*You will need tissue*

Everything stopped. Time stopped. Had Hank just heard his daughter correctly? She was pregnant at 14. He remained standing frozen in his spot trying to process the words. If he knew he had a pretty good guess at who the father was. That enraged him even more.

"Daddy, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I didn't mean for this to happen" Jordan told her father, her voice cracking up.

Without a word Hank left the room, Jordan's eyes widened.

"No. Daddy please don't leave. I'm sorry!"

Erin and Trudy chased after him while Will stayed with her. Jordan looked at him with tears in her eyes.

"I told you I shouldn't have told him. Now he hates me. This is all your fault"

"He doesn't hate you honey. He's just in shock. I'm sure Erin and Trudy can get through to him"

Hank had made it to his car when he was called.

"Hank! Stop!" Erin called.

He turned to see them. "I have something to do. Stay with Jo"

"Hank, she needs you right now," Trudy says. "She's terrified and needs you"

"You going off like this, it's scaring her more than what she is. It took a hell of a lot of courage for her to tell you because of how terrified she is. Jordy needs you more than ever right now Hank" Erin went on. "Deal with Kyle later. Right now. Go be with your daughter"

"Go be with her Hank" Trudy encouraged him, hoping he'd listen.

The older man sighed. He'd been so hopped up in anger and going at Kyle he forgot his daughter. He went back in the hospital with his little girl.

Jordan just remained in Will's hold, he tried to calm her so she wouldn't get too stressed. Had her father turned her back on her? Was she about to do this alone? So much was racing through her head.

Hank walked in the room, the doctor and teen both looked to see him. Will knew this should be a private moment with them. He excuses himself.

The teen felt her lip wobble again. "You came back"

"Of course I did. I'd never leave you, you know that" He said, going to sit next to her.

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry daddy"

Without a second thought he pulled her in for a hug as she cried again. When he stormed out earlier he hadn't known his daughter was terrified and needed him.

He was so bent on anger and revenge he forgot his little girl. Her life was once again turned upside down and was about to change in a matter of months.

"I'm sorry baby, I never meant to make you feel anything when I left earlier. I didn't leave because of you. I was going to go talk to Kyle"

"It's not just his fault. It's mine too. I was drunk that night, I was high. I didn't know if we had used anything. Not to mention I lied about my age. I said I was 21"

"He still should have known better"

"I don't know what to do dad. I'm only 14. I don't know anything about taking care of a baby. I'm just learning to retake care of myself, I don't know anything about a baby. I barely knew how to change Daniel's diapers. What should I do? Tell me what to do daddy"

This was killing Hank, hearing his little girl scared and seeing the fear in her eyes. He didn't know what to do in a situation like this. God what he wouldn't do to have Anna with him. She would know what to do.

"I don't know Jo Jo. It's whatever you decide. You have options. I'll support whatever you want to do. If you choose abortion we can set that up. I can help you look into adoption if you want that. If you want to keep the baby, I'll help you as much as I can but it will be your responsibility. Yours and Kyle's"

She looked at her father. "Y-you would let me keep the baby?"

"Only if you want. But Jordan, having a baby at any age especially a teenager is a big responsibility. It means no more time for friends, no going out, you must put your baby first. You'd have to learn how to manage a baby, school, therapy, a job"

She sniffed and wiped her eyes. "Don't get me wrong I'd wanna keep my baby. But I know I can't. I'm still young, I wanna do things. Go to school, college, police Academy. Maybe.. Maybe I should consider adoption. I could give the baby to Matt and Gabby. They've wanted a baby for so long. I'd still be able to see them, watch them grow up. Be in their life"

"It's whatever you decide. Whatever you're choice is, I'll support you"

Jordan just hugged her father tightly. "I love you daddy"

He kissed her head. "I love you too sweetheart. More than my own life"

After a few minutes Hank and Jordan left. Hank thanked Will for helping Jordan and convincing her to tell him. He took Jordan home, when she got home she went to sleep she was exhausted.

After making sure his daughter was alright he locked up the house and drove to the district. Now he was going to deal with Kyle.

Since Adam had put him in the cage, the young informant had been trying to do anything to get out of the cell before Hank got to him. As he tried to get his hands through the bar he heard footsteps.

