Jordan- 13

It's been a couple of days since Hank had sent Jordan to New York to be with Olivia. Only Hank knew where she went, he didn't tell anyone where he sent his daughter. Alvin had a pretty good guess but he wouldn't betray his friend.

Hank was working trying to find this guy, Jordan finally had the courage and sent him a sketch of the guy. He came out of his office, he was in an extremely foul mood since sending his daughter away. Everyone made sure to steer clear of him. When he exited his office they all looked to him.

"We got a sketch of the shooter," Hank told his team. He taped the picture on the white board.

The sketch was of an adult male, he was tall, he was bald, his eyes were an apple green color, he had some facial hair and it looked to be a light blonde color. Hank glared at the sketch. He was gonna hunt this son of a bitch down and get his baby back.

"I'll run the sketch through the database and see if I get something," Adam spoke quickly.

"The rest of us will talk to our CIs and put the word out" Antonio says next.

"Let me make one thing perfectly clear, when we catch this bastard, he's to be handed off to me" Hank told his team in a deadly cold voice.

When Hank used that tone it sent chills down their backs and nodded. Erin saw he went back to his office and slammed the door. They all jumped. Adam looked to his partner.

"Al, you gotta know where Jo is" Adam spoke.

"I believe you were told to get to work" Alvin replied.

He dropped it for the time being. Erin sighed, getting up and going to Hank's office, she knocked. Hank wasn't in a mood as he heard the door and ignored it. She knocked again.

"What?!" He yelled.

Erin had taken that as her cue entering the room. "It's gonna be ok, Jordan will be home before you know it"

"Erin, get back to work"

"I know you're hurting, you had an impossible decision to make but it was one that had to be done. For Jordy's safety"

He turned facing her, tears falling from his eyes. "She begged to stay with me and I couldn't let her go. I just couldn't"

"I know believe me I know"

"I want my little girl back Erin"

She went and hugged him. "Jordy will be home before you know it"

He hugged her and cried. It was the first time since sending his baby girl away that he broke down. He wasn't whole. He wasn't complete. He missed hearing her voice, hearing her laughter that reminded him so much of Anna, seeing her smile that was all her mother. Seeing her run through the squad to him. It physically hurt not having her with him.

Meanwhile

It had been a couple of days since Jordan had gone to New York to stay with Olivia, she was slowly getting settled. She was staying in Noah's room, Olivia had moved her pull out couch in the room and set it up for her. Jordan smiled.

"Thank you Olivia," She said.

"Your welcome love" Olivia replied with a warm smile.

"I don't mean to keep you from work"

"It's perfectly fine Jo"

"What could we do? I don't really know New York"

"I'm sure we can find something to do"

"Can I call my dad later?"

"Right before bed, I promise"

Jordan sat on the bed part of the pull out couch and held the necklaces in her hand tightly. Olivia sat next to her and pulled her close. "You'll be home before you know it"

"I miss my dad, Erin, everyone"

"I know sweetie"

"Part of me wishes that I had just called my dad and this wouldn't have happened"

"You can't be sure of that"

She leaned into the older woman some. "When I saw those men get shot. I thought of when Yates shot that guy in front of me. I wanted to do something but I froze"

"Sweetie, I'm pretty sure you're dad would rather have you freeze up than something happen to you"

The teen nodded. "I had a dream where Yates was chasing me and he...He" she started to choke up.

"Take your time honey"

"He killed my mom and dad" She broke down. "And...he...he killed my brother and his family….and he ...he said there deaths were my fault"

"Oh sweetheart"

The thirteen-year-old cried into her shoulder, Olivia held her in a motherly hold and softly rocked her. She started to sooth the young teen. Her phone buzzed with Amanda.

-Wanna take Jo out to the park? I'm taking Jessie and Frannie out. Amanda.

"Wanna go to the park sweetie?" Olivia brushed her hair back.

The thirteen-year-old sniffed. "That sounds like fun"

"Amanda is taking her dog Frannie and her daughter Jessie out"

"I'll get ready"

"I'll get Noah ready"

It was warm out in New York, the weather was perfect, it was sunny and bright. Jordan wore a light green tank top with the matching shorts, the white and green sneakers to match. The two necklaces hung around her neck looking down. She smiled softly and held them in her hands and kissed them softly.

