A/N: This is slightly later than I wanted but I don't want to skip s2 of Avengers Assemble as s3 would fit better with s3 of USM so I'll be doing 5 episodes a chapter to get through it plus on the day I uploaded Shinobi I got a sinus infection that left me sneezing and blowing my nose for a couple of days.

Chapter LIII: Clashing Kingdoms.
Last Time.
A-Bomb looked at the others as Hulk spoke up.
"Uh, But for now I'll just leave a camera here So we can do the long-distance thing," A-Bomb said, hitting a button on his belt having a circular camera fly to them from the jet.
"I will keep in touch." She said with a smile before the heroes left through the gates.
"Okay. Check you later, Inhumans." A-Bomb said before turning to Hulk. "So, big guy, got anything to say? Like, 'way to save mankind, Rick!' Or, uh, 'Thanks for introducing us to a whole new race of people!"
Suddenly, the dome came up as they left before the group ran up. "The dome's back up?" Naruto asked, looking at the dome. "What happened?"
"Maximus!"
"Crystal, Crystal!"
"Rick!"
Naruto brought up his comms to show Black Bolt holding his arms out and opening his mouth. "Shit Everybody, back!"
They ran out just as Black Bolt whispered. "Smash."
And had a very loud shock wave destroy the dome. "They're attacking!" Red exclaimed as they got up from the shock wave.
"No, dummy," Hulk replied, looking at the city. "Just saying hello to the rest of the world."
Now.
New York Night.
"Avengers, assemble!"
Shinobi was jumping across a rooftop before stopping as he heard Tony speak in his comms. He then turned to see Iron Man being attacked over Central Park by yellow alien air crafts. Naruto pressed a button on his watch and then ran to the edge of the roof before jumping off. And saw his bike hovering before landing on it and flying to the park.
As he got to the park, Naruto saw Hulk drop on one ship and punch through its hull to pull out wires. "Hate when you party without us."
He then jumped down, and high fives Thor who flew up to crash into another ship, having it explode.
BOOM!
"Oh, this day gets better and better!"
Naruto hit a button on his holo dashboard having guns come out on the front handles before shooting at another ship.
Falcon then dropped Captain America on another who slammed his shield into it. "What's the profile of these hostiles?"
"Drone ships from who knows where." Iron Man replied, shooting at several ships.
"Drones?" Falcon asked, throwing one of his projectiles. "Someone set their invasion fleet on autopilot?"
"Finally found some action, Tony?" Black Widow asked as she and Hawkeye came down on her flying car.
Naruto noticed her bangs had grown out to match the length of her hair before Hawkeye shot one with an explosive arrow having an airplane that was flying near it, blow an engine, lose control, and start plummeting.
"This just got more complicated," Cap said before being knocked off the ship having Falcon grab him just as the plane lost the wing. "We've got a plane to catch."
"I've got it," Thor said before flying after it while Iron Man followed.
"I saw what happened last time you tried to save a jet, Thor."
"That was Hulk's fault." The Asgardian said before coming up to the falling aircraft to grab the broken wing after Iron Man got on the other side to stabilize it.
"Thor! Awesome!"
"Why does everyone love you? I'm a handsome, brilliant, rich guy." Iron Man spoke as they landed the plane.
"I am told it is the hair," Thor replied as he took his helmet off and gave a slight bow.
"Thank you so much!"
"I love you, Thor!"
"Thank you so much!"
"It is the hair." Iron Man said, faceplate coming up. "What about the goatee?"
"Now you decide to fly straight?" Hawkeye asked as they flew behind a large black ship. "Whoa!" He ducked as the yellow ships fired just above them and hit the black ship. "Either that's the galaxy's worst shot…"
"Or they're firing on their own." Widow interjected, glancing back.
"Wait. That's the first one I saw. The lead ship." Iron Man said as he scanned it again, followed by Falcon.
"A life sign! Someone's actually in that one."
"They are not leading. They're running." Cap said as he was held by Falcon while Naruto flew up.
"Maybe they need help?"
"It's an escape ship. Rally around it."
"What if it's some disgusting alien?" Hawkeye asked as he stood up.
"Oh, then you have a date for this weekend." Cap joked as they dodged shots.
"Oh, Cap makes jokes now?"
"Got it!" Iron Man yelled as he got on the side of the ship and was shot off. "Had it."
BOOM!
The ship exploded, having everyone stop. And missed five blinks of light flying out from the explosion. "Lost it."
"Whoever was in that ship could have survived. Big chunks of the hull are still intact. Someone could have survived." Falcon said as Iron Man looked around.
"Maybe, but I can't track this alien metal. Not without a sample. Thor, can you help us out?"
Up ahead, Thor grabbed a ship and broke it before holding the wing. "Is this sample big enough?"
Quin-Jet.
The Avengers stood around a table as Widow flew before Hawkeye looked down. "Hey, question…"
"You can't drive."
"Anyone tell you that you have control issues?" Hawkeye deadpanned before Naruto spoke.
"I would, but-" He stopped as Widow glanced over at him. "Yeah, that's one reason."
Iron Man then scanned the wing before looking up. "This thing's made of dark star composite metal. It's extraterrestrial. I think my dad studied it."
"His work on xeno-metals was my favorite book in high school," Falcon exclaimed, having the others look at him. "Okay, so I wasn't the most popular kid in school. Howard Stark must have been an awesome dad!" He finished looking back at Iron Man
"Awesome scientist. He didn't have much time to be a dad. Too busy saving the world to worry about his people skills." Iron Man explained as they heard a ping.
"Sounds familiar," Hawkeye commented as Iron Man looked over.
"You got a point, circus act?"
"Nope. No point at all."
