Harry/Ginny. A very short account of an interaction between Harry and Ginny.
Four words: The monster of jealousy!
Harry stood in the hallway, glowering sharply at Ginny. On the inside he was just a troubled boy, but on the outside, he looked as if he had swallowed a mountain of rocks. Mere inches from her, Ginny could see the pain, the torment, in the eyes of the boy who lived.
"Harry, are you okay?" She asked tentatively. Just then, Dean emerged from a classroom into the hall, and wrapped his arm around Ginny. "Hi," he said seductively, proving that he must be quite the oblivious one to miss the look in Harry's eyes. Ginny didn't miss it. Getting worried now, she said quietly, "Uh, Dean? I think you should go now."
"Okay." He said, seductively. And with that he was off (seductively), but his actions had left a mark. Just then, Harry clutched his stomach in obvious pain.
"Harry! What is it? Are you alright?"
Twisting his face around his words, he said, "No worries Gin! It's just the monster of jealousy!" He then, leapt away from her and went dashing away.
A few moments later, as Ginny was walking down the hall to her next class, she caught sight of Harry. He looked better, refreshed, chipper. There he was, merrily walking along, but then his eyes met hers. His skin color suddenly turned a horrific shade of green. His face suddenly turned horrifically angry and pained.
He had seen Ginny. The monster within him stirred.
"Harry, what's the matter with you?" Said the confused Ginny. Honestly, that boy had problems.
"Agggh….Gin, I'm sorry, agggh, but every time I see you…! The Monster of Jealousy, it surfaces!"
Ginny stood by passively and watched Harry bumbling around, occasionally teetering into a wall.
"Ginny!" Harry called out. "The monster of jealousy is rearing it's ugly head! Do something!"
"This is ridiculous!" She exclaimed. "If you had just been paired with Hermione, none of this would have happened." With that, Ginny strode away, and Harry was released from his pain, and the monster of jealousy slept once more.