"I love you mommy and daddy" She muttered. After she dropped them as they hung there, quickly she braided her hair.

Olivia was helping her son when she heard that, she smiled she had a feeling that even though Jordan's mother was gone she had a great connection with her from all the stories that Hank tells her, the pictures, the small gifts Hank gave her. For Jordan to have benn 13 she was a strong kid. Losing her mother as a baby, going through life without a mother, the Yates situation just months ago, and the current situation. The Lieutenant was very impressed with the young girl's strength and braveness. One thing she knew for sure, she got those traits from both her parents.

She didn't know anything about Jordan's mother but hearing and seeing how Jordan is, she has a pretty good idea on the subject. The teen was very mature for her age just like someone else she knew.

After getting her son ready and Jordan they left out. Amanda was in the park, Jessie was in her stroller asleep. Amanda had Fannie's leash on her wrist. Olivia was walking with Noah and the young Voight, the older Lieutenant made sure to keep an eye out for the smallest thing that could be suspicious. If she so much has a slight hint of danger she's getting the kids out.

The blonde detective waved them over, Noah ran to her. "Aunt Amanda"

Jordan stayed close to Olivia, even though she was with Olivia she didn't want to take any chances. She was in a new city that she wasn't familiar with yet. She wasn't taking any chances or risks. Olivia smiled down at her brushing some loose hair back.

"Go on honey, it's alright. I can still see you". Olivia told her with a smile.

"You sure? I still don't know the city. I don't wanna get lost" Jordan replied nervously.

"I'm sure, I can still see you and Amanda is right there. I got a couple more people coming if that's alright"

"It's ok. Who are they?"

"One of my good friends Fin, we've been friends for years. I have a new detective, his name is Carisi but if you want you can call him Sonny. And my ADA friend, Rafael"

"They sound nice"

"They're very nice"

Once the two have arrived over to Amanda, the blonde smiled at the young teen. "Hey there darlin"

"Hi. Is it Detective or Rollins?" Jordan smiled nervously.

"Amanda will be ok. Wanna come meet my daughter Jessie?"

"Could I?"

"Of course, come on over"

The thirteen-year-old went and saw the baby girl, she smiled. "She reminds me of my nephew"

"What's his name?"

"Daniel. My brother Justin and his wife, Olive, they live on an Army base"

"It sounds like you have a great family Jo"

She smiled brightly. "I do. I really do"

Soon enough Fin, Carisi and Barba had arrived, Olivia waved them over and the three men went over. They all had hugged each other. Barba had seen the young teen.

"What's her story?" Rafael asked.

"Jordan, she's 13, she's a great kid. Her father is Sergeant Voight of Intelligence back in Chicago. Her mother died when she was a baby. She has one older brother; he's married with a little boy. Hank asked if we could watch her, she was at the wrong place at the wrong time and saw something she shouldn't have. Hank was worried if it got leaked Jordan was the witness" Olivia stopped, she couldn't even finish it.

"Poor girl" Carisi spoke.

"Ain't nothing gonna happen to her here. Not with us around" Fin added.

"She's very strong for her age," Barba said with a smile.

Olivia had a proud smile, the proud smile of a mother. "She's got that from both her parents"

They watched on as Jordan cooed over Jessie.

Back in Chicago

The Intelligence team still had no leads on the shooter, every lead was a dead end. It had only pissed Hank off more. He was starting to lose his temper more and more. The older Sergeant was losing his cool with just about everyone except Alvin, Trudy and occasionally Erin. He was running on fumes as his patience was long gone. They were gone the day he left his baby in New York.

Taking a deep breath, he opened one of the drawers to his desk and opened one, he pulled out a stack of pictures. The very first picture was of Hank and Anna after Jordan's birth. Anna was holding their baby girl close to her chest while Hank stood by smiling.

*Flashback*

Anna had just given birth to hers and Hank's little girl, Justin had picked his new baby sister's name. Jordan. Jordan Lynn. It was perfect. Once the newborn was cleaned and changed she was brought back to the room by the nurse.

"We have one freshly cleaned baby girl," The nurse said, handing her to Anna.