"Good. Got the location. Let's get to work." They then landed in a forest where a pod crashed. "Be careful here. We don't know how friendly this alien visitor is." Hulk walked over and tore the door off. "Or don't listen to me."
They walked up to see a whimpering Red Skull, with a torn bodysuit.
"Red Skull." Naruto raised an eyebrow as Red Skull turned to look at them, with fear in his eyes.
"Save me."
"Save you? From who?" Cap asked before Skull pointed to the sky.
"Him."
"Uh, anyone else getting weirded out by this?" Hawkeye asked, glancing over to the others.
"He is coming." Skull looked up as they heard the drones fly by
"These drone clowns again? Nothing we can't handle."
Suddenly, yellow robots with gun attachments dropped down.
"You and your big mouth," Naruto said before reaching for his belt and taking out his energy knife before dodging bullets.
Captain America turned to look at Red Skull. "Who's behind this, Skull?"
"The mad titan, Thanos! He's coming to destroy us all!"
"Red Skull's on the run from someone named Thanos? Well, at least now we know who's getting the bill for all this damage." Iron Man said as he shot at a robot while Dowdy and Hawkeye took cover behind a rock.
"Thanos? That's not even a name in the S.H.I.E.L.D. database." Widow said as she shot at another with her stinger.
"You read the entire S.H.I.E.L.D. database? Of course, you did." Hawkeye said with a sigh as Naruto flipped over the rock.
"The name does ring a bell to me."
"Where?"
"Kinda focused on the killer robots!"
"Save me!"
"We got a perimeter around Skull. Cover us and we'll make a break for the jet." Cap said blocking the blasts from Skull.
"Love to, Cap, but these things aren't going down as they should." Iron Man replied as he flew.
"Puny robots!"
Hulk was then hit back towards Thor who spun Mjölnir. "Ha! Felled by a mere machine, Hulk? Watch this."
Thor was shot back as Skull pulled a container out of the wreckage.
"The stone!"
He opened it revealing a red stone. "What've you been hiding from us, Skull?" Cap asked, pulling Skull up. And had the stone fall to the ground before Cap grabbed it. "This is what Thanos is hunting you for?"
"Never touch!"
Cap's arm glowed red and grew to the size of Hulk's, having him scream out. He then saw Thanos using the stone to destroy worlds before his body glowed red and fell to his knees.
"Guys, change of focus. Cap's gone nuclear." Iron Man ordered as he looked down at the war hero.
"Not nuclear, worse. Cosmic." Falcon spoke as he stopped to look down as well.
Red energy then came off him and expanded. "Take cover."
"Why couldn't Skull just bring flowers?"
"He's not so powerful-!" Hulk was sent flying back as the energy field hit him and disintegrated the robots.
"Cap, fight it!" Naruto yelled while hiding behind a boulder as Cap threw the stone to the ground as Widow ran over and looked at the stone before reaching down.
And was stopped by Captain America. "Don't touch that. So much power. If I held it another second..."
"It would have fried your brain?" Iron Man asked as Hulk held Skull.
"What are you looking at?"
"Oh. The power stone." Thor said as he dropped down.
"You know about this thing?"
"On Asgard, they taught us about it at the learning hall. It has immeasurable power, forged from the… Uh, the... Something."
"Something?" They all asked Thor who shrugged.
"I could not be expected to stay in mystical objects class when there were perfectly good trolls to battle." He said as the others stared. "Oh, you all would have done the same."
"I'm detecting another drone fleet entering Earth's atmosphere, Sir," J.A.R.V.I.S. spoke up as Iron Man brought a hand to his comms.
"Great. This Thanos doesn't quit, does he? She. It?"
Cap picked up the container and put the stone back in it before speaking. "I had some sort of vision when I touched the stone. I saw Thanos destroy a planet with this thing."
"If it's that powerful, he won't stop attacking Earth until he gets it back." Widow commented before Falcon spoke.
"That stone's the only thing that stopped those robots. How can we use it if we can't touch it?"
"I think I had just the thing." Iron Man said before they got back into the jet.
Later.
"Project what, now?" Naruto asked Iron Man who had a holo-image of a file.
Project Arsenal
"Project 'Arsenal'. If this data's correct, my dad designed a machine that can handle this kind of energy."
"Great, then what are we waiting for? Let's go get it." Hawkeye said from his seat.
"Small problem. I have no idea where it is. All he wrote was a series of equations, and a nonsense word, 'poteryaniles.'"
"Poteryaniles. Not nonsense, Russian." Widow spoke up from the pilot's seat. "It means, "the lost forest."
"Arsenal. Ja." Skull said as he stood beside Iron Man who pulled away.
"You are so creepy when you're not trying to kill me."
"Naruto, you said, Thanos rang a bell," Cap said to the ninja while turning to him. "Is he from your world?"
"No, when I helped Sam out with his old team, the Guardians of the Galaxy, I saw a list of bounties on their computers. Thanos was on the top of a lot of space authorities most wanted." Naruto explained before hearing Widow speak.
"The lost forest is the site of a gamma reactor meltdown that forced the whole city to evacuate. It's been abandoned ever since. Sounds like your project 'Arsenal' is somewhere in there." She finished before hitting the thrusters.
Later, the Avengers landed in a destroyed city before walking out of the jet. "Let's establish a search grid," Cap ordered as they walked before looking at Iron Man. "Tony, what's this thing look like?"
"Arsenal could be a container, a vehicle, a weapon. Who knows? My dad wasn't so clear on that."
"So, Widow, did you happen to pack our SPF 4,000 gamma-blocking sunscreen?" Hawkeye asked the spy as he held a cuffed Skull, getting Hulk to sigh. "Look, I don't wanna turn into some giant gamma freak." Hulk glanced at the archer before Hawkeye spoke. "Not that you don't make it look good, big guy."
