Chapter 27
Alvin peeks out from behind the bush he and the others are hiding behind and sees Freddy disappear in a flash of fire. He then looks around, sees the other houses, and thinks with dread, "Oh no. Freddy is about to go on a massive killing spree!"
Freddy first appears in the house of the Carson family. He makes his way to the room of Tina Carson, opens the door and walks in.
As Freddy makes his way to Tina's bed, she stirs slightly and says, "Dad, what is it?" She then turns and gasps when she sees Freddy smiling evilly at her.
"I'm your daddy now," Freddy snarls evilly before grabbing her. Tina screams as Freddy stabs her in the gut with his knives. He then slashes her across the face and then the chest.
Freddy watches as Tina quickly dies in a pool of blood. He then says, "Daddy says it's time to go to sleep…forever!", before laughing evilly.
Mr. and Mrs. Carson ran to the bedroom after hearing their daughter scream and scream in horror at the sight of Freddy Krueger standing over their dead daughter.
Freddy then tauntingly waves before disappearing in a flash of fire.
He then appears in the house of the Carpenter family. He looks around and finds the bedroom of Dustin Carpenter.
Freddy turns on the light and Dustin says sleepily, "Turn off that light please."
Freddy responds, "It'll be lights out for you."
Dustin immediately jolts up and yells out, "Mom! Dad! Someone's in my room!"
Freddy runs over and grabs Dustin and says evilly, "No one can help you now," before letting out an evil laugh. Dustin punches Freddy repeatedly, but Freddy is not affected.
Freddy then plunges his knives through Dustin's neck. Just then Mr. and Mrs. Carpenter get to the room and are horrified at what they see: Freddy with his knives through their son's neck.
Freddy then pulls Dustin's head off and Mr. Carpenter says angrily, "You monster! I'll make you pay!"
He runs up to Freddy and starts hitting him repeatedly. Freddy looks back up at him with a wicked smile and says, "What was that? Is that how you'll make me pay for killing this little piggy?"
Mr. Carpenter goes to punch Freddy again but Freddy stabs him in the stomach and then cuts his throat.
Mrs. Carpenter screams and runs for the phone and is able to call the police. Freddy gets to her and slashes her on the back.
She falls to the floor and tries to crawl away, but Freddy steps on her and says, "Prepare to join your brat." He then points with one of his knives and she erupts in flames.
Mrs. Carpenter screams as she burns alive and Freddy laughs.
Outside behind the bush, Alvin tells the Chipettes, Theodore, and Dave, "You hear those screams? Freddy is going crazy! We've got to stop him!"
"We know, but how do we stop this psychopath?", Brittany says with worry and fear.
"I wish I could answer that. We also need to get Simon," Alvin replies.
"We'll get Simon," Jeanette suddenly says. She then continues, "Brittany, Eleanor, and I will go get Simon. You, Theodore, and Dave get back to our house and look after Ms. Miller."
"Okay, just make sure Freddy doesn't spot you," Alvin says. The two groups then head to their destinations.
Meanwhile, Freddy is at another house. He is at the house of the Thompson family and quickly finds the room of Darla Thompson.
He runs in and jumps on top of Darla. Darla quickly wakes up and screams at the sight of Freddy on top of her.
"Never sleep again," Freddy snarls evilly at her before slashing her from chest to abdomen and then uses his knives to gouge her eyes out.
Freddy laughs evilly at his work and disappears in a swirl of fire. He then ends up at Dr. Frankenstein's house and finds the bedroom.
"Hi Doc, let's get down to business. I'll teach you the knowledge that I said you lacked, the knowledge of true fear," Freddy says after going up to the doctor's bed.
Dr. Frankenstein wakes up and gasps at Freddy and says, "No! Not you!"
"Yes, it is me. I'm real, and you're about to be real dead!", Freddy says as he goes to slash the doctor.
Dr. Frankenstein is able to dodge the knives and runs out of the house screaming in fear.
Just as Freddy runs out of the house after the doctor, he is stopped in his tracks by a police siren.
Officers Tate and Atkins get out quickly and point their guns at Freddy.
"Put your hands up right now!", Officer Tate orders.
Freddy turns around and smiles evilly at the 2 cops and says, "I see you're here to join my little bloodbath."
Meanwhile at the Seville house, the Chipettes are trying to arouse Simon.
"Simon, please wake up!", Jeanette says as she shakes him. Eleanor then says, "Freddy Krueger came out of you and now he's killing!"
Simon then begins to open his eyes and asks, "What did you say about Freddy?"
"He came out of you and he's on a killing spree!", Eleanor says frantically.
"What?! He could go after Alvin, Theodore, and Dave! We need to find them! Where are they?", Simon says.
"They're at our house looking after Ms. Miller. She got stabbed by Freddy," Brittany responds.
"We need to get to them before he does," Simon says as he gets up. The Chipettes follow behind him.
With the officers and Freddy, the 2 cops shot Freddy many times but he is still standing and smiling evilly at them.
"I know you're called the long arm of the law, but mine is longer," Freddy says tauntingly. He then stretches out his arm and knocks the guns out of both cops' hands.