He saw Hank and ran to the far back of the corner. Hank had an evil glare on his face as he opened the door and stepped in closing it behind.

"Me and you Kyle, have a very big problem" Hank started, he wore black gloves.

He had a crowbar in his hand, for the moment he had dropped it.

"Voight please. I… I didn't know!" Kyle pleaded.

The older man grabbed him and threw him against the cell and pulled out a pocket knife, opening it.

"She's 14 you son of a bitch!"

"She told me she was 21! I swear! That night she looked-"

"Finish that sentence I'll cut your vocal cords out and strangle you with them" He moved the knife down to his groin. "Give me a reason I shouldn't cut them off"

"Voight please. Please. I didn't know"

"She's 14! 14 and pregnant!" He moved the knife closer to his junk. "Like I said give me a reason"

"She.. She said she was 21. How could I turn her down?"

Hank moved the blade back to his neck and slowly, painfully bringing it down.

"You say NO!"

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry!"

"Oh you're going to be. You're gonna listen to me and listen very carefully. If anything passes this thick skull of yours we will have a much different conversation on a drive you won't be coming back from"

"U-Understood"

"As much as I want to end you and believe me I want nothing more. This is going to be your child too. Whatever Jordan decides is what she decides. If she chooses to keep it, you will step up or I will throw your sorry ass in jail. If she wants to give it up then she and you sign whatever you have to. You understand me"

"Y-y-yes sir"

"You are to NOT contact Jordan. You send so much as one text message, one phone call. I drop your ass"

"Y-y-yes sir"

"A couple more things"

Hank had put the knife down and picked up the crowbar. He swung hitting Kyle in the midsection and the young informant dropped.

"That was for giving my daughter drunk and high that night"

He then swung hitting him in the groin and his junk. The young informant screamed, groaning in pain.

"That was for sleeping with my daughter"

"Dude… you… hit me… in the.. Balls"

"Be extremely lucky that's all you got"

"I think.. You.. Gave me.. Blue balls"

"They may be black and blue balls"

"I.. Might be.. Sterile forever.. Now"

"Good for you. That's your problem. Should have kept it in your pants"

"Dude.. We're gonna.. Be family"

"Do you want to get hit again?"

He shook his head rapidly. Hank then left him before he completely lost it on him.

A few days had gone by, Jordan's shock was wearing off as she was weighing her options.

One afternoon she had found herself at the mall and went to a baby store looking around. Kyle had followed her, Jordan felt someone behind her just as Kyle was about to reach for her shoulder she turned and grabbed his wrist.

"Chill out girl. It's me" Kyle told her.

"Have you not learned from the last time what happens if you sneak up on me?" Jordan asked. "What are you doing following me? Do you want my dad to kill you?"

"Believe me he and I already talked. Well he did the talking. He hit me a couple times. Once in the balls"

"That's my dad for ya. Is there a reason you're following me?"

"I wanna talk about the baby"

"I don't know what I'm doing yet. Part of me wants to keep it. But I'm too young a baby. I don't know what I'm doing. I'm not ready to be a parent yet. You maybe, me not so much"

She winced, holding her stomach, Kyle looked worriedly at her.

"Are you ok?"

"My stomach has been acting up all day"

He saw something dark in her jeans. "Jo either you sat in something or.. I think you're bleeding"

"Wha.." She felt more pain as she fell.

Kyle called 911 and stayed with her, Jordan tried to call her father but she was in pain. Within 5 minutes two paramedics arrived. It was Gabby and Brett.

Jordan looked up to see them, she was hunched over feeling more cramps.

"Gabby, Brett, I'm pregnant. Please. Please don't let the baby die" Jordan cried.

That made the two women freeze but immediately had gotten to work. Gabby looked at Kyle curiously and suspiciously.

"Who are you?" Gabby asked.

"Long story. Just help her" Kyle answered.

The two women worked fast and got her on the stretcher and to the ambo.

"I wanna ride. I'm the father of the baby. Please" Kyle told them.

"Just let him please," Jordan cried softly.

"Up front," Brett said.

Kyle got in the front with Brett, Gabby stayed in the back with Jordan. If she had to guess she knew what was wrong.

"How far along are you?" Gabby asked softly.