"Widow, why am I not detecting any fallout?" Iron Man asked as he was scanning the town. "Unless… Of course, project Arsenal was sent here to contain the blast." He hypothesized before looking at the tall reactor a mile down the road. "The gamma reactor, it's in there. It's gotta be."
They stopped as they heard an engine roar before looking around. "Huh?"
"Sounds big. I like that." Hulk said with a smirk before a very large spaceship came down out of the clouds.
"Or maybe not," Naruto said as he looked up as well.
"There's big, then there's the size of a flying city." Hawkeye joked as Iron Man put a hand to his comms.
"Could this thing be another drone, Jarvis?" Drones were then shot out of the ship as the A.I. answered.
"The ship is unknown alien metal, though no life signs detected."
"Well, it looks like they've detected our life signs. Get cover!"
The ships shot at the Avengers who ran over or flew up before Iron Man spoke. "All right, Avengers, listen up. Hulk, I need you to…" Hulk clapped his hands, having two crashes from the shock wave. "Thor, you…" Thor hit two more ships, causing them to explode. "Cap, why don't you…" Cap was then dropped onto another ship and slammed his shield into it as Naruto, Hawkeye, and Widow took Skull to the reactor.
"And, uh, just keep doing what you're doing. Project Arsenal better be here, dad." Iron Man said as he flew over and got to a security panel. "Security panel's in Russian. You got this?" He asked Widow before Naruto hit the door with a Rasengan (Spiraling Sphere) breaking it. "That works, too."
"Well, someone's been saving on their cleaning bills." Hawkeye joked at the layers of dust covering everything inside.
"Ever wanted to see an unstable gamma reactor, guys?" Iron Man asked as they walked inside.
"Not really," Hawkeye replied, looking at the green glowing reactor on the other side.
"How long before it blows?" Widow asked while they walked in.
"I don't know what's stopped it from blowing up already. Almost anything could set it off."
"Tony, things are going south out here." They heard Captain America speak up.
"No sign of Arsenal. Buy us more time." Iron Man told him while they heard ships shoot the building and had parts of the ceiling fall.
BOOM!
"Reactor core overload in 60 seconds." They heard a robotic voice speak. "Reactor core overload in 50 seconds."
"Okay, no problem. this thing has gotta have a fail-safe." Iron Man said before pulling a level. And had it snap. "Yeah, that's a design flaw.
"Reactor core overload in 40 seconds." The A.I. said as Naruto saw a silhouette in the reactor., "Someone's in there."
"Not someone, something. It's project Arsenal. That's what's been keeping all the gamma radiation in check for years." Iron Man explained before the A.I. spoke again.
"Reactor core overload in 30 seconds."
"The stone!" Skull yelled out pointing at the container in Iron Man's had
"Skull, I think you're onto something. Hulk, think you can handle some gamma rays, buddy?" He asked, bringing his hand up to his comms.
Hulk then jumped into the building by them. "Puny gamma rays."
"Arsenal's in there. Get this stone to it. It's the only chance we've got." Iron Man ran over and handed Hulk the stone before he jumped into the reactor. "I'm trusting you here, dad."
Suddenly, green energy covered them before shrinking into a robot's hand that had six red eyes. "Project Arsenal back online. Gamma blast contained.
"He shuttled the gamma radiation into... where?" Naruto asked as the robot hopped over to them.
"These readings make no sense."
"Research later, Tony."
"Arsenal, attack," Hawkeye ordered the robot who looked at him.
"Incapacitate invading forces?"
"Yeah, sure. Same thing."
"Error. Unauthorized user."
"Voice-activated. That's a problem." Iron Man spoke before Arsenal looked over to him.
"Voice recognition. Authorized user."
"OK, then. Destroy the attacking ships." Iron Man ordered, having Arsenal nod.
"Acknowledged."
"How are you an authorized user?" Widow asked, crossing her arms under her bust.
"Born leader?"
"(Snorts) That's the funniest thing you've said." Naruto snorted out before they heard explosions and ran out to attack the ship.
"Avengers, assemble! And smack Thanos out of the sky."
Everyone then attacked with their weapons and powers before the ship blew.
BOOM!
"Jarvis found no life forms. Widow, call your S.H.I.E.L.D. buddies for some alien drone clean up." Iron Man said to the spy as he landed.
She sighed, putting her hands on her hips. "Sure. 'Cause Fury loves getting those kinds of calls."
"Nice work, soldier. Your help was extremely appreciated." Captain America told Arsenal who looked over.
"User Anthony Stark issued strategically sound orders. I complied."
"Great, an android that feeds Tony's ego." Back Widow sighed out before Naruto warped his arms around her waist.
"Mission complete?" Arsenal asked Iron Man,
"Yes, mission complete, Arsenal. Thanks, dad."
Avengers Tower.
Tony was testing Arsenal's power on the table in the lab before it fried everything in the room. "Unreal. I can't find a limit to the amount of energy Arsenal can contain."
"Secondary programming, energy conversion, and containment."
"This guy's personality makes Hulk seem warm and cuddly." Hawkeye joked as Hulk glanced over.
"Thanks."
"Engage open user interface?" Arsenal asked sitting up.
"Sure. Why not?"
"Hello, everyone. My name is Arsenal. Pleased to meet you." Arsenal said, his two middle eyes being the only ones on and blue.
"Wait a minute, energy containment's your secondary programming? What's your primary programming?" Tony asked the robot as Arsenal turned to face him.
"To be your friend, Tony."
"Is this a joke?"
"Your father regretted that he didn't have enough time to spend with you. I was initially built as a companion and protector." Arsenal explained as Tony raised an eyebrow.
"My dad built me a best friend?"
"Yes. I am equipped with skills in personal protection, energy containment, flight, and techniques of sports ball recovery."
