*Picks up from Chapter 32-34. And the last chapter. Must read those before this*

Jordan- 13

After the extremely long night Kevin and Adam had with Jordan, the two men remained on the floor fast asleep. The teen was up every hour on the hour if not every half hour. She had finally settled down at 4 am. Jordan had laid at the foot of the to be close to the young officers.

Erin and Jay were next on Jordan's detail, Jay opened the door while Erin brought in coffee and breakfast for all of them. Checking the time on his phone it was already past 9 in the morning and the house was quiet. Too quiet.

Adam's car was still outside so they hadn't left, there weren't any signs of a break in. The two partners split up and searched the house. Jay took the upstairs while Erin swept the outside. When Jay got upstairs he went and checked his partners rooms to find them empty, the beds looked half slept in.

He gripped his gun as he went to Jordan's room, the door was cracked and he nudged it with his foot opening it all the way. He smiled seeing the sight as he put his gun away. Kevin and Adam were hugging each other, their heads touching each other. The young detective chuckled and pulled his phone out and snapped a few pictures.

Jordan was at the foot of the bed sleeping, her long brown hair was covering her face. The teen slightly stirred, rubbing her eyes as she looked over and saw Jay.

"Jay, what time is it?" Jordan asked, letting out a yawn.

"A little after 9 kiddo, why don't you head downstairs. Erin and I got breakfast" Jay told her.

"Where's my dad?"

That caused the young detective to freeze, he couldn't tell her. It would break her heart, not to mention she'd use every trick in the book to escape and go see him which would make her an open target.

"He said he had something to do today"

"Jay, I'm 13 not 3. Where's my dad?"

"Go eat breakfast while I get them up"

She gave a scowl that could easily have matched her father's as she went past him, the young detective had let out a breath. He then looked down at his partners and gently kicked Adam's leg.

"Kev...wake up man. It's your turn" Adam mumbled.

"No man I got her last time. It's your turn" Kevin told his friend.

Jay bent down to their level. "Rise and shine boys!"

That caused the two men to jump and fall forward. Jay was laughing watching them, they looked up at him then back at the empty bed.

"Oh no. Jordan's missing. Dammit I knew I should have stayed awake" Adam panicked.

"Adam" Jay tried to stop him.

"I'll track her phone, you go search the area" Kevin told his friend, ignoring Jay.

"Guys! Jo's fine. She's downstairs"

"When were you gonna tell us?"

"Right now, Erin and I brought coffee and food"

"Thank god. We've been up half the night with Jordan, I don't know how Voight does it" Adam got up stretching.

"He's a parent man, he's gotta do what he's gotta do" Kevin commented.

"How is Hank doing? Any word?" Adam lowered his voice.

Jay closed the door so Jordan wouldn't hear. "He's gonna sit there until they take Jordan off the witness list. Antonio has already tried talking to him"

"What if..What if Jo tries to get through to him. Besides Al, Trudy, and Erin, she's the only other person who can get through to him"

"Hank's made it clear, if we bring Jo around him while he's in there. It's our ass"

"I hope he knows what he's doing," Kevin spoke up.

Downstairs Jordan got to the kitchen area as Erin was coming in, the teen looked to her and gave a smile.

"Hey Erin" Jordan says.

"Hey beautiful, how was your night with Adam and Kevin?" Erin asked.

"Long and exhausting. I couldn't sleep much"

"I'm sorry honey"

"Where's my dad?"

"Jordy-"

"Erin please, stop treating me like a kid. I can handle it"

"You're dad asked us not to tell you"

"He's in jail isn't he? So I wouldn't testify"

Erin knew the teen was smart, she'd figure anything out. Jordan took the long silence as a yes.

"I wanna see my dad. Please"

"He doesn't want you seeing you like that"

"I wanna see my dad!"

"Jordan" Erin used a warning tone, she hardly ever had to do that with her sister.

"He's my dad not yours!"

"That's enough! Go upstairs now"

The three men stood there in shock, they never once had ever imagined that would have happened. Jordan ran past them and up to the room. Jay shook off his shock.

"Do I wanna know about that?" Jay asked.

"She pieced together where Hank was and wanted to see him. I told her no. Then she went off" Erin explained, taking a deep breath.

