Joanne Jones cannot hurt Dianne Donovan', then I'd have a massive problem. But you're just a dumb bitch! I never attacked you, asshole! I was just protecting myself and you dove into my hand. Speaking of, there's the third edict, right? Probably the most troublesome one. How am I touching you right now? Short answer is, I'm not touching you."

"What the hell are you talking about…?"
Dianne was at a complete loss. She had no idea what to think anymore. Abstract having always been there was at least understandable. But what was going on with the second one? Joanne had technically never attacked Dianne. It was Dianne who had dove into Joanne's hand. Dianne supposed it made some sort of sense. And Ultra Violet seemed to agree with her since it wasn't acting upon its 'broken' edict. But this third one was completely beyond comprehension. Joanne wasn't touching her right now? That was absurd. She could feel her hand in her gut. There was no possible way the two weren't touching. So then how? Just how was Joanne alive?

"I said I'm not touching you right now. As in, my hand isn't touching any part of your body. Ken did an amazing job buying me just a little bit of time. I used this time to have a nice little chat with Abstract. We can talk in our heads, you know? We devised a plan. Since we knew that once you'd gotten through Ken, you'd either touch me yourself or have your clone of Abstract touch me, we devised something simple. Abstract would make sure that your Stand doesn't touch me, and I'd let you leap into this."

Joanne smiled as she lightly moved her hand inside Dianne's stomach which prompted an anguished yell from Dianne and a spit of blood. Having punished Dianne, she kept talking.

"Abstract managed to pick up one of the knives from earlier. I'm holding onto that knife right now. But only half of the knife was fully solid, the half that helped me stab into your stomach. The other half, the handle, reformed back into a solid while my hand was still inside the liquid. Does that make sense at all? The liquid was around my hand, and it perfectly solidified around it. It's like I'm wearing a metal glove with the tip of a knife coming out of it. There is no direct contact between us whatsoever."

"That's absolutely insane…"

Kenna spoke for the first time since she had been knocked down. While Joanne was explaining everything to Dianne, she had managed to heal her own broken knee, and heal any wounds that Jotaro, Jolyne, or Hozier might've had. All the while, she was listening and paying close attention to the interaction between the two.

Joanne yanked her hand out of Dianne's stomach, causing an ocean of blood to spew out. Joanne revealed that her hand, which had been balled into a fist, was indeed covered by something metal with a knife-shaped blade coming out of it.

"Abstract, if she tries to change her Stand, stick your finger into one of her eyes, that should teach her a lesson."

"You've got it, Jo!"

Dianne gasped as her now fully opened wound, kept spewing out blood. Dianne had already lost a lot of blood earlier in her fight with Joanne and Kenna, so she would bleed out in less than a minute. Her death was imminent.

"But I can't have you die, can I?" Joanne clicked her tongue, "That'd just end up killing me as well. Plus, I'm still gonna need you to remove these curses from me. Jolyne, stitch her up. Make it as painful as you want, that bitch seriously has it coming after all she's done to us."

"Gladly," Jolyne said, "After what she did to Tenmei, this bitch has it coming!"

"After what she did to… Tenmei…?"

Joanne was thrown for a loop when she heard these words. Come to think of it, why wasn't Tenmei here? Only Jotaro, Jolyne, and Hozier had appeared. Where had Tenmei gone? Jolyne detached the two bodies from her strings before going over to Dianne and stomping on her a couple of times before cruelly stitching her stomach shut so she wouldn't bleed out to death. Joanne lingered on these two bodies. Who were they? What were they doing here? She recognized the first one immediately, it was Binns. She already knew he had died earlier. Her heart yearned for him to be alive, but she had already pushed those feelings away for the time being, at least until Dianne was defeated. But who was that second body? The only other person who died was Greta. But Greta's body was right there just a few meters in the opposite direction. So if it wasn't Greta's body, then whose was it? Nobody else had died, right?

"Jolyne…" Kenna was the one who spoke up, "What exactly happened after we got separated?"