"The old man wasn't so bad after all," Tony said as Arsenal pulled the wires off of his chest and stood. "Wait, 'sports ball recovery?'"
"Yes, while my hand is covered in a leather mitt."
"Okay, Arsenal, let's go play catch. Who's in?" Tony asked the others while walking out of the lab with Arsenal.
Which version of catch? With battle axes or flaming boulders?" Thor asked as Hulk raised a hand.
"Boulders!"
"I think you got this one, Tony," Cap said, having the two leave.
"Let me tell you how I created the world's first holographic baseball bat."
Russia.
The building beside the wrecked ship collapsed as Thanos walked out of it, dust coming off of him. He then growled before punching the ground, having the other buildings collapse.
A Few Days Later Avengers Tower.
A nude Natasha fell onto Naruto and panted as Naruto wrapped his arms around her waist. "See. Better than listening to Tony brag and show off Arsenal, right?"
"Hmm."
Naruto smiled as he kissed the top of her head before she got up, flashed him her breasts, and got off to walk to the connected bathroom. Naruto quickly followed, glad he put silencing seals in the room as it was going to be put to the test.
A few hours later, the two now in costume walked down the halls before the building shook. They ran to the living room to see a very tall bald man wearing blue and white robes and blue boots had crashed through the window and into the wall.
"The Watcher?" Cap asked before kneeling as the Watcher showed Thanos attacking him in his eyes. "Thanos. He's on the moon. This is an invitation."
"It's a trap," Naruto spoke up as he jumped over the railing. "He knows we have the Power Stone and wants us to come to him."
"Trap or no trap, we've got some avenging to do," Tony said before everyone suited up and they all went to the Quin-Jet.
"The Power Stone is exactly what Thanos wants," Hawkeye spoke up before looking over at Arsenal. "Why are we bringing the robot?"
"A strategic risk. If all else fails, the Power Stone's the only thing that can stop him." Cap explained as he walked over.
"Seriously? Do you guys get all your plans from some "bad idea" playbook?" Hawkeye asked as they made it into space before hearing an alarm.
"Alert. Incoming object." J.A.R.V.I.S spoke up as a large rock was coming towards them.
"I always wanted a moon rock."
The rock hit the Quin-Jet, breaking a wing, and had it crash to land in front of Thanos. He then tore the ship open as the container for the stone fell at his feet before he picked it up. "The Power Stone. Finally, I claim what is mine." Opening it, he saw it was empty. "Empty?"
It suddenly shocked him, having Thanos drop it before a laser cage formed around him that came from the container.
Suddenly, another Quin-Jet landed by him. "Okay, guys. Entering the blue area of the moon. The only place with oxygen up here."
"Two ships?"
"Great job on that trap, Widow," Naruto said, fixing his mask as Black Widow looked over.
"Decoy ship? Booby-trapped treasure? Spy-craft 101."
Naruto smiled under his mask as they walked in front of Thanos before Iron Man spoke. "Fine. But how about we blow up a S.H.I.E.L.D. ship next time? Arsenal, do me a favor. Keep your distance from Thanos."
Thor walked out last with the Watcher before looking at him. "I know your noble race isn't allowed to intervene, so I'll be sure to hit Thanos for you." He then jumped over to join the others in front of the captured Thanos who was punching the cage.
"An inverse force energy cell. I invented it. Cool, huh?" Falcon asked, crossing his arms. "The more you hit it, the stronger it gets."
"Hear me, Earthlings. Your Red Skull stole something from me."
"Our Red Skull? We don't want him." Hawkeye said with a raised eyebrow.
"I will only make one offer. Give me what was stolen, and I will spare your world."
"Yeah. The thing about making deals with evil cosmic conquerors is… Well, it's a trust issue." Iron Man said as Thanos glared.
"So be it. What happens next is on your head." He grabbed both Hulk and Thor's arms and pulled them into the cage, shocking them until it broke. "Human technology is child's play… For a Titan."
"Offensive pattern delta-niner," Cap ordered before Naruto dashed ahead and hit the Titan in the chest with a Rasengan (Spiraling Sphere.)
Only to push him back several feet before he punched Naruto back into the Quin-Jet, having it spin back. Groaning, Naruto pushed metal off of him and sat up. "Should have gone for the head." Shaking his head, he saw only Thor, Hulk, and Cap fighting Thanos before glancing back to see the others minus Iron Man and Arsenal going to the Watchers building.
"Feel the force of Mjölnir, villain!" Thanos hit the hammer to the ground before trying to pick it up. "You are not worthy.
"If I can't hit you with the hammer…" Thanos grabbed the Asgardian and lifted him. "Then I'll hit the hammer with yo-!"
He stopped as Naruto in his red chakra cloak tackled him and Naruto tackled him around before crashing into the building to see Arsenal having a scope on his cannon that came out of his face before shooting Thanos point-blank sending him back into a wall.
Arsenal took the scope off and closed his face before turning. "Tony, I believe the mission is complete."
"Couldn't be more complete." He replied before they heard Thanos laughing.
"You thought I'd come for the Power Stone…" They looked to see him hold up his right hand showing five holes in it. Without a way to contain it? Behold the Infinity Gauntlet."
He then had the gauntlet glow red before pulling Arsenal towards him and then had Iron Man tackle the Titan. "Hey, that's my birthday present!"
Thanos grabbed the armored hero and held him up before squeezing. "This armor will be your coffin." Arsenal jumped over only for Thanos to grab him as well and threw Iron Man away before pulling the stone out of Arsenal and putting it in the gauntlet in the spot on top of the hand before a wave of energy shot the Avengers back. "Avengers, you rejected my offer. I shall not spare your world."
He then flew up through the ceiling as Hawkeye groaned. "Any more pages in your bad idea playbook?"