Officer Atkins runs up with her baton and hits Freddy on the head, but it was ineffective. Freddy then punches her to the ground and stabs her in the chest.
He then runs over to Officer Tate, grabs him, and throws him through the windshield of the police car. Freddy then pulls Officer Tate out and throws him to the ground.
"You're fired," Freddy says before pointing at the officer and lighting him on fire.
At the Miller house, Alvin, Theodore, and Dave have been tending to Ms. Miller and have bandaged her shoulder.
"Thank you," Ms. Miller says.
"No problem. You need to come with us to get away from Freddy," Dave responds.
"I'll hide here. With my aging bones, I'll just slow you guys down," Ms. Miller says.
"Okay. Please be careful and stay safe," Theodore replies.
Dr. Frankenstein then runs in and says, "That Freddy Krueger guy came after me and he's dealing with 2 cops right now."
"Okay, I guess you'll be coming with us," Dave says.
The doctor then turns to Alvin and says, "I swear, if we make it through this, I'll definitely use my abilities to help people."
"I will hold you to that. Let's go," Alvin replies.
The group runs out of the house and looks around for a place to hide from Freddy.
Theodore then spots Simon and the Chipettes coming out of the Seville home. He goes to shout their way, but Alvin covers his mouth and says, "We don't want Freddy to hear us."
Simon's group quickly goes and hides in a shed in a neighbor's yard while Alvin's group finds a place behind the Seville home and goes to hide there. Unfortunately for them, Freddy catches a glimpse of them and chuckles evilly to himself.
Dave, Alvin, Theodore, and Dr. Frankenstein all crouch behind the house when a raspy voice suddenly asks, "Who are we hiding from?"
"We're hiding from Freddy Krueger," Alvin says. He then realizes the raspy voice is familiar and turns around with dread.
Dr. Frankenstein, Dave, and Theodore also turn around and see Freddy smiling evilly at them. The group collectively scream and go to run, but Freddy grabs Dr. Frankenstein by his shirt and picks him up.
"Help me!", the doctor cries out. Alvin tries to help, but Freddy points with one of his knives and makes a wall of fire erupt in front of Alvin.
"Fear knowledge is what you lack doctor, and that is what really counts," Freddy says before laughing evilly.
He then continues, "Here's the final part of your lesson that you need to learn." Freddy then slashes the doctor through the chest and stabs him in his abdomen.
Alvin and Theodore scream in fright at what they just saw and run with Dave back into their house and lock the door.
Freddy then drops Dr. Frankenstein's dead body and runs toward the front door. The door is locked, but Freddy cuts through the door with his knives and is able to open it.
In the shed, Simon and the Chipettes have heard the screams and cringe in fear.
"What are we going to do?!", Brittany asks frantically.
"I think I have figured out something," Simon says.
"What would that be?", Jeanette asks.
"Freddy mentions fear a lot. What if fear is what Freddy feeds on? We need to not fear him to take away his power," Simon replies.
"That sounds like a good idea," Eleanor says.
"We've got to try it. It might be the only way to save Alvin, Dave, Theodore, and anyone else," Simon claims.
Just as Simon says this, he hears screams coming from his house and he and the Chipettes run over to the house.
In the Chipmunks' room, Freddy has Dave, Alvin, and Theodore cornered. Freddy laughs evilly as he walks toward the group while clicking his knives.
"KRUEGER! Get away from them now!", an angry voice suddenly shouts.
Everyone turns and looks at the doorway and sees Simon standing there with a look of pure anger on his face.
"Oh you're here alone? Are you that willing to die?", Freddy tauntingly asks.
"He's not alone. He's got us," Brittany says as she and her sisters come to Simon's side.
"Oh you're all here. You've come like lambs to the slaughter," Freddy says.
"You used me to get victims. You're pure evil and I realized what you're about Krueger. I don't fear you anymore," Simon says bravely.
Freddy laughs and says, "Come here and prove it!"
Simon runs up to Freddy and starts furiously hitting him. Freddy punches Simon to the floor, then Dave and Alvin grab the 2 baseball bats in the room and hit Freddy repeatedly with the bats.
Krueger goes down to the floor and Eleanor runs up and kicks him in the face. He slashed Eleanor on her shoulder and turned around and knocked Alvin to the floor.
Dave hits Freddy in the head, which knocks his hat off and relentlessly hits him over and over.
"You have terrorized us long enough! We are through with you!", Dave says angrily.
Freddy starts groaning and can't move easily anymore due to the lack of fear.
"I can't move," Freddy says weakly.
"Leave us alone!", Dave shouts.
Freddy then starts fading away from the real world. He then says, "I'll never die! I'll rise again!"
Freddy then cries out in defeat and fades away.
"He's gone!", Simon happily says.
"Yes, we're finally done with him!", Brittany adds gleefully.
"The nightmare is finally over," Dave says as he hugs the Chipmunks and Chipettes.
It seems Freddy Krueger has finally been defeated. Prepare for the final chapter. Please review!