Jotaro sighed, "It would've been better if we waited until after to tell you. But if you must know, I have no right to withhold the information. Kakyoin is dead. He saved mine and Jolyne's life and fought Dianne with all his strength, he was the closest to killing her than any of us have been so far. Had he not stepped up and sacrificed himself, I doubt we would've all won. Had it not been for him, Dianne would've dealt with me and Jolyne and soon even Hozier. With a level head, I'm sure she would've even disposed of you two. Kakyoin is the reason we've gotten this far."
"Tenmei's dead…?"

Jotaro's words other than "Kakyoin is dead", seemed to go past Joanne and Kenna's heads. All they heard were the forbidden words. In their heads, Tenmei wasn't truly dead until someone admitted it. Jotaro had coldly spoken the words without hesitation.

The world around the two seemed to stop. Tenmei? Dead? How could someone like him die? He had been with them since the very beginning. Since right after Jon L. and Stue Rod's attack on Morioh. He was the one who had led the group to Dianne's mansion. Of that initial group from what seemed like so forever ago, now only Joanne and Kenna remained. Dianne and The Wall had slowly taken more and more people away, and now only five were left.

Hol Horse. Polnareff. June. Ally. Portobello. Binns. And now Tenmei. Too many lives had been taken away. And Joanne and Kenna's grief, quickly turned into anger as they turned back to Dianne, who was being treated by Jolyne.

"The stitches only stopped any external bleeding," Jolyne said, "But her insides are pretty messed up. All I've done is postpone her death. If something doesn't happen soon, she'll still die."

"Damn it all!"

Joanne stomped her feet in anger, "After killing Tenmei like that, we can't let you live! Listen here, bitch! You're gonna remove those curses from me, right now! You hear?!"
"Or what…?" A bloody smile came across Dianne's bloody face, "You'll kill me? I'm afraid it's you who's been backed into a corner, Joanne Jones. What will you do? I'm not removing those curses. You'll just have to live the rest of your life like this." She stopped to chuckle for a few seconds, "Oh sorry, my bad. You don't have the rest of your life left. When I die, you die. Our fates are forever connected, I'm afraid."

One of Jolyne's threads wrapped around Dianne's left pinky finger and with a yank, it snapped the finger backward, breaking it and causing her to yell out in pain.

"Shut the hell up," Jolyne raised her middle finger at Dianne, "How cowardly do you have to be to force these curses or whatever onto someone else? How desperate do you have to be to connect your life to someone else like that? You're the literal definition of evil, you bitch! You make me sick. Sicker than my father, and that's saying something. The bastard's done nothing but leave me behind. But at least I have some shred of respect for him. At least I know he has good intentions. You, on the other hand, rot in hell you damn bitch!"

Having spoken her malicious words, Jolyne stepped back to her father, "So what now? What's the plan? We can't let Dianne die, and we can't even touch Joanne either."

Jotaro took a deep breath, "Binns could've easily used The Space Between to disrupt this ability… I'm sure there's a way to counteract it. In the meantime, nobody touch Jones," he looked at Joanne, "And keep your Stand summoned at all times too."

"Yeah, of course. If Abstract goes away now, she'll be gone for good."
Jotaro nodded, "Dianne Donovan will pass out and enter a coma before her heart fully stops. When this happens, I can use Star Platinum to artificially keep her heart pumping. I'll just have to keep that up for the entire car ride back. After that, we can use SPW Foundation machinery to keep her alive. We'll keep her until we find a way to counteract these curses. Until then, Jones, It's best that you keep your distance from everybody. And I ask that you sleep in a separate room from Fletcher from now on. At least until we can sort this out."
"How cute…" Dianne smirked as she looked up at Jotaro, "The two little lovebirds share a room together? That's adorable. But you don't have to worry, you won't have to buy a new room for Joanne Jones. Cause she's not coming back."

Joanne suddenly felt something tickle her shoulder, she looked over and saw a bug-looking homunculus made out of skin crawling around her, just over her star shaped birthmark.