"We're never out of options. Falcon, check The Watcher's data. I refuse to believe the power stone has no weaknesses." Cap ordered as Falcon went to the computer and put up multiple files.
"Doesn't look like it, Cap. That thing is practically indestructible. I'd be geeking out on its power readings if it didn't mean the end of the world."
"Then what about his Infinity Gauntlet?"
"No way, Cap. We'd need a massive amount of energy. Like 10 megatons." Falcon explained as Arsenal stood up.
"I can access that kind of energy. I absorbed Grim Reaper's missile." He said reminding those from a mission he and Tony had in the morning. He then had a hologram of a man who looked like Tony in a suit and a mustache.
"To protect you, Arsenal shuttles excess power into a parallel dimension."
"Play the rest." Iron Man ordered as another angel of the hologram played.
"If he had to, he could bring the power back, but that would obliterate him."
"That doesn't work for me." Iron Man said as Naruto looked over.
"So you would doom the planet to save one robot?"
"He's right, Tony," Cap said looking over. "I know it's not easy, but Earth comes first."
"I was created to do one thing, Tony," Arsenal spoke up, turning his head. "Protect you. Permit me."
"All right. Let's do this."
"It won't be easy. We need a live reading while the Power Stone's in use." Falcon flew back over before Hawkeye looked behind him.
"The Watcher's got some souvenirs from Thanos' homeworld. These will make him cranky."
They looked to armored suits the size of Iron Man's largest before Hawkeye got in one having purple clear armor covering it and a crossbow forming on its right arm.
Outside, Thanos, who was flying to Earth, stopped as he saw the Quin-Jet flying towards him before he stopped and aimed the gauntlet at it.
Only to get attacked by Hulk and Thor in the suits, Hulks having green surround him, while Thor had a hammer for a right hand. "Titan weapons. They didn't help the Titan army when I destroyed them."
"But this time, you're fighting the Avengers!"
Naruto in a suit dropped down before having a kunai on his robot's wrist slash at Thanos while Capo threw a holo shield "Your persistence is amusing. Why do you waste my time with your futile efforts?" He said as he turned to see Arsenal and Iron Man.
"You say 'futile,' I say 'genius.'"
Arsenal then glowed blue before energy came off him and hit Thanos.
BOOM!
"Goodbye, Arsenal."
Later Avengers Tower.
Tony put the head of Arsenal that the Watcher found and hooked him up to the computers.
"Not sure how much sleep I'm going to get knowing Thanos is still out there somewhere. Blasted halfway across the universe." Falcon said, looking at readings of Thanos flying through the universe.
"Not worried about Thanos, as long as the Power Stone's blown to bits," Tony said before Falcon walked back over.
"You think you can bring Arsenal back?"
"Won't quit until I do."
A Week Later.
Shinobi sighed as a female reporter from the Daily Bugle was interviewing them after getting the key to the city. She's Caucasian with short blonde hair, blue eyes, and wearing a green business dress.
"Is my armor on straight?" Iron Man asked as he was the first one up.
"Welcome, I'm Meagan Mclaren, and sitting across from me, is none other than the invincible Iron Man himself, Tony Stark.
"'Invincible' is a tad overblown. I'll also accept invulnerable, indomitable, and irresistible." Iron Man said before spinning a large gold key.
"Tell me, what were you feeling as the Mayor declared 'Avengers' day' at the parade? He even gave you the keys to the city."
"Well, honored, of course. You know, it's nice when my hard work gets noticed… I mean 'our' hard work." Iron Man finished as Hulk stared at him.
Then, Cap sat down to hold the key. "Tell me your thoughts on the festivities, Captain."
"What can I say? We do what we can when we can. And we do it with pride."
After going through the others, Meagan interviewed Thor last. "So, Hulk says he's the strongest. Thoughts?"
"Ha! Hulk is a worthy competitor, but I think we all know how any competition would end," Thor replied, tapping Mjölnir in his palm.
And was then tackled out of the building by Hulk who was still pissed when Meagan said Thor was stronger. "We've got to get stronger walls." Shinobi aid looking down at the fight
"Avengers, assemble." Iron Man sighed out as they all went out the window, Naruto holding Widow. And all missed Loki coming up in Meagan's reflection.
"Fight on, brother! Let's lose the competition that burns in you! Show us the great warrior of Asgard!" Loki then used a stone to attack a helicopter as a storm formed around them.
Once noticing the helicopter, Hulk jumped up to catch the helicopter and landed, having the two men inside run out as the disguised Loki ran up holding a camera. "Tell me, is this the same competition that turned your brother, Loki, into an outcast?" He asked Thor who shook his head
"Hardly. Loki and I lived to compete as children. I do not know when that changed for him."
"Maybe it was never as 'friendly' as you thought, but Hulk, you were incredible! You're a hero!"
"Come again?" Iron Man asked from behind Loki.
"Aye! We are all heroes!" Thor said as Loki looked over.
"You may have lightning, and a giant block of stone on a wood stick, But you're no Hulk."
"Hear that, Goldilocks? Not Hulk." Hulk taunted, grabbing Thor by the cape and had electricity surround them.
"Power down, Thor! This isn't the place." Cap said before Naruto looked over at Thor.
"Hulk, stop taunting him."
"Just playing," Hulk said with a shrug as Thor turned around.
And had wind push his cape over his head.
"Hulk! You dare?" Thor then called lightning as he flew up in the air. "Take heed! I am no fool, Hulk! But what I am is mightier!"
He then flew down, having Hulk grab his hammer. "Show me."
"You guys, knock it off. This isn't Asgard. Your constant competition puts people at risk and has got to stop." Naruto yelled running up to them.
"The only way for it to stop is to finally answer the question on everyone's mind. 'Who's stronger, Thor or Hulk?'" Loki said as Naruto sighed before Falcon spoke.