Anna smiled taking her baby girl into her arms, Hank looked on smiling proudly it was the same smile he had when Justin was born. His life was now complete. He had the woman he loved and two beautiful children.

"Our baby is so beautiful, Hank" Anna says looking at their baby girl.

"Jo looks just like you" Hank replied with a smile.

"You think? She has your eyes. Your hair"

The older man looked at his newborn daughter, he smiled. His baby girl was too beautiful to even look like him. Jordan was the perfect image of Anna. Anna did get one thing right, Jordan's chocolate brown eyes, they were all him. Everything else was her mother.

Jordan had a smile as she blew a little spit bubble, she made soft cooing noises as she smiled at her new parents. Hank softly tickled her chin making the baby giggle. He kissed her head. Anna held her baby girl close as the nurse took the picture.

Anna had gone to sleep while Hank walked around with his baby girl who was sleeping peacefully in his arms. He sat in the chair and rocked her softly.

"I'll always keep you, you're brother and you're mom safe, Jordan. I promise" He whispered to the sleeping baby.

*Back to reality*

"I promise to keep you safe baby girl. I swear on my life" He muttered.

There was a rapid knock on the door, quickly Hank put the pictures away and wiped his face. "What"

Kevin and Adam entered with papers. They kept a distance in case he was still angry.

"Boss, we may have something," Adam said first.

"What do you got?" Hank questioned without hesitation.

"We put a BOLO out of the sketch and we got a hit. Sarge meet, Vladimir Dmitri Mikhailova" Kevin showed him a picture. The picture resembled Jordan's sketch perfectly.

"Turns out the O'Connors have been feuding with the Mikhailova family. We looked at Marcas' social media and found out he was dating Tatianna Mikhailova, who happens to be Vlad's baby sister. But she was also sleeping with Danny" Adam continued.

"Bring her in and talk to her," Hank told them.

They nodded and left. He glanced at the picture of him and his baby girl on his desk. Picking it up he muttered, "I'll bring you home soon. I'll always protect you. I promise"

While

Jordan and Noah were playing while the adults watched, they were kicking Noah's soccer ball around. Fin, Carisi, and Barba had joined the kids as they played. Olivia and Amanda stayed back, the blonde detective was feeding her daughter.

"How's Jo been settling in?" Amanda asked, feeding her daughter.

"It's a change for sure, her first night she was on the phone with Hank for nearly an hour and a half crying. She had a nightmare about him, Yates" Olivia answered, sipping some coffee.

"No. She was doing so good the past few months. No nightmares, no more anxiety. Liv, what happened. I know Voight told you"

The older Lieutenant sighed. She had a feeling they'd be asking sooner rather than later. "I will answer that question later when there's no people around"

Olivia wasn't taking any chances of saying what Jordan saw, she didn't know if the guy could have friends or not. Amanda nodded taking the hint. After a while the kids ran over, Olivia smiled seeing them.

"What's up guys?' Olivia smiled.

"We're hungry" Noah says with a smile of his own.

"Let's go get some lunch"

They all headed to a pizzeria that was close by, they ordered plain cheese and drinks. Jordan saw how the adults were, they were on high alert. At this point she was used to it, it didn't bother her especially now.

"Jordan, what is it you like to do?" Barba asked.

She smiled. "You can call me Jo. I like sports. I play soccer, basketball, I'm thinking of doing softball. I like spending time with my family, I have an older brother, he's married and they have a son, his name is Daniel. I love it when they come over to visit. I also enjoy spending time with my dad's team. We're all pretty much like family. Antonio he's like an uncle and a second dad, after my dad went to jail when I was 11 Antonio helped Erin, my uncle Alvin, and my aunt Trudy look after me. I'm really close to his kids, Eva and Diego. They're like my cousins. Erin's like my big sister, I tell her all my secrets. My Uncle Alvin is one of the best uncles I have, he and his wife, My Aunt Mereidith are my first set of godparents. They have a daughter, Lexi, she's like my cousin and my best friend. My Aunt Trudy, she's the desk Sergeant at the District. She's married to a firefighter at Firehouse 51. They're both a bit older so I'm like their daughter. They're also my other godparents. My dad couldn't pick so he made all four of them my godparents. Jay is like my big brother, so are Kevin, Adam, and Sean. They're all so overprotective but I love them for it. Adam and I almost always have a prank war. We tend to mess up the squad a lot. I win almost every one. Kim is like my other big sister. Having one older brother whos overprotective, I like having Erin and Kim as sisters"

"It sounds like you have a great family kiddo" Carisi says with a smile.