"It's the same one I used to grab your hair earlier. It's what helped me set the curse in the first place. Now it'll end the curse. I told you you were gonna die no matter what, Joanne Jones."

Joanne's heart skipped a beat when she realized what the homunculus was holding in its mouth. It was a strand of hair. It was a pitch-black strand of hair. Dianne's strand of hair.

"No—!"

Joanne yelled out as she attempted to swat the homunculus away. But it was too late, it opened its mouth, dropping the strand on Joanne's exposed nape, right behind her shoulder, right where the Joestar birthmark was.

"Joanne!'

"Joanne!"

"Jones!"

"Jojo!"

Four people called out her name. The first two belonged to a seven-year-old boy and a sixteen-year-old girl. They both called her by her first name. The third belonged to a man thirty-seven years of age. He called her by her last name. The last belonged to a seventeen-year-old girl. She called her by her nickname. These were the four voices Joanne heard before her body stopped responding and she stopped seeing. Then, another voice spoke. It was the voice of Dianne, but it didn't come from her.

"Joanne Jones," Dianne's voice said her full name loudly, "You have broken my edict. You were to not touch Dianne Donovan. Your left shoulder has come into contact with her hair. You're well aware of your punishment. On behalf of my user, I use my ability, Ultra Violet, to end your life. This is the consequence of breaking my edict."

"No!"

Kenna's desperate cry was the last thing Joanne heard before Ultra Violet clapped its hands together and sent a surge of electricity into her mouth. The electricity shot through Joanne, numbing her entire body, heart included, and instantly killing her.

The other nine parts of Ultra Violet exited Joanne's body. And merged with the first to become one before they all disappeared.

"That's one Joestar down…" Dianne smiled. Now that Abstract was gone, there was nothing holding Red Nightmare, preventing it from transforming.

"Now I just have to deal with the rest of you… What are…?! Fletcher!"

Dianne, her confidence regained as Red Nightmare began to transform, was too late to notice Redbone charging at her. Kenna yelled out as loudly as she could as Redbone landed a punch on Dianne's face, and then another, and another.

"Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die!" Dianne tried to block the punches, but it was useless. Kenna yelled the words out over and over.

What the hell?! Fletcher's going to kill me! I've gotta activate a Stand now! I can barely move! What the hell do I do? I need a Stand! Damn it, Fletcher! Greta, save me!

Red Nightmare transformed into a Stand, but Dianne, in the heat of the moment, had chosen a Stand at random, any Stand would help. As Dianne touched her own blood, escaping from her cracked-open and pummeled face, her memories came flashing back. The last thing Dianne experienced was her entire life up in quick succession, for the Stand that Red Nightmare had generated had been the first one she had acquired, her mother's Stand, Good Riddance.

Even after Red Nightmare disappeared completely and Dianne stopped moving, she kept relentlessly pounding on her face before Star Platinum forcefully pulled Redbone back. "Enough already, Fletcher. She's dead."

Having killed Dianne, Kenna crumbled to her knees, crying through shaky breaths as she grabbed Joanne's body and held her.

"No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no… This isn't happening, this isn't happening, this isn't happening, this isn't happening, this isn't happening! Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo, Jojo…"
She repeated the words over and over as she cradled Joanne, crying into her. Her arms shook, her legs shook, her entire body shook.

"Kenna…" Not knowing what to say, Jolyne put a hand on Kenna's shoulder, "Everything's gonna be fine—"

"Don't touch me!" Kenna yelled out at Jolyne through her sobs, "Everything's not fine! Jojo's dead! She's dead! Get away from me!"
"Hey—!"

Jolyne got ready to comfort Kenna, but Jotaro held his hand in front of her.

"Leave her be. Losing someone so close to you isn't easy. Let Fletcher have one last moment with Jones."