"Is she trying to destroy New York, or what?"
"These warriors are bent on battle. If there was only a place that they could pursue the glory of combat without the worry of inflicting damage."
"Does she sound like someone we know?" Naruto asked Widow before Thor spun Mjölnir.
"Agreed, caster of news. Heimdall! Portal!" He called the portal before looking at Hulk and missed the purple smoke at the top. "Come, Hulk! There are many arenas for glorious battles in Asgard. We shall lay claim to who is the strongest once and for all!"
"Lead the way."
Naruto threw a kunai at Loki when he picked up Thor's helmet before Loki deflected it away. "It's simply precious seeing your rodent wheel excuses for brains spin endlessly."
"Loki, what did you do with Hulk and Thor?"
"Oh, they're on a one-way trip to the afterlife. After all, only the strongest belong in Valhalla. Let's see how mighty you are without your mightiest!" Loki taunted jumping in the portal.
"So, are we talking Valhalla, as in…" Hawkeye trailed off before Cap glanced back.
"As in where Asgardian warriors go when they fall in battle and don't come back.
"Heimdall! Portal!"
Naruto was looking at the scorch mark before sighing as he heard Hawkeye.
"That'll only work if you're an Asgardian… Or maybe…" Naruto trailed off holding out his hand. "Leviathan!"
A portal opened up before Naruto's ax came in his hand before he held it up. And lost his balance as the ground shook just before skeleton warriors came out of the ground via a portal.
"Something tells me this isn't just a renaissance fair."
Just then, Loki came out and smiled. "Come, Avengers. For Loki, the King of Earth has declared war upon you."
"King? Looks like we didn't get that memo." Naruto said throwing his ax after putting the strap on and called it back to him.
"I thought Valhalla was supposed to be full of great warriors? These guys seem pretty dead to me, huh?" Hawkeye said before the skeletons that they took down reformed.
"As dead as that joke. Head in the game!" Naruto said, swinging his ax at another skeleton beheading him.
"It saddens me you don't see the humor in what you just did."
"What makes you think I don't?" Naruto asked before throwing the ax.
"Enough with the jokes! Cut this off at the source. Get Loki!" Iron Man ordered as the Falcon flew over.
"Way ahead of you, Tony. Dodge this!" He attacked with his wings having Loki form a shield around him.
"You foul twit!"
"Jarvis, we need answers. Did you complete the scans of the Asgardian archives?" Iron Man asked the A.I.
"Affirmative, Sir. According to law, whoever commands the hunting horn of Hela, Queen of the fallen commands the army of Valhalla."
"So, Loki stole an afterlife army?"
"Negative, Sir. The horn must be bestowed." JARVIS answered him.
"He got her to give him the horn? Let's put a quick end to Loki's musical career."
"Such a pathetic display. With your two strongest gone, you barely hold your own." Loki taunted as he dodged the other's attacks.
"What's the end game this time, Loki? Become King of the undead? Or maybe introduce battle horns as the next hot fashion accessory." Iron Man asked as Naruto threw his ax before it was thrown back.
"Growing up with my brother was constant competition, everything a contest, everything a fight.
"So this is what? A sibling rivalry thing?"
"Rivalry? I hardly had a fighting chance. I am the son of a frost giant, Odin only took me into his court so his son would shine brighter." Loki then shot magic at Iron Man who flew around. "I've finally found a way to use my brother's competitive nature against him. The last laugh, mine."
"Face facts, Loki. Your army's gone. You're outgunned. And outmatched."
"Yet, outwitted? No." Loki said before pulling a white horn and blew it, having the army form into one large one. "The problem with you mortals is that you rarely grasp the concept 'eternal.'"
"I think the Mayor's gonna ask for the keys to the city back." Iron Man sighed as the large warrior roared and walked towards Avengers Tower.
"Oh, how I love watching as my new subjects flee in terror. Avengers tower. Onward! Every King needs a castle." Loki said as he flew up and landed on the warrior's shoulder.
"I forgot how much he loves to hear himself talk," Falcon said as they all got on flying cycles and flew to attack the warrior.
"It's all about pressure points. I got this!" His arrow just made a hole in its stomach. "Man... Never thought I'd miss hearing the word 'smash.'"
"It's hollow. Explosions do nothing. We need a well-placed implosion." Widow said as she flew beside Naruto.
"You wouldn't happen to have something that could do that, would you?" Falcon asked the spy.
"Never leave home without it."
"Want us to get him for ya?" Naruto asked as Black Widow looked at him.
"I need a path."
Naruto smiled at his lover and flew at one of the legs throwing explosive tag kunai on it, having them explode as Widow flew to the damaged leg and flew in the hole just as it closed up.
"Tony! I'm going to set the charges right above the tibia.
"Widow, where are you?"
"Looks like somewhere in the Medial Meniscus." Widow replied as the others got hit by a swipe.
"I can't remember anatomy class, Widow. I don't know where that is." Falcon groaned before hearing Naruto.
"The right leg and knee joint!"
A small explosion tore the leg as Falcon flew down. "Now that I understand! Gotcha!
"A valiant effort, but what's dead cannot be killed!" Loki taunted before blowing the horn just as Black Widow tackled him.
"I hate encores."
"Just then, Hulk and Thor jumped down from a portal with a curvaceous woman dressed in a green bodysuit that's green with dark green lines, fingerless gloves, and heels. She also has a dark green helmet with long crooked horns and a cape. She also has light green skin, green glowing eyes, and dark green lips.
"Loki."
"We had a deal! The greatest warrior for the horn!" Loki said to the woman
"I am a queen of my word, trickster. But you go too far." Loki tried grabbing the horn, only for Hela to have it fly into her hands. "Uh-uh. This is a fight for you, and you alone."
"Sup?"
