As the thirsty sun hung low on the heated horizon, I walked along the shores of Destiny, my eye catching sight of a familiar young blonde perched at the base of a paopu tree. However, upon closer inspection, I saw that it wasn't just a young blonde that was beneath the tree, but a gorgeous young blonde.

"What'cha drawing?"

"Oh, Roxas!" squeaked the timid girl, pressing her hand up against her heart. "You scared me."

I watched as she carefully picked up her pencil, swirling the dark graphite across the paper like an elegant ballroom dancer.

"Just a few hearts." she answered softly.

A warm smile crept across my face as I slipped my hand into my pocket, removing my very own #2 pencil.

You always had to be prepared when it came to girls.

Namine's eyes followed my hand as I traced a large heart into the sketchbook, taking up the entire page.

"You may know how to draw many hearts, but my heart will always be bigger than yours."

The girl giggled as she slid her fingers across the page. "Well, then my heart is as big as… this tree!"

She leaned back, hugging the tanned bark behind her.

I gazed deep into her painted cornflower hues and grinned.

For some reason, when ever I was around her, I always felt like I could be myself.

"Okay, then my heart is as big as this island!"

As a small tendril of her fresh blonde locks fell forward, she swept it back, trapped in thought. "Tell you what. Meet me back here at 10 o'clock tonight, okay Roxie?"

My eyes widened. Nobody had ever given me a nickname before.

"Okay.", I agreed, watching as she packed up her art supplies.

This was going to be an interesting evening.

After the moon had climbed high into the night sky, I returned to the beach, the waves breaking at my feet. The aroma of the darkened salt waters filled my nostrils as I walked the shores, spotting a fragile figure lying neatly in the patch of sand near by.

"So, what is it you wanted to show me?" I lay myself down besides her, feeling the ocean's misty sprays against the bare soles of my feet.

"There.", she whispered, pointing to the heavens. "The sky will be my heart; not only is it vast in size, but no matter where you go, my heart will always be with you."

I turned to her, absolutely awe struck.

Okay, so I admit it; she beat me.
