This short is inspired by a mixed AMV I saw, depicting several characters from RWBY dancing at that psuedo prom. Ozpin, Oobleck, Port and Goodwitch. Ironwood, Penny, a couple of bots. Junior,Melanie, Militia, and Adam. The final one is the kicker, though. Cinder, Emerald, Mercury, and Roman.
I have, for a long time, imagined a morning after scene based on that.
I do not own RWBY.
The Morning After
Ozpin walked slowly through the halls of his schools, taking in some of the effects after the wild party the night before. He had no idea how Miss Valkyrie had managed to lace ever beverage in the gymnasium with alcohol and Light Dust, but the effects had been… shocking.
Weiss Schnee began worshipping her team leader, Ruby Rose. Ruby, unsure of what to do, sat imperiously, allowing the white haired girl to sing her praises for being her friend.
Yang Xiao Long turned down no less than seven young men and women, revealing that, for all her bluster, she was in fact not physically attracted to anyone. She had absolutely no sex drive at all. Boys and girls alike were heartbroken. Or blue balled. It was hard to tell at that age.
Blake Belladonna had given a tearful confession to Ozpin about her criminal past. She didn't know that he was perfectly aware of her former transgressions, so the intent was actually rather touching. He'd have to talk to her soon, to let her know she wasn't in any kind of trouble.
Jaune Arc. Jaune Julius Miles Luna Arc.
Ozpin heaved a sigh. That damn boy had not onestory from the night before. He had several.
First, he had convinced a foreign student to ask out the Arc's crush. He then left and came back in a dress that showed off his legs quite well. He proceeded to explain to any who asked that he'd given his word to Miss Nykos. If no person in this school full of potential heroes had the intestinal fortitude to ask her out, then he'd wear a dress to the dance. In a white and blue dress that brought out the color of his eyes, he lead his team in a dance routine that turned the night on its ear.
And all of that was before the… enhanced punch made its way into his horrifyingly capable hands.
After that, he discovered his Semblance. Aura and Semblance enhancement. It turned out he could use it on himself. He buffed his Aura and Semblance until he was fairly shining with white light, then proceeded to hit Pyrrha with it. She went from being able to manipulate polarity to a Goddess of Metal.
Giving her the Maiden powers at that point would be a downgrade.
Then, still bleeding light, Arc proceeded to, in his own words, 'Bitch slap the racist out of Cardin Winchester.' That done, he gave the same treatment to Ironwood. Specialist Schnee tried to step in, but the new Goddess of Metal stopped her with a wave of her hand.
One moment, Winter Schnee was getting ready to fend off the boy in a dress that was approaching her boss and father figure. The next, she was frozen in place by her own sword floating before her and pointed at her neck while Jaune uppercut General James Ironwood for being as egregiously aggressive and racist as Cardin.
The boy then had a brief emotional breakdown, hugging the general, begging for his father to forgive him for being too weak. That had a good many of the students having their own emotional trauma with distant parents come to light. Soon, the CCT was rife with calls to estranged relatives and tearful reunions made by the dozen.
Afterwards, feeling guilty for only empowering himself and Pyrrha, Jaune gave similar improvements to Nora and Ren. Nora's Semblance became simply immeasurable and could in fact be powered up by the natural electricity generated by her body, should she so choose. Which she did. A lot. Ren, formerly able to make himself and others invisible to the senses of the Grimm, now turned completely undetectable to all forms of standard and digital senses. He was quite lucky that he was able to turn it on and off at will.
Then there was dancing.
So. Much. Dancing.
It was, in fact of point, the dancing that had him moving through the halls of his academy, rather than staying in bed with Glynda.
He stopped in front of the door of one of the foreign students and began knocking.
For Cinder Fall, the entire night had been a complete failure. After seeing the Arc boy dance in a dress, she had one final cup of punch, and planned to sneak off and infect the CCT with a virus that would allow her to hijack the systems surrounding the Vytal Festival and its broadcast. From there, she would manipulate matches and recordings to make people lose faith in the Huntsman of Vale, then the rest of the world, one nation at a time. The world would burn at her fingertips.
Salem had certainly given this mission to the right person.
Then, the combination of extremely strong whiskey and Light Dust hit her stomach and she remembered making out with, in order, Mercury, Emerald, a Beacon student named Velvet Scarlatina, Emerald again, Winter Schnee after the woman had been easily dominated by Pyrrha, Goddess of Metal, then dancing the night away in a series of hip hop and pop dance offs.
Now, with the sun rising, her mouth tasted of fuzzy ass, her underwear seemed to be hanging from the ceiling and Emerald was naked as a jay bird next to her, wearing only a massively satisfied smile on her sleeping face. If the woman was true to herself, the look on her protege's face had never been more attractive than right that moment. She would do almost anything to preserve this memory.
Briefly, a flash of the glowing green eyes of Pyrrha came to her, the knowing in them causing a shiver to go down her spine. Somehow, some way, she knew. Knew everything. And was, for unknown reasons, giving her a chance to… well, Cinder wasn't quite sure what she was supposed to do. Give up? Tell Mercury and Emerald to split away from this mess and pray that Salem never found them?
