Ron returned with the cloak and the mirror, Lupin was against the idea but Sirius was all for it and Harry…. Harry was desperate
"Moony please!" Harry said, "You need me to hear it… It is important to us…"
"Dumbledore already knows the contents of the prophecy…" Lupin said "If there was something he needed us to know, he would have told us…" He said with finality
It was going to be risky in Umbridge's office Draco knew that. He also knew everything the golden trio had been up to in past few years. He knew exactly how it felt to be constantly underestimated by adults, to be constantly coddled and told to stay out of things. He also knew that the marauders themselves had been up to enough and more mischief during their time in school. He was supposed to be guarding the door but these Nobel Gryffindors were not going to get anywhere like this… However before he could say anything he heard Hermione say
"You are being a Hypocrite… You have done much worse at school, from secret passageways to endangering an entire village. We have the map, if we wanted we could have snuck out to Hogsmead and used the floo at Hogs-Head to go directly to the Ministry and create a ruckus there forcing you to come and maybe even have evil Tom show up to get Harry and then force the war to start before any of us are ready! But we didn't do that!We came to the adults!" She was sick and tired of being the only one seeing reason. Hermione continued ranting this time without screaming…"Also I'd like to add that Dumbledore has been avoiding your so called saviour all year and he didn't even tell any of you about the Horcuxes…" the more truths she told the more clinical her voice got and Draco couldn't help feeling proud of her. He wondered if anyone had told her about Magical Law and a career she could have in it…
Hermione now dangerously calm said "What was Dumbledore expecting? For 3 kids in their teens who have not even been taught one year of DADA properly… sorry Lupin but it's true you didn't even set the paper for the finals… to go out and battle a Dark Wizard and his army all by themselves because of some stupid prophecy? And then what? What if we die or worse Harry dies? Is it a sacrifice for the greater good? Will this have been worth it? How can you follow a man so blindly? Especially one who refuses to reveal any plans or suspicions he may have to anyone… Even a wizards duel requires a second, who's Dumbledore's second in the order? Not you, or you… Then it must be McGonagall, but she didn't know anything either… oh right… I'll tell you who it is… It's Snape. He's the only one who knows and I bet you until we told you even He hadn't brought up anything in the order meetings… am I right? I guess we're not so different from the Death Eaters after-all!" She snapped with venom she didn't know she had!
Sirius was shocked to see Hermione like this, but he was throughly amused to see Lupin schooled.
"So now, I'll ask again, will you help us? Can Harry come through the floo?" Hermione said her tone almost icy
Lupin just nodded.
"Great now that all that's been sorted, Harry who's floo are you going to use?" Sirius asked
"Umbridge's, that's the only one not in use at the moment… Well see you in about 30 mins…" Hermione answered and then pocketed mirror effectively hanging up on the 'adults'
"That was Bloody brilliant Hermione!" Ron said and then continued "harsh… but brilliant… It felt like you were channeling mum…"
Draco and Blaise just gave Ron a disgusted look and Hermione just scowled at him
"Potter get out and you get in bed…" Blaise said to Ron
"Why?" Ron asked confused
"We're going to Glamour you to look like Harry a bit so that incase madame Pomfrey comes on rounds she doesn't think anything is amiss…." Draco said in the most patronising tone possible
"Oh, that's smart… Thanks…" Hermione said
"No one does deception better than a Slytherin" Draco said with a smug look on his face
Once Ron had black messy hair and had tucked in, Draco and Blaise left with Harry. They decided it was best if Hermione waited here to ensure Madame Pomfrey didn't look under the covers.
"Be safe and listen to it carefully, every word counts" Hermione said hugging Harry "Don't get caught…" She whisper shouted at the boys. Draco gave her wink over his shoulder as they disappeared round the bend

Lupin changed and got ready to take Harry "I wish I could go…" Sirius said whining
"You know you can't there is still a price on your head…" Lupin said
"Did you find out why Kreacher was hovering?" Sirius asked
"Apparently I'm a foul loathsome creature that is besmirching the very hallowed grounds of the black home… " Lupin said…
"So no…" Sirius asked smirking
"He forgot to add hypocrite to the list of things I am…" Lupin said sulkily
"Aww… Someone hates not being their best students favourite professor…" Sirius teased
"I still think this is a bad idea…" Lupin said
"Tonks is on guard tonight…" Sirius said with a knowing smile
Lupin said nothing but he seemed to be a little less upset about this whole thing.
They were waiting by the floo when it roared to life and Harry tumbled in dusting the soot off. He hugged Sirius first then Lupin smiled and hugged him to. It was impossible not to see James in his face and no one could stay mad at James.
"Thanks again for doing this…" Harry said "And I'm sorry about Hermione…"
"Don't be… She was right, we're the marauders. This is what we do!" Sirius said smiling and turning into a dog
"Oh no… not happening…" Lupin said
But the Black dog just wagged his tail making puppy eyes and running around in circles
"Fine, but you don't change back until we are back in the house…" Lupin said sternly
The dog barked as if to say okay. The floo roared to life once again and they were gone.
Kreacher sulked out of the shadows where he had been watching everything. He then apparated to the Malfoy household and went straight to Narcissa Malfoy.

Harry picked up the orb and nothing happened. He then pocketed it and the left for #12 Grimmauld Place. Once there, they got back, Tonks was the first to voice her opinion.
"This is a bad idea… Bringing it out of the Ministry… it's not safe anymore" Tonks said
"This place is safer than the ministry…" Sirius said
"They might notice it's gone…" Lupin said
"Let's get Ron and 'Mione on the mirror as well… maybe they know how to make it work…" Harry said
Blaise and Draco were sitting with Ron and Hermione. Luckily for them Madame Pomfrey seemed to have decided against investigating the whispers in the infirmary so they could all see what was going on.
"This is what I got…" Harry said showing them the orb
"Wow! Is that a real orb from the hall of prophecies… that is is just wow…. " Blaise said awed
"We take a boat ride to the fountain of youth - nothing… He sees a glowing orb and he's turned into a Hufflepuff…" Draco whispered into Hermione's ear causing her to smile and roll her eyes at him
"It's beautiful… so what do you do with it?" Hermione asked
"You smash it of course…" Blaise said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world
"There you go Harry, you finally get to break something on purpose…" Ron said
"Wait!" Hermione said "What if Vol… evil tom sees it, what if as soon as you break it he pulls you away?" She said
Harry looked at her seriously. Even he was worried about the possibility. "Okay… let's not break it yet… Blaise are you sure there is no other way?" He asked
"Not that I've read about and I've read a lot…" Blaise said
"I think you should leave it there for now… Sirius and Remus and the rest of the order can keep it safe… You need to get back here. In case you have another episode at least you will be in Hogwarts." Ron said
"Yes Harry, this has been thankfully uneventful… I think it's best for you to get back…" Lupin said handing him the floo powder bowl. Harry nodded and returned to Hogwarts as the sun began to rise.