"I…" Jolyne was at a loss. She knew her father was right. She slowly nodded as she sat down, looking at the aftermath of Kenna's rage. Dianne's face was unrecognizable. Redbone had bashed it in completely. Jotaro, also noticing the disgusting sight, took off his jacket and used it to cover Dianne's head. Jolyne heard something, it was as if something was moving the dirt. She looked over and realized that it was her shaking hand, resting on the ground, that was moving the dirt. Her entire arm was shaking. When she lifted her other arm to stop the shaking, something within her refused to hold anything back, and the tears began to flood out of her face as well.

"Damn it…"

She could only curse under her breath as she gave in to despair. She heard footsteps next to her, and she felt something lean against her shoulder.

"It's okay, Hozier…"

She spoke the words to the seven-year-old leaning on her, crying, even though she knew that things weren't really okay. She opened her arm, embracing the boy. The two cried together.

Jotaro sighed, "Yare yare daze…"

...

It had only been half an hour, but the sun was already beginning to set. Most of the fire had subsided, but a substantial amount of the forest was still ablaze. The crackling fire could be heard as a car pulled in. Jotaro stepped out of the car and found Jolyne sitting next to Joanne. Hozier had fallen asleep ten minutes prior.

"You okay, Kenna?"

"Yeah… I'm sorry, Jolyne… for what I said earlier… I know you were only trying to help…"

"No, don't apologize. I shouldn't have stepped in so soon."
Kenna took a deep sigh as she looked at Jolyne, "Can you make me a promise?"

"Of course, anything. What is it?"

"Promise you won't stop me. No matter what."

"Stop you from what…?"
"You have to trust me. Just promise you won't try to stop me. I've thought long and hard about this. This is a decision I've come to terms with. You need to promise me that you won't try to stop me."
Jolyne saw the serious gaze in Kenna's eyes and felt a pit in her stomach, "...Alright…"

Kenna sighed as she stood up and put a hand on Hozier's sleeping head, "I'm gonna miss you… I know how devastated you'll be, but I'm sure Jojo will take care of you…"

"Kenna, what the hell are you talking about?"

Kenna ignored Jolyne as she walked over to Joanne's body, which was lying down next to the bodies of Tenmei and Binns.

"I'm sorry you two, I know how selfish it is, but I have only one life to give, and I'm giving it to Jojo. You can yell at me in the afterlife soon."

"Kenna… you're not planning on…"

Kenna looked back at Jolyne and gave her a hug, "She's gonna be mad I did this. And she'll probably blame you for not stopping me. I need you to be strong for her, do you hear me? I'm sorry for unleashing such a heavy burden onto you, but she deserves this."

"Stop… you don't even know if this is gonna work…"

Kenna let go of Jolyne as she shook her head, "It was one of the first things I tried when I got my stand. I used it on a couple of flies, one dead and one alive. I know this is possible."
Jotaro stepped out of the car, "What's happening?"

Jolyne swallowed and looked away, not wanting to answer. But Kenna answered for her.

"I'm giving Jojo my life."

She spoke the words boldly, almost as if she was proud of her decision, "You can't stop me. I refuse to live in a world without her."

Jotaro sighed, "Yare yare daze… This isn't a choice you can just take back, you know that?"

"Yes… I've already thought long and hard about this."

"It's only been half an hour, at least wait until we get back to Morioh." Jolyne pleaded.

"No. I'm doing this now. You can't stop me!"
Jotaro clicked his tongue, "Teenagers… I remember when I lost my best friend. Kakyoin's uncle. His name was Noriaki. If I was given the choice, I would've exchanged my life for his."

"So you're not going to stop me?"
"I'm not going to be held responsible for anything. Just know that."

Kenna smiled, "Yes, of course. I want to thank you, Jotaro. For your help against The Wall and Dianne… I don't think we could've done it without you. Make sure you protect Joanne from now on, alright?"

"The best way I can protect her is by keeping her out of my life."

Jolyne visibly shuddered at that comment.