"I do. I have a big family. I could go on all day about them"

Soon the food came and they all started to eat. They all had made small talk, as they ate the kids were feeling tired. Jordan still hadn't been sleeping well she rubbed her eyes. Noah was already falling asleep at the table. Olivia paid the bill, she picked up her son and Fin helped Jordan out to the car. After getting the kids settled in the car they were already fast asleep.

The Lieutenant then turned to her squad. "Meet back at my place, there I'll explain everything"

Everyone nodded, Olivia had gotten into her car and took off for her place. Everyone had followed her. After about 15 minutes they made it back to Olivia's place, she had carried Noah while Fin carried Jordan. The thirteen-year-old held tightly to him.

"Shh it's alright baby girl, you're safe" Fin soothed her softly.

"Aw Fin's a softy" Amanda teased a bit.

"It's adorable," Carisi added with a smile.

"If you two say so just know I'm still a badass" He glanced at the two.

They all had chuckled, Barba helped Olivia open the door as she held her son. He opened the door and Olivia went in taking Noah to his room, Fin had followed with the teen. The older woman had laid the small boy down and tucked him in with his stuffed elephant. Fin carefully laid the teen down, she very slightly stirred and opened her eyes blindly.

"It's ok honey go back to sleep" Fin said softly.

Jordan had gone right back to sleep, he covered her up. He quietly left the room as Olivia made sure they were comfortable. She made sure her son was good then checked the teen. She smiled when she saw the thirteen-year-old gripping the necklaces that hung around her neck.

"Sleep well my loves" She said quietly then kissed their heads, quietly she left the room closing the door.

The Lieutenant went out to her squad. "What I'm about to say cannot leave this room"

"Of course Liv, you know us" Fin spoke first.

"What's going on Lieutenant" Carisi spoke next.

Taking a deep breath she began. "A couple nights ago, Jordan was walking to her father's district. She watched two people get shot to death. Hank had to get her out because the guy that committed the murders is part of the Russian mob. He didn't want her outed as the witness. We all know what happens to witnesses who are outed. Hank didn't want that to happen to Jordan so he brought her here because he knew we'd keep her safe and protected"

Something had dawned on Amanda. "Didn't you mention before that she just got over the whole Yates thing?"

"She did, her nightmares stopped a couple of months ago"

"Could this set her back?" Carisi asked sadly.

"I don't know but she has us to help her"

"She'll be in good hands with us," Fin said.

"That she will, if you need me to watch her while she's here I can do it" Barba spoke.

Olivia smiled, she was lucky to have such a supportive team like this. Afterwards they had gone home. While the kids slept Olivia took this time to do some house work.

Jordan was in the room asleep, she had begun tossing and twitching as she slept. A look of fear was on her face, soon she began mumbling.

*Nightmare*

Jordan was back in Yates' old childhood home, it was cold out as she shivered. Looking down she saw she was wearing a shirt, jeans and boots. The same clothes she wore when the sick bastard had taken her. The teen had attempted to move but she couldn't, her wrists were tied behind her back, her ankles tied together.

The teen moved around trying to get someone's attention. Anyone's. Someone had entered the room. It was no other than Yates. It had made Jordan freeze in her spot. Her blood ran cold.

Yates had put some loose hair behind her ear making her flinch. "So beautiful"

"Please.. Please don't. Let me go. I want my daddy. Please" She begged.

"But you'll miss seeing the guests of honor"

She frowned and looked more terrified. Who the hell else was he talking about? He pushed the wheely chair she was in as she fought, he had enough as he bent down to her level holding a gun placing it under her chin.

The teen felt the cool metal of the gun right under her chin, closing her eyes she felt tears falling from her eyes. Was this it? Was this how she was going out? She was still young and barely begun to live life.