A gentle knock came to the door of their room, and it sounded like angry thunder to Cinder's throbbing head. She carelessly used the half of the Maiden Powers she'd obtained through dubious means to clothe herself.
The knock came again.
"Yes, yes," She groaned, moving to the door, "What the hell do you-" She froze, seeing the headmaster of Beacon standing before her.
"Miss Fall, may I come in?" Even as he asked the question, the illusion of a choice was quietly destroyed by the man's entrance into the disheveled room. He gave a brief look around, then turned to her with a smile.
"Last night was some experience, wouldn't you say, Miss Fall?" he asked. He held up his personal scroll and began flipping through the video feeds he'd had sent to his device, specifically for this conversation. "It got out of hand fairly quickly. It's not too surprising, considering we are a school for super powerful teens. But just look at this," he pointed the screen in her direction, "Even staff and foreign dignitaries were not immune to the exuberance from last night," on the screen, General Ironwood, Specialist Schnee, Penny Polendina and a robot were dancing in synch until the general stepped forward and began a surprisingly well formed pop and lock routine. He ended it with a flamboyant twirl that turned into the splits, then slid easily back to his feet and moonwalked back into formation.
"General Ironwood it seems, started a dance off with a bartender, his bouncers, and a known terrorist from the White fang," next on the screen, Junior Hei Xiong, the Miltiades girls and Adam Taurus began their own in synch dance until, not Adam, but Junior stepped to the fore, doing a smoothe and unquestionably brilliant Robot dance. This garnered many 'Ooooo's from the audience. "Honestly, we have no idea how Mister Hei Xiong, his entourage, and Adam Taurus made it into the dance, but we were able to apprehend Mister Taurus. He was found sleeping outside Team RWBY's dorm, mumbling about Miss Belladonna," he showed another video of the red haired menace to society being taken away in handcuffs, crying like a newborn at his failed relationship. "Which brings us to you. You see, Miss Fall, under the influence of a combination of Dust, alcohol, and probably more pheromones than a single woman is supposed to absorb in a single night, the lovely, irrepressible, unequaled and unrivaled Glynda Goodwitch," even in her still stunned state, Cinder had to roll her eyes at the clearly infatuated tone of Ozpin, "Challenged you to another dance off. You might remember that myself, Doctor Oobleck and Professor Port all joined in on her line." The screen switched to show the four respectable educators of Beacon Academy performing some of the most lewd and raunchy tandem dance moves possible while still having all of their clothing on. Goodwitch stepped forward from her ranks and started up a breakdancing routine that belonged in an uplifting movie about a Faunus family learning the meaning of life, love and family through dancing.
Cinder actually remembered this part quite well. She had been deeply impressed by Goodwitch's abilities on the dance floor. Of all the staff at Beacon, she was the one she could respect the most.
After the educator's routine ended with her spinning on her head and flipping gracefully back to her feet, Cinder's team stepped up to the floor. Where the professors had been lewd, Cinder's line had been drop dead sexy. Gyrations and thrusts in time with the beat. You could hear some of the teens in the background moaning sporadically. When Cinder Fall finally took center stage, the world got to find out that, yes, the Tango was essentially intercourse in the form of dancing and that, yes, a single person could perform it without a specific partner.
"I fairly think that your performance, and the substances that caused it, are the reason I am in such a good mood this morning, if only indirectly," his smile had a post coital glow about it and Cinder would have pouted if she didn't have some of that glow herself, "Unfortunately, I have to point out something particularly unfortunate about your team." he rewound the video to a little before the woman took the floor, "You see, we have been having the damnedest time trying to figure out why, of all people, Roman Torchwick decided to dance with you and your team. Perhaps you can tell me, Miss Fall," the joviality in the room began to fade, and an aura of conflict impending began to appear. It was so overwhelming that even the sleeping, hungover Emerald could feel it. The girl began to wake, slowly. "Why, exactly, was he dancing with you?"
Cinder looked at Emerald and considered her options for escape. He was on his guard now. Ozpin's staff was in his hands, gripped like a sword. She could probably still use some of the element of surprise. She could use her half of the Maiden Powers and sacrifice Emerald and Mercury to get away. She'd never again be able to attempt something like this, but she would be free to make other plans, fight other battles.
"Cindy?" Emerald whined pitifully, reaching out for the woman she had confessed to the night before.
At the girl's voice, the fight went out of Cinder. She remembered again the knowing eyes of Pyrrha. She thought of another way that might get her out of this, and if it didn't, at least wouldn't leave Emerald at the quite un-tender mercies of Ozpin and his circle.
"Tell me, Headmaster Ozpin," she said, leaving the usual seductive tone out of her voice, "What do you know of the Queen of the Grimm?"
+- End
A/N: I will not be writing anything more for this. This was all just whimsy. If, however, anyone wants to take this and run with it, my permission- not that it's exactly necessary- is given.
Please Enjoy.