Kenna sighed before taking a deep breath, "I'd like to express some last words of sorts. I want to thank you all for sticking with us and fighting. And now everything's over. Dianne's dead. My final guardian. My guardians don't have a very good track record. My mother died during surgery after the doctors cut me out of her belly… My father, that depressed, drunk, bastard… He died in a drunk-driving crash when I was ten. After that, I was put in foster care. And when I was thirteen, my foster father died of cancer at the age of thirty-one. When I was fourteen, Greta took me in. She was my guardian, and by extent, her wife, Dianne was as well. Now they're both dead as well. Just like all my other guardians. It feels like a curse of sorts. But I don't regret the life I've lived. I'm happy to have found people like you, especially Jojo. But she deserves to experience life more than me. And plus, a part of me will always be with her. She'll have my life."

Kenna felt tears fall down her eyes as she said this. Jolyne, likewise, was crying.

"Goodbye. Please make sure Abstract doesn't get Jojo into any trouble."

"Will do…!"
Jolyne, wiping the tears away, gave Kenna a thumbs up. Kenna nodded as she picked up Joanne's body, which had already begun to grow cold. Redbone kneeled down and opened its chest, its arms spread open, looking like a mother ready to embrace her child. Kenna, still carrying Joanne, stepped inside Redbone's chest and took one last look at Hozier, Jolyne, and Jotaro.

Once Redbone's chest closed, Kenna took a breath. She began to swap her life into Joanne's body. The process would take no more than thirty seconds, she predicted. As she sat down in the black abyss that was the inside of Redbone's chest, she held Joanne in her arms. She could feel her life slowly slipping away, slowly losing any feeling in her lower body. After twenty seconds, Kenna could barely breathe, she felt her heart rate drop, and she felt that even moving was taxing on her body. Just as she was ready to give in, and let the rest of her life be taken, Joanne's eyes slowly fluttered open.

"Jojo…"
She barely had enough strength to speak. As her life seeped out of her.

"Ken…?"
Both girls, half alive, looked at each other.

"I'm sorry… Jojo… Please don't hate me… for this…"

"Ken, I love you."

If a proper amount of blood was flowing through Kenna's body, her cheeks would've flushed red. She felt two cold hands gently grab her head.

"Wha…?"

She was pulled in close, and without warning, she was kissed. Joanne's and Kenna's lips had met for both the first and last time.

"Jojo… I love you too…"

These were Kenna Fletcher's last words before her life completely faded away from her, having been transferred to Joanne. From the outside, Redbone slowly crumbled away, and once it was gone, Joanne, still kissing Kenna's lifeless body, could be seen.

"Joanne!"

A smile appeared on Jolyne's face as she ran toward Joanne, who had just broken her kiss.

"Jolyne…? What happened… I wasn't thinking… I think Dianne knocked me out or something…"

Joanne looked down and fully realized what had happened between her and Kenna, her face instantly turned into a bright shade of red, "Wait did Ken and I just k-kiss?!"

"Joanne… I'm going to say something that might shock you, so please take a deep breath."

"Why? What's going on?"

"You… died, Joanne."

"What? No, I didn't. I'm still alive."

Jolyne gulped, "No, Joanne, you died. It's been about half an hour, but you definitely died. You touched a strand of Dianne's hair, and the curse activated, killing you."

"I don't understand… How am I alive now?"

"Kenna… used her ability… to exchange her life for yours…"

"Exchange her life for mine?" For a few seconds, the true meaning of this statement flew over Joanne's head. But then she looked down at Kenna's unmoving body, which she was holding, and realized. Like a rock sinking into the bottom of the ocean, Joanne's heart sank down her body.

"No… she didn't…"

"Joanne, I'm so sorr—!"

Jolyne expected Joanne to be devastated, mad even, but she was met with a loud laugh.

"Joanne?

The laugh continued, Joanne trembled as she kept laughing, not taking her eyes off of Kenna's dead face. Then the tears began to fall.

"Ken… you damn idiot… You just couldn't handle living without me, couldn't you? And now you expect me to live without you? Damn it…"

Her uncontrollable sobs almost made her words indiscernible. But Jolyne was fully able to understand them. Her heart ached just hearing Joanne's bereaving words.