"I'll go talk to her"

"Good luck"

Everyone who knew Jordan, she hated talking while she was angry. Like Hank she never thought about the words she would say they would just come out. Upstairs Jordan quickly got dressed, the teen knew she didn't have long before one of them came to see her.

She changed into a long sleeve striped shirt with skinny jeans and her sneakers. Quietly she locked the bedroom door and pushed a chair under it to jam the door. Thinking fast on her feet she knew they'd be tracking her so she cut her phone off and took the battery out then left it in one of the drawers. Once that was done she climbed out the window looking down it was about a good 15 almost 20 foot drop.

Taking a deep breath, the teen saw the tree branch close and went to reach for it. She knew how to climb up and down a tree by the time she was 10. She had even made an escape occasionally by jumping on them. Once she had her balance she climbed down carefully she had hit the ground and then she took off fast.

Jay gave it a few minutes for her to calm down but eventually went to the room, he knocked. "Jo, it's Jay. Come on kiddo open up"

He heard nothing but silence. It was so quiet he could hear a pin drop. The young detective's heart started racing.

"Jordan?! Jordan!"

He checked the door knob and it was locked, then started to ram his shoulder against the door. Normally it would budge but not this time. Not seeing no other option he raised his foot and kicked the door in, the other three heard the commotion and ran upstairs. Jay just about had the door down as he was kicking the chair out the way.

"What the hell man?" Kevin said to his friend.

The young detective ignored him as he searched the room, his heart dropped. Jordan was gone. He turned to his partners.

"Jordan's gone"

While

Jordan made it halfway down the street before stopping to catch her breath. She was going to see her father and didn't care what he or anyone else said about it. He was her father not there's. They couldn't dictate if she could see her only parent. It reminded her of when he was in prison, Hank didn't want her seeing him like that but it did make his time while he was in that hell hole.

The teen got on a bus and sat down, it definitely reminded her when her father was in prison and she'd cut school to go see him. Little did the teen know someone had been following her. She wanted her phone but she couldn't risk them tracking her.

After the bus ride she got off and headed to the State's Attorney's building. She knew her father had to be there. The guy following her stayed back he wasn't that stupid to follow her in a building full of cops and lawyers. The young Voight just about ran into the building and accidentally bumped into someone.

"Sorry" The teen spoke.

"It's quite alright," The man said. It was Peter Stone. He was the prosecutor who had put Hank in prison.

He looked to see the teen and frowned. "Are you alright?"

"I'm fine. I'm here to see my dad"

"What's your dad's name?"

"Hank Voight"

Peter had just about choked on air, that was news to him. He heard of Hank having an older son but not a young daughter. Jordan was used to that look.

"I know, my dad doesn't tell a lot of people. Please I wanna see him"

"How do you know he's here?"

"I know my dad, he came here yesterday to do something. He never came home"

"I'll see if I can find him"

Peter turned to make a call, Jordan knew he was calling to rat her out. She quietly slipped away and started to search the building. Just like the district she knew the cells would be on the lower half of the building.

Hank was laying on the hard wooden bench, he still refused to let his little girl testify. He wasn't burying her because of something she saw. It wasn't his first time in a cell. Probably wouldn't be his last time. The older man hadn't slept at all, he couldn't sleep not without knowing about his baby girl. His eyes were just closed.

Jordan opened the door, they kept them locked but she knew how to pick a lock. Justin had taught her how to pick locks in case she was ever in danger. She walked down the hallway checking the cells. Hank heard the footsteps and kept his eyes closed, probably guessing it was Steve, Antonio, or someone else asking him for what would be the millionth time to reconsider having Jordan testify.

"I told you I'm not changing my mind, my daughter's not testifying and that's that" Hank spoke.

"Daddy," Jordan says softly.

That had caused the older man's eyes to open as he got up to see his daughter, she was working on picking the lock to the cell. It took a couple of tries but she managed to get it open. She pushed the cell door to the side as she ran to her father. Hank was confused but wrapped his daughter in a hug.

"Jordan, what are you doing here? How did you get here?"

"I may or may not have run away from Erin and Jay after climbing out the window of the house"

"Jordan Lynn! What were you thinking?"