"A month maybe. Gabby, I was doing everything right. I swear. No drinking, no drugs, I was eating right. I was doing everything right. Please. Please don't let this baby die" She pleaded.

It was choking Gabby up, Jordan had suffered and went through a lot for someone as young as her and life was still a bitch. Gabby couldn't tell her what happened. It would break her.

At the hospital they rushed in, Will saw and ran over.

"What do we got" Will spoke.

"Jordan, cramping and heavy bleeding" Gabby told him.

Everything around Jordan was zoning out. She didn't need to be told what was going on. She had a pretty good idea.

Will was rattling information off to April, Kyle waited outside. He went to call Adam.

Adam was at the district when his phone rang

"Ruzek" Adam answered, sipping his coffee.

"Adam.. It's Kyle" He stammered.

"What's wrong?"

"Um Jordan's in the hospital. She was complaining of her stomach hurting and looked like she was bleeding"

"Stay there. I'll get Voight"

Without another word to his confused friends he ran to Hank's office.

"Boss, you gotta get to Med. Jordan's there"

Hank shot his head up feeling sick to his stomach. At the same time Will was calling. He ran out as fast as he could out of the building.

Erin grabbed her coat as tears burned. Jay went to her.

"What's going on?" Jay asked.

Everyone looked at her taking a deep breath she told them.

"Jordan's pregnant"

Hank blew through all the lights and stop signs he could. Nothing was going to stop him from getting to his little girl. Within record time he made it and ran inside.

Will admitted Jordan, after consulting with an OB. It was confirmed that Jordan had miscarried her baby.

They hadn't told her until Hank arrived because they knew she would need him. Hank rushed in to see him.

"Where's Jordan?" Hank asked worriedly.

Looking over the redhead doctor saw him, he'd been crying some. His eyes were red. It hadn't taken long for Hank to pick up what happened.

"No. Will no"

"Jordan's fine. However, the baby. The baby didn't make it. There was no heartbeat"

That caused him to freeze and drop to his knees as Will caught him.

"Come on Hank"

"Does she know?"

"We haven't told her. We didn't want to until you got here. She's gonna need a D and C. To remove everything"

"I wanna see her"

"Of course. Follow me"

Will brought the older man to the room, Jordan had been in a light sleep. Dried tear stains on her cheek. Kyle had been outside the room just watching. He respected Jordan's privacy and didn't wanna intrude on her.

Hank saw the young informant there. "Kyle, what are you doing here?"

He turned and jumped. "I was with Jordan when everything happened. I called the ambulance"

"Is she awake?"

"She's been asleep for about 20 minutes"

"Go get some coffee. I got it from here"

Kyle nodded and he turned to Hank. "If it helps, I would have stepped up to be a damn good father"

"I know you would have. Thank you for being there for her when I wasn't"

"She needed help. That was my baby. She's the mother. They were my family"

With that he left, now came the hard part. This was going to crush Jordan deeply. As she was waking up the teen blinked her eyes and saw Will and her father.

Her brown eyes had a blank emotionless look. "Just say it Will" Her voice cracked.

"I'm so sorry Jo. There was no heart beat when we checked"

Hank had been by his daughter's side in a flash. "I'm so sorry baby"

"What did I do?" She cried. "I was doing everything right. I did everything right. I wasn't drinking. I wasn't using. I ate right. I did everything right. I did everything right daddy"

The older father hugged his little girl. "It wasn't anything you did honey. You didn't do anything"

"I didn't do anything wrong. I didn't do anything" She cried into his shoulder.

"I know sweetheart. I know. We all know"

As her head rested on her father's shoulder, she glanced at Will. "Was it a boy or girl?"

"From what we saw in your previous tests. It was a little girl" Will tried to keep his voice straight.

"Anna. Her name is Anna. After my mom"

"I'm so sorry Jordan"

Hank had just held his daughter tighter, Jordan had just cried and cried on her father's shoulder.

Downstairs in the ED, all of Intelligence and Trudy have arrived. Kyle was coming up from the cafeteria, he had been crying. Adam went over to him.

"Kyle, what the hell happened?" Adam asks.

"Jordan. I overheard the doctors. The baby had no heartbeat" He dropped against the wall crying.