"She didn't let you stop her, did she?"

Joanne turned her tearful face to Jolyne.

"She was determined to bring you back… no matter what…"

"Then there's no use crying about it…"

Joanne's wet face didn't look like it was going to stop leaking anytime soon, yet she still spoke these words. She held Kenna tighter, hugging her for what she knew would be the last time, "You idiot, Ken… Throwing your burdens onto me…"
Joanne's tears did not stop that day.

...

Three days had passed. The drive back to Morioh had been quiet, especially now that there were three corpses in the trunk. Jotaro had dug a grave for Greta and Dianne and buried them next to their destroyed mansion and burnt forest. While Jotaro dug the holes, and Hozier slept, Jolyne sat next to Joanne, comforting her and telling her about everything that had happened after her death.

"So Ken's the one who finally did Dianne in? I'm proud of her…"

Upon the arrival back into Morioh, the first people to greet Jotaro and the others were none other than Koichi, Yukako, Rohan, Okuyasu, and Josuke. After Dianne's death, the ability of Sweet Little Rock that she had been kept activated all this time, had finally been undone. Koichi took a great liking to Hozier, and his family agreed to take him in.

That following weekend was the funeral for Tenmei, Binns, and Kenna. Tenmei was buried in Morioh next to his uncle, Noriaki. Binns' body was transported so he could rest in the same cemetery as his family, and per Joanne's request, Kenna was shipped so she could be buried next to her parents. After the funeral and festivities that followed, Joanne excused herself away from everyone else and walked to Morioh park, sitting down by herself, and staring into the night sky.

"Yo, Jo, how ya doin'?"
"Hey Abstract…"

"Listen, Jo, you won't really hear this from me again, but if it's worth anything, I'm really sorry about what happened to your little pumpkin—I mean, Kenna. I feel the same emotions you do… I know how much you've been holding everything in, Jo. I know how much you've kept your feelings bottled. Just because she died so we may live doesn't mean that you have to force yourself to be content. It's okay to feel sad, Jo. Just know that."

"Abstract… Somehow, that's the nicest thing I think you've ever said."
"Well, I try my best, Jo. Just make sure you let your feelings out sometimes, you'll only hurt yourself more if you keep them bottled up like this. Don't be afraid to talk to Jolyne."
"Thanks, Abstract…"

Joanne sighed, still gazing at the sky. Although Joanne was feeling more depressed than she had ever felt in her life, she couldn't help but look back at just what a wild ride everything up to this point had been. Beginning with her initial arrival in Morioh and ending with that final battle.

It had all started when she visited Morioh for the first time with Jolyne, Holly, and Jotaro. She had been introduced to everyone, and even after Jotaro and Holly left, she had a fun time. This was until two Stand users, Jon L. and Stue Rod attacked. After Jon L. had killed himself, Stue Rod was on the run. And what's worse was, Jolyne was forced to return to Florida. This was when Joanne had met Tenmei, Hol Horse, and Polnareff for the first time. And the following day, she had met, fought, and become friends with the soon to be love of her life, Kenna.

The five drove to Dianne's mansion, being stopped at three separate times. In the first, they fought against June Eaden and Ally Clayton, removing their flesh buds in exchange for information. In the second, they fought Loni Dodson. During the fight, Joanne and Kenna had gotten themselves captured but were able to break free and defeat Loni Dodson. And the third had been with Khan Miran, but they were able to defeat him and blow Greta's Van Fleet out of the sky.

When arriving at Dianne's mansion, Kenna had recruited Hozier, but Hol Horse and Polnareff were killed after splitting up. After the first fight against Dio, who turned out to be Dianne, Hozier's Stand had given Dianne a fatal wound, but she ended up escaping with Greta. The following two months were calm, but that all changed during the assault on Morioh.