"I wanted to see you, I had to"

"I don't want you here Jordan. I don't want you seeing me like this"

"I know why you're doing this, dad. You're doing it to protect me. Like you always do. You'd do anything to protect me and Justin. You don't have to sit in jail because of me"

"Sweetheart, I'm not losing you because of what you witnessed"

"You always told me it was your job to keep the city, me and Justin safe. Now this can be my turn. I can help protect the city by telling them what I saw. He'll go to prison and he'll be off the streets. The city will be safe from him if I do this"

Hank looked at his little girl and couldn't believe at 13 she sounded so much like an adult, she sounded so much like Anna. The older father just pulled his daughter close, holding her as if he was trying to shield her from all the evil in the world. He failed with Justin. He swore to do right by her.

"Your so brave just like your mother"

"I wanna be able to sleep knowing I did something to help the city"

"I need you to go back to Erin and Jay. Let me handle this"

"Daddy please"

"I love you. More than you'll ever know. One day you'll understand"

"I won't leave without you"

"Yes you will"

"Daddy-"

"Jordan you will go back. Call Erin and have her come get you"

She stayed quiet. "I kinda don't have my phone. I turned it off and took the battery out of it so they can't track me"

"Jordan Lynn Voight. You are so grounded"

"I guess I should go before they find me here"

"Don't you ever do something like this again"

"You either"

"We'll see"

Jordan kissed her father's cheek and left closing the cell back she had then made her way out, thankfully the building was busy and she sped walked out. Once she was clear out of the building she started walking.

It didn't take Erin and the others long to figure out where Jordan went, she went to see her father. They had called Antonio and Alvin to go get her as they were on their way to get her. They sped through the streets lights and sirens.

Antonio and Alvin arrived and started searching on foot, Jordan was walking the guy following her. Adam and Kevin had eventually caught up and found her, they saw their boss's daughter and the guy following her.

"Jordan!" Kevin called.

The teen heard someone call her, she looked around and saw Kevin and Adam they were signing for her to turn around. Before she could react two arms had grabbed her from behind she screamed. Just then all of Intelligence ran in, Jay went around in case he tried to go down the alley. Everyone else ran with guns pulled, they all had to watch so they wouldn't hurt Jordan. Hank would have all their heads.

They all aimed but were cautious of the teen, the guy held tightly to Jordan's ribs she fought and struggled but his hold was too tight.

"Let her go, you don't have to do this," Antonio told him.

"Don't tell me what I have to do" The man spoke, his accent thick. It was a Russian.

"She's just a little girl, let her go" Erin tried.

He pulled a gun out and held it to Jordan's head, the teen shivered feeling a flash back from Yates.

"No! No please! Daddy!" Jordan cried.

Adam then had to get the young girl's attention. "Jo, look at me honey. Keep your focus on me and Kevin"

"I want my dad"

"Keep your eyes on us, we'll make sure you go home to him" Kevin told the young teen.

She looked at Adam and Kevin, her eyes tearing up. "I'm scared"

"It's all gonna be ok," Adam says calmly.

Coming up the alley slowly and quietly was Jay, he had to watch it so Jordan wouldn't get hurt. He carefully watched every step he made to avoid making a single noise. Finally he got right behind the guy he crept up slowly and shoved his gun into his neck

"Drop the gun and let her go, before I blow you away" Jay hissed.

With a scowl the man dropped the gun and released Jordan, insistently she ran towards Erin, Antonio, and Alvin. They had taken her and shielded her, Jay, Adam, and Kevin quickly surrounded the Russian man and confiscated the gun.

Jordan had hugged Erin tightly, all the detective could do was wrap her arms around the young teen and hold her.

"It's alright Jordy. You're safe now" Erin soothed her, brushing her hair back.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry" The teen sobbed into Erin's vest.

"Let's get you back to the safe house"

Antonio and Alvin went to help Kevin and Adam, Erin and Jay had taken her back to the safe house. Jay did a thorough perimeter scan of the area to make sure nobody would try anything. Erin kept the teen close, Jordan still felt herself in a panic attack. Her brown eyes wide, they were glossed with tears but they never fell. Her mind going a thousand miles an hour, she was still hopped up on adrenaline.

She didn't feel Erin hugging her, she felt something against her cheek. Erin's vest. The teen was so zoned out she didn't hear the soothing words coming from the female detective. Something had brought the teen from her state, the front door opened and Jay came back.

Without realizing it Jordan pulled Erin's gun from the holster and aimed it at Jay.