"Keep fighting and I kill you now"

"Please. Just let me go"

Ignoring her he pushed the chair into another room. Sitting in the room were two figures, they had bags over their heads. Yates had kept Jordan across from them, he went over to the two people and took the bags off their heads as he smiled evilly.

Jordan's eyes had gone wide with fear, he had her parents. Hank and Anna had gags in their mouths. Anna was terrified, tears kept falling from her eyes. She desperately wanted to hold the man she was gonna call her fiance and her baby girl. Hank was terrified but wouldn't show it he just viciously glared at Yates.

Yates went back to Jordan and stood behind her, he cut the ties to her wrist. She rubbed her sore wrists. Suddenly there was...BANG! BANG!

He had shot Anna and Hank point blank, Jordan watched on. Tears streamed down her face. "NO! MOMMY! DADDY! NO!"

The psychopath then rounded her and wiped her face, while the young teen was distraught he planted the gun in her hands. "I just want you to know my sweet little Jordy, their deaths are your fault. After all, you shot and killed them"

The distraught thirteen-year-old looked terrified as she looked down in her hands and saw the gun that was used to murder her parents. It was in her hands.

Before she knew it she was out of the chair standing, her chair and restraints gone. As she stood there, the gun was held loosely in her hands. Some blood covered her. Had she done the unthinkable? Had she killed her parents?

"MOMMY! DADDY!" She screamed falling to her knees.

*Back to reality*

As Olivia was doing laundry she heard Jordan scream from the room as she ran back there, opening the door Jordan was thrashing and fighting in the bed.

"No….mommy...daddy… Mommy! Daddy!" She cried.

The older woman rushed over, she very gently shook her. "Jordan, sweetheart wake up. Wake up honey. It's alright you're safe, wake up"

After a few minutes the teen had shot awake, she looked around not remembering for a moment where she was. "Daddy?! Daddy!"

"Jo, sweetie, It's Olivia. Remember you're dad brought you to me" Olivia used a gentle voice not wanting to upset her more.

"C-c-can I call my dad?" Her voice was shaky and trembling.

"Sure we can"

Getting up Jordan had hugged her and mumbled. "Thank you momma"

Olivia was taken back. Had she heard that right? The older woman didn't think much of it. She had thought the young girl was still out of it. "You're welcome my love"

Pulling out her phone she had dialed Hank's number and gave it to Jordan. The teen held the phone to her ear.

Back in Chicago

Adam and Kevin were bringing in Tatianna to talk to her, the others were quickly working trying to locate Vladimir. Hank was one second away of just going out and turning the city upside down until he found the bastard. He hated that they couldn't find him, it only infuriated him even more and fueled his determination to keep looking. He wasn't gonna be separated from his baby longer.

He was broken out of his thoughts by his phone, without looking at the caller ID he had answered. He rubbed his eyes. "Voight"

"Daddy" Jordan came on softly.

Hearing his little girl's voice he immediately went on high alert. Why did it sound as if she was crying? Had the piece of shit found her? Was she in danger.

"Jo, baby, what's wrong? Are you ok?" Hank asked quickly and worried.

"I- I had a nightmare. A bad one"

"What happened sweetheart"

"Yates...he had me again….He- he killed you and mommy….the gun was in my hands….he said I killed you and mom" She was choking up as if she wanted to cry again.

Hank felt heartbroken, his little girl was being haunted by that bastard again. And he wasn't there to hold and comfort her. This was killing him to be away from his little girl.

"I promise I'm just fine. Remember he can't hurt you or anyone else. He's dead. And baby, you could never ever hurt me, you're mother or anyone else. I can promise you that"

She sniffed. "Can I come home soon?"

"Soon, I promise as soon as the case is done I'll come get you. Were working to find him honey"

Adam went in, Hank looked up to see him and went to finish his conversation with his daughter first. "Jo, I'll call you later before you go to bed sweet girl ok? Be good for me"

"I will. I love you daddy"

For the first time in a couple days Hank smiled. "I love you too baby girl"

He hung up then looked at Adam. "Need something Ruzek?"

"Kev and I have Tatianna here, Lindsay and Halstead are questioning her"

Hank didn't need to be told twice, they went to the interrogation room. Erin and Jay were questioning her. Erin, like Hank, was also very short tempered. She wasn't in the mood for games.