During this assault, Loni Dodson had killed herself, and June and Ally had returned and killed two new Stand users, Bill Cliff and Danielle Miller. Joanne had been injured by Dianne, and Khan Miran had been killed by Tenmei. During this fight, Binns had used his Stand, The Space Between, and almost defeated Dianne. After Dianne retreated, and Joanne's wounds were treated, she and Kenna were officially lovers. Jotaro, Jolyne, and Portobello soon arrived back in Morioh.

The next three weeks were likewise calm, but this all changed when The Wall attacked. One by one, five of the members, Beedul Rigby, Elliot Collen, Vitas Grachev, Jim Heatfield, and Tankian Surj had attacked. In this attack, June, Ally, Jotaro, Tenmei, Portobello, Binns, Joanne, Kenna, Jolyne, and Hozier had been transported inside of the sixth member, David Gil Moure's, Stand ability. Everyone was slowly infected by the keywords, and June and Ally died, killing Beedul as a result. Dianne had also managed to kill Vitas and Heatfield. Portobello forgot his keyword and managed to escape Pink Floyd. This was when he fought against Dianne, who had just killed Elliot and Tankian and he got fatally injured. David finished Portobello off, killing himself in the process. Dianne and Greta managed to get away as everyone's souls began to return to their bodies.

Two weeks after, Joanne and the others went to Dianne, destroying her mansion. In the attack, Dianne had fought everyone head-on, killing Binns and Tenmei before accidentally killing Greta. In a rage, she cursed Joanne but was swiftly defeated as Hozier, Jotaro, and Jolyne converged on them. In the last ditch attempt, Dianne killed Joanne but was also swiftly killed by Kenna, bludgeoned to death by Redbone's fists. Then, Kenna had used her ability to give her life to Joanne.

Joanne took in another deep breath as she thought about this. The outcome had left scars on her soul and heart, but she couldn't say that the three odd months that entitled this journey weren't fun. She truly enjoyed all the time she spent with Kenna and the others. She wouldn't forget this journey she had been on, just as she would never forget everyone who had sacrificed themselves for her and the others. These truly were the best people she had met in her life.

With a single tear flowing down her cheek, Joanne held a hand to her heart.

"A part of you will always be with me, Ken."

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Abstract Sky -END-

...

A/N: And that's not only chapter 48, but Abstract Sky as a whole! I want to thank everyone for sticking with me for almost a year and coming back every week to check out the new chapters. Writing this story has been such a pleasure, and seeing just how many people have checked it out is so heartwarming. I've accumulated over 4,000 views this past year and I cannot thank each and every one of you for that. For the chapter title, I chose Good Riddance because the Green Day song is often played at graduations, signifying the end of something. It's also a great song to reflect back and reminisce about what it is that's ending. Good Riddance fits thematically in the stoty because it was the first and last Stand Dianne used. It was what kicked off the events and what evenutally led to the end. This chapter is over twice as long and is probably my best work so far. I really hope this final battle has been climactic enough, I've tried as hard as I could to give everyone their momenets to shine throughout this lengthy battle. I also hope that the bittersweet ending doesn't upset a lot of you. Kenna was always gonna die from the second I created her character. I just wasn't sure about how I'd go about doing it. I at first thought she'd use Redbone to exchange the time in her lifespan to rewind time as a whole to go back before Joanne ever died, but I felt like that idea was a bit much. Kenna exchanging her life for Joanne seemed way more possible given her ability. Also notice that throughout this final battle, every single Stand in the story has been used. Although I am responsible for creating most of these Stands, a few of them were suggestions from my friends. So I want to thank them for the ideas of Vertigo, Thunderstruck, and Uncontrollable Urge! Anyway, this chapter is already wayyyyyy too long as it is so I'll keep the rest brief. I really, genuinely hope you enjoyed my story, and hope you'll come back to it at some point. And if you're wondering if I'm ever gonna make a sequel, I'm not against the idea but don't count on it either. If I ever decided to make a sequal, it'll be a few years down the line. For now, I'm content with how the story ends. I know I sound like a broken record, but I want to thank everyone once again! This has been an amazing journey for me and I hope it's been amazing for all of you as well! Thank you all so much!