Loki turned to see the Avengers standing behind him. "It matters not!"
"Stay back. This is our fight." Hulk said as he and Thor attacked Loki, and was beaten.
"This might be your mightiest move yet, brother... Turning my known competitive nature against me and showing it as a weakness. I see now my nature has often wronged you. I seek your forgiveness and mercy."
"Hmm... no. Do you ask for mercy? You've come to the wrong Asgardian!
"Yield!"
"Yield!"
"I, Loki, have finally bested the Odinson, and you ask to surrender? Oh, you truly have learned little, fool." Loki taunted as Thor smirked while on the ground.
"Oh, I've learned more than you know, Loki."
"It is decided," Hela said before blowing the horn. "A great warrior I sought. And a great warrior I shall have. Welcome to the life of eternal battle, Loki!"
The tall warrior grabbed Loki and walked to the large portal that formed. "No! No! Brother!"
Lok went through as Hela turned to Thor. "Odinson, never again sully my kingdom with your visage until you are meant to."
She then went into the portal as Naruto stared up. "If that's waiting on the other side, death just got less scary."
He was then elbowed by Widow before smiling and wrapped his arm around her waist.
A Few Days Later; Night, Avengers Tower.
On the rooftop, a young man with long brown hair was messing with the wires in a box. He has goggles, and a half-mask on with a black bodysuit, boots, and metal left arm with a red star on the shoulder.
He then used his left arm to hack into the security feed and looked around before seeing Widow talking to Skull who was in a cell.
In the lab, Tony was working on Arsenal's head as Falcon stood behind him. "There are no blueprints left for Arsenal's assembly, let alone the AI programming. Basic motor functions work, but I can't tell if it's residual reflex or budding intelligence. What do you think?" Tony turned to see Falcon in thought. "You all right, Sam?"
"Yeah. Maybe it's dumb, but Cap and I did a few missions together, awesome ones. I was thinking he might want to train together, like Hawkeye and Widow."
"Or me and the robot head."
"But Cap wasn't hot on the idea," Falcon spoke as Tony smirked.
"Doesn't surprise me. He was frozen in ice for decades. Anyway, you know what happened to his old partner Bucky, right?"
"I know he didn't survive the war. Is there more to it?"
"Yep. But if you want the details, ask Widow. She's memorized all those old files." Tony replied before going back to working on Arsenal.
Both missing a shadow in the large vent in the wall. "Thanks, Tony."
Falcon then left, missing a rope wrap around Tony's leg shocking him unconscious as the man from the roof walked in. He then walked into the living room and threw a gas grenade at Hulk's, Thor's, and Hawkeye's feet putting them to sleep before coming across Shinobi. "You did pretty well getting through the security."
The man then dashed and threw a punch that Naruto blocked, wincing as it was his metal one. The man then brought out a knife and swiped at Naruto who leaned back before disarming the man and threw several punches before ending with a knee strike. The man shook his head before dropping several flashbangs and then slammed Naruto's head into the wall, and cracked it.
Later, Black Widow shocked him awake, having him groan. "What the hell was that for? I had my head slammed through a wall that's built to hold Hulk's punches."
"If done napping, we've got a Skull to bust." Widow said as Naruto got up.
"You need to work on your bedside manners. They suck!"
"I thought you liked it when I suck?"
"Don't turn this around," Naruto said, holding his head.
They then walked out on the deck as Iron Man, and Falcon in the Quin-Jet landed. "So much for my quiet night in the lab."
Widow crossed her arms before she spoke up. "The question now is, 'Where's Skull?'"
"And Cap."
Later, they caught up with Cap who was on a train that hit its brake as it came up to a destroyed part in the tracks. "See? This is why I hate public transportation but love flying cars." Hawkeye joked as he shot two arrows with a rope connecting them as Thor and Hulk grabbed it, jumped off, and pulled back as they landed on the tracks.
"This reminds me of wrangling herds of wooly foxclores!"
Iron Man flew to the hole and caught the front before pushing it back as Hulk tore the back off. "Thanks, Iron Man!"
"Don't thank me for the rescue, thank me for not doing a 'gotta catch a train' joke. Just all in a day's work for the Avengers."
"How did you find me?" Cap asked Falcon who shrugged.
"I hacked into your ID card and triggered a distress beacon."
"You bypass my security protocol?"
"Cap, the word 'password' is not a strong password," Falcon said before Cap turned as Widow walked up.
"I planted a GPS tag on Skull when we captured him, but Winter Soldier must have disabled it." She said as Naruto walked up, remembering Widow telling him about Cap's WWII partner that he thought he lost, but Skull found him and brainwashed him while experimenting on him as well to turn him into the ultimate soldier. "Think you can bring it back online?"
"On it."
"Remind you of anyone you used to pal around with, who later got turned into a cybernetically enhanced mercenary and kidnapped Red Skull?" Iron Man asked Cap as he walked up.
"What happened to Bucky is my fault. That means it's my fault if we lose Skull and the only shot we have at saving Earth."
"You want to blame yourself for something, blame yourself for letting the past keep you from kicking butt alongside kid genius here. Or take the blame for eating Hulk's guacamole, because he's gonna smash me for that." Iron Man said before they heard a beep.
"Found him! Missile silo in New Jersey."
Hawkeye then opened Widow's trunk and picked up a jet pack. "Nice jetpack!"
And had Captain America take it. "Thanks, soldier." He then quickly put it on and flew off. "You heard him, let's move!"
"Aw. Jetpack…"
Later, they flew over a city before multiple missiles flew up in the sky. "Those are heavy payloads headed here and for Europe. They're state-of-the-art. You need to take out the thruster, then the detonator within a half-second. It's a two-person job." Falcon then flew up to one as Naruto on his motorcycle followed with another.