"Why am I here?" Tatianna asked.

Jay slid over the pictures of Marcas and Danny's dead bodies. "Marcas and Danny O'Connor. According to Marcas' social media you two were in a relationship. But you were stepping out on Marcas with his little brother Danny. Weren't you?"

"So? Last I check, having a relationship is not a crime. Nor is cheating"

"But murder is" Erin snapped harshly. "You're brother, Vladimir killed them"

"No. He wouldn't. He's not like that"

"Your family was rivals with the O'Connors," Jay told her. "Why did he kill them?"

"He didn't do anything!"

Erin was having just about enough. She had a trick up her sleeve. "If she doesn't wanna talk to Jay, she doesn't have too. We know Vladimir killed them. Tatianna will just get charged as an accessory to both murders"

Tatianna looked up scared. "Fine. Fine. I was seeing Marcas yes and I was sleeping with Danny. I'm pregnant and I don't know which of them is the father of the baby. One night Marcas and I had a fight. I went to Danny afterwards. When I got home, Vladimir asked where I was, I couldn't tell him the truth that I was sleeping with our enemy. I told him that Danny had raped me. He had my phone and saw that I was seeing Marcas. He sent them a text pretending to be me asking to meet up. When he left he had his gun. I knew what he was going to do, you must believe me I tried to talk him out of it but it was too late. When I heard they were murdered I was devastated"

"Where is he?" Jay asked.

"We have a house, 1955 Trumbull Ave. I won't be charged will I?"

The two just left the room, Hank looked at them. "Nice work"

"Let's go get this bastard," Erin said.

They all headed out to the squad, Hank looked to his team. "We got an address everyone gear up. Were moving out in 5 minutes"

They all headed downstairs to gear up, everyone was putting on their vests, gathering their weapons. Erin quickly threw her long hair in a ponytail then adjusted her ear piece. Hank looked to his team.

"Let me make this crystal clear, the quicker he's in a bag the better"

"You mean you don't want him brought in?" Kevin asked.

"He ain't making it back to a jail cell. That clear enough for you"

"Crystal clear Sarge"

Erin had gone over to him. "After this you get Jordy back. Think about that, keep your mind on that. Don't do anything stupid to where she loses you again. I understand you want to protect her just don't make her lose you too"

He had let Erin's words sink into his head. All he thought of was finding the bastard and putting a bullet in him so his daughter would be safe forever. But if he does do that he'd lose her forever, he'd go back to prison and his little girl would lose him again. The older man wouldn't do that to his baby girl, not a second time.

Taking something out from his back pocket, it was a picture of his baby girl. "Soon baby real soon"

"We're ready Hank" Antonio told him.

"Let's roll"

The team had headed out, the sky was now a pink purplish color as it was getting dark. They had to move quickly.

When they arrived they got out and were cautious, just as they were about to raid the house...BANG! BANG! BANG!

"GET DOWN!" Hank called to his team.

They all ran taking cover, Vladimir kept shooting from the roof. He stopped to reload, the others took this chance to fire back. Adam, Kevin, and Erin went around back in case he decided to run.

Hank's heart pounded in his chest, adrenaline going through his body, he was getting fueled up and quickly. He took the chance to fire off a few shots. One of the shots had hit Vladimir in the shoulder.

He quickly went down to take cover. He went back in the window and ran down the stairs, Hank, Antonio, Jay and Alvin took this chance to go after him as they ran up to the house. Hank kicked the door down and they ran in. Vladimir was already running out the back door.

"CHICAGO PD STOP!" Jay yelled.

Vladimir had a back up gun and aimed it towards Jay, they all took cover as he started firing again. He made it out the back door. Erin was there and he had tackled her to the ground, Adam pulled him off the female detective. He then elbowed then punched the young detective and took off running. Kevin checked them.

"You guys good?" Kevin asked them.

"Were fine. Get him" Erin told him, helping Adam up.

Kevin then took off after him, Antonio and Jay were chasing around the other side hoping to cut him off. Hank hot on his detectives trails. The older Sergeant finally caught up to his detectives, more and more adrenaline going through his body.