Everyone felt their hearts drop and their throats close up. No. Adam dropped down and pulled Kyle up hugging him.

"I'm so sorry man" Adam held him.

Erin ended up crying in Jay's arms. Trudy hugged Alvin crying. The others tried to maintain their tears and emotions. Jay looked and found his brother. The two brothers locked eyes and Will went over sniffing back his own tears.

"Jordan is alright. But when we checked on the baby. There wasn't a heartbeat. Hank's with her now" Will told the group.

"Can we see her?" Erin choked out.

"I can see of she wants visitors"

"Will, the baby. Do you know what it was?" Trudy asked.

"Little girl"

Erin hugged Jay tighter, they all had held each other. Jordan was holding her father as he laid next to her. Her brown eyes wide as new tears glossed in her eyes.

"Daddy, she was a baby. Who's gonna look after her. She was small. Just so small. Who's gonna take care of her?" Her lip wobbled more.

"She'll be well taken care of"

"Do you think.. Do you think mom and Justin will look after her?"

"I know they will. She'll never be alone"

"I didn't do anything wrong. I didn't do anything wrong" She had started sobbing again.

"I know, baby. I know. It wasn't you. You didn't cause this"

"I wanted to keep her. I wanted to keep her. I was was gonna tell you today"

"Oh my baby. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry"

Jordan threw her head back some and just cried, she felt the urges come back. Hank held her and soothed her. He knew good and well his daughter wouldn't be the same after this. He now deeply feared he was gonna lose her.

This could most likely cause her to hit rock bottom again. To cause her to spiral back out.

The team had gone up to see her, Will had only said two at a time. The first two who went in were Adam and Erin.

"Jordy. I'm so sorry honey" Erin says, sitting next to them.

"I'm sorry kid" Adam spoke next.

"Anna. Her name is Anna" Jordan said, in a robotic tone.

They all knew Jordan was breaking already. It was already starting. Jordan was breaking. Her eyes just locked onto the ceiling.

The team came in and saw her, she zoned out. Not paying attention or listening. Just stared at the ceiling. Not blinking.

Will had come back and he had explained that she needed a D and C to clear out the tissue. The teen still hadn't heard a word.

"Jordan? Jordan? Honey" Will said, breaking her from her thoughts.

"Yeah? What?" She came out of her thoughts.

"I said you need surgery to remove tissue so you don't get sick"

"No. You're not taking her out of me"

"Jordan, I'm sorry. But she's not alive. We need to remove the tissue"

"I wanna see what she looks like"

"I wish there was a way I could help you"

"This surgery. No pain meds. No meds at all"

"You'll be asleep while it's being done. Afterwards we'll see how your pain is"

"No pain meds. At all"

"I understand"

Hank stayed with his daughter as they brought her up to do her surgery. Once they were at the door the older father kissed her head.

"I'll be here when you wake up. I promise" Hank assures his daughter.

"I love you daddy" She choked out.

"I love you too sweetheart"

Jordan went in for the surgery. Hank went downstairs and outside. It was dark outside, the sky was lit up bright as the moon shined. The stars twinkled.

He looked up at the sky, tears running down his eyes.

"Anna, Justin, please. Please watch over Jordan. She can't take anymore, she's hurting enough. Watch out for her little girl. Watch over our granddaughter Anna. Jordan, she named her after you. Anna. If Jordan would, she can name her. Anna Lynn. After you and herself. Just please watch over the baby and Jordan"

He let out a breath followed by a sob. Before he knew it he had been crying. He'd been holding it the whole time.

He felt someone wrapping their arms around him. It was Erin. Then it was Trudy and Alvin.

Shortly after Jordan's surgery she was going back to her room. Hank went back to his daughter and stayed by her side.

He propped himself beside her and held her close. She had slightly stirred.

"Dad?"

"I got you sweet girl. I'm right here"

"Do you think I would have made a good mom?"

"You would have made an amazing mother. Just rest for now sweetheart. I'm not going anywhere"

"I'm gonna do better for her. For her, mom, Justin, and you. I'm gonna do better. I promise"

"I have faith you will"

Hank just stroked her hair back and held her as she slept. Maybe he wouldn't lose his daughter after all. He does know her life won't be the same.