Falcon quickly dispatched him as Naruto created a clone that detonated theirs. "Cap and Falcon, you take the Atlantic, we'll take the locals. Avengers, assemble!" The Avengers each attacked a missile as Cap got on one that had Skull and the Winter Soldier on it.
After fighting his old partner, Winter Soldier cut through the missile before jumping off and had a wingsuit come out before saving Skull and taking the rocket out.
A Few Days Later, Harbor.
"You sure this is the one?"
Shinobi asked as he and Black Widow were on top of a building and she was looking at the crowd with binoculars. And he was behind her staring at her ass.
"You read the dossier?"
"Yeah, of course. Stakeout, in and out, no problem." Naruto said as Black Widow looked around.
"You and I both know there's nothing small with HYDRA." She said before seeing a Caucasian man and woman walk into an alleyway beside them. "These are our targets."
She jumped down in front of the two and aimed her stingers at them. "The package, hand it over."
Naruto then dropped down beside her. "You sure they're the ones?"
"Didn't you-?" Widow stopped as the couple's faces opened to reveal HYDRA robotic ones.
And had another Naruto drop down between the two, slamming kunais in their heads. "Come on… I did read the dossier." He said pulling his kunais up revealed he had wind chakra coating them. "Did we get to them before the sale?" He asked as she opened the suitcase they had. She picked up a sun hat, flipped it over, and showed a green serpent-themed crown. "I guess we did."
She scanned it and sent the picture to Tony who replied it was the Serpent Crown, and that it was similar to the crown Doom used to control Midgard's serpent.
"Meaning this thing is probably used for the same or another creature," Naruto said as Widow picked up cruise tickets.
"I have an idea."
Later, Naruto wearing mirrored sunglasses, faded jeans, and a Hawaiian button shirt had a suitcase walking in the crowd before coming up to the back a fair-skinned woman with long red hair pulled in a ponytail, light blue T-shirt, and tight jean short shorts.
"Excuse me miss, I'm looking for-!"
"Boo!"
The woman turned around revealing she's Natasha with blue lens sunglasses. "Heh! Couldn't tell it was you."
"That's the point, dear." She replied, kissing him before turning to get her suitcase roller and stiffened as Naruto pinched her ass.
Throughout the cruise, Naruto did the activities as Natasha was looking for the person who was going to buy the crown from HYDRA before they went to their room. "Hey, look I kept my cover," Naruto said as she argued with him all day. "I mean what's going to tip them off? Me who did activities, or you who just scanned people's glasses?"
"Did you even notice the guy following us?"
"Yeah," Naruto said, throwing her his glasses and she saw mirrors on each end on the inside. "That gave me eyes on the back of my head. We got a little time, wanna have some hot ocean sex?"
Knock-Knock!
Before she could answer, there was a knock at the door. She opened it to see a middle-aged Caucasian man with sunglasses and a bucket hat.
"Can we help you?"
"Sorry, I may have made a mistake."
He started walking before she leaned out the door to whisper "Wait… Hail HYDRA."
The man stopped before turning back. "I am prepared for the transaction. Show me the crown first."
They walked in where Natasha opened the case before the man gave her another. "The payment is here."
Naruto stood before seeing a hole open in the suitcase. "Natasha, look out!" Naruto grabbed his lover and jumped back as green mist came out as the man grabbed the crown and fled. "You're welcome."
They took off after the man before they got to a railing where the man turned into an Atlantean and jumped in the water. "I got scuba gear." Naruto hit his chest and had his underwater suit form before throwing Natasha, one who had a black form-fitting scuba suit with her logo on the chest and top of the mask before they dived after.
"Could it be Attuma?" Naruto asked as they had jets on.
"He is HYDRAs former ally from the Cabal." She replied as they got to a trench. "Widow to Avengers."
"Can't talk, fighting." Iron Man replied. "Just tell me you did not lose that crown!"
"Still insight," Naruto said as they hid behind a rock wall where he saw the Atlantean in front of another group led by a female Atlantean.
She has long green hair in a ponytail, two bangs framing her face that reached her shoulders. She also has a black eyepatch over her left eye that has an X on it and a white cape. She's also wearing a gold and black armored bustier leotard combo that showed her cleavage with shoulder-length gloves and thigh-high boots.
"OK… I know I've been busy but when did Attuma get hot?"
"That's Lady Zartra. Attuma's high advisor."
They flew over as Zartra saw them, and put the crown on having her eyes glow green before a large whale with arms and legs came out of a cave, eyes also glowing.
"Giganto."
Giganto started sucking water in before Naruto was pulled in while Black Widow held onto a rock as she called the Avengers. She dodged Giganto before Naruto appeared beside her just as the Avengers, all but Thor and Hulk having scuba suits on with Thor and Hulk just having a mask.
Each group fought each other for several moments before Hawkeye knocked the crown off Zartra before Widow got the crown. "You are Avengers?" Zartra asked before explaining she wants to overthrow Attuma fr peace with the humans.
"Stand down." Widow said before an eel grabbed the crown and swam over to Attuma who put the crown on.
Only for Naruto to tackle him and grab the crown before tossing it back. Zartra got it and had Giganto attack Attuma's group into retreat before Hawkeye trapped Attuma.
"Thank you, noble Avengers," Zartra said, taking off the crown and handing it to Naruto.
"We'll make sure no one uses this. And I know Attuma has a daughter, try talking to her, maybe she'll help. And don't hesitate to call us for help."
Zartra nodded as they each went their separate ways.

This is slightly later than I wanted but I don't want to skip s2 of Avengers Assemble as s3 would fit better with s3 of USM so I'll be doing 5 episodes a chapter to get through it plus on the day I uploaded Shinobi I got a sinus infection that left me sneezing and blowing my nose for a couple of days.