He saw Vladimir coming, he saw a crow bar on the ground he picked it up and just as the Russian mobster was coming Hank had hit him full force with the crowbar making him fall.

Turning him over, the older Sergeant let out a growl and started beating him. He then put his gun in his mouth. "Give me a reason I shouldn't end you"

Antonio went over and pulled Hank off him. "Let him go. We got him"

Hank debated on wasting this piece of shit or just letting his team arrest him. Erin's words were coming back to him. 'Think of Jordy. Don't do anything that'll make her lose you again'

Slowly he took the gun out of his mouth and got off of him. "Arrest this bastard"

Antonio then turned him over cuffing him and yanked him up. Vladimir smirked at Hank. "I saw the girl that night. She 's your daughter, yes?" His accent was heavy.

Hank then punched him in the face. "Get him out of my sight"

"She won't be safe, I'll be back. She'll never be safe"

Antonio and Kevin dragged him again, Hank was tempted now more than ever to end the bastard's life for threatening his baby girl. Erin slowly took his gun from his hand. He looked to see her and passed the gun to her.

"We got him. Jordy will be safe now"

"My baby's coming home"

Meanwhile

Olivia had fed the kids dinner, she was bathing Noah while Jordan was changing for bed. She'd often glance at her necklaces smiling. The teen had taken this chance to call her father.

"Voight" He answered.

"Hi daddy" Jordan replies with a smile.

"How's my baby girl?"

"I'm ok. I miss you, I wanna come home"

Hank didn't wanna tell her he was coming to get her. He wanted it to be a surprise. "I know sweetie, I miss you too. We all do. You'll be home before you know it"

"Are you any closer to catching him?"

"We are. We're very close. It shouldn't be more than a day or so"

"Alright" Her voice lowered.

"Say what do you say when you get back we have a bbq and invite the team?"

They were already planning a welcome home party for Jordan, they still didn't know where she was, they thought she'd like a good surprise when she came home.

"That sounds awesome. Can I work the grill?"

Hank chuckled. "We'll see kiddo, for now get some sleep. It's past your bedtime"

"Alright. Good night daddy, I love you"

"I love you too my sweet angel"

Jordan hung up and put the phone on the floor next to her bed. Olivia came in just as Noah was falling asleep. "You call your dad?"

"Yeah, he said it should be another day or so" Jordan fiddled with the necklaces.

Olivia sat on the bed and brushed her hair back. "You'll be home soon sweetheart. I know you will. You're father and his team are the best they have in Chicago"

A small smile appeared on her face. "They are, aren't they?"

"Yes they are. Come on, time to go to bed"

The older woman pulled the blanket back and Jordan got under and Olivia tucked her in. Jordan held her stuffed bear close. The older woman smiled. "You're bear is cute, Noah loves his elephant"

"I know I'm too old for a teddy bear but it was something from my mom"

"It's a good reminder of her. Alright time for bed"

Just as Olivia got up from the bed, Jordan shot her hand out. "Olivia...can you stay? Please"

She gave a warm motherly smile. "Of course I can"

Getting off the bed she cut the light off and went back to lay next to the teen. Jordan laid close to Olivia, the older woman wrapped her arms around the teen protectively. As if a mother was holding her child. She rubbed her back soothingly and very gently rocked her.

The teen was slowly going to sleep as her eyes drooped closed. "G'night mommy"

Pressing a soft gentle kiss to her head all Olivia did was brush her hair back and whispered. "Good night my love. Mommy's here"

Olivia wasn't sure what it was but in the small amount of time she's known Jordan, she had this maternal instinct to protect her, keep her safe, care for her, love her. She wasn't sure why. Maybe it was because Jordan had gone through life without her mother. It was probably a question nobody would be able to answer.

If it made Jordan comfortable and happy, then that's all that mattered. Her happiness was all that mattered. Like with Noah, all she cared about for Jordan was that she was safe, happy, and healthy.

During the night Jordan very slightly tossed and turned, Olivia was in a light sleep when she felt the teen stir. "Shh it's alright Jo. You're safe. Momma's here. I got you my love"

The teen settled down and tucked herself close to Olivia's chest. The older woman smiled as she just held the teen close. She kissed her head one last time and fell asleep holding her.
