Jordan- 15

In the cabin Jordan was very slowly coming to, her vision was blurry. She managed to make out lights and they were bright, very bright. And monitors but computer monitors.

The first thing she felt was pain and a lot of it. It had then hit the teen she sprained her ankles and possibly bruised or broken her ribs when she and Adam made a run for it in the woods.

Once she was fully around she looked around and didn't see Adam. Where was he? As she attempted to move, pain struck going through the right side of her body and her ankle. This was going to be difficult.

She felt something wet and sticky flow down her arm when she looked at it, it was blood. When she fell she must have cut herself on a branch. What caught her eye on the monitors were live feeds, she swallowed hard when she saw that the feeds were of the remaining members of Intelligence. Jay, Kevin, Hailey, Kim, they were all there except her father and Adam. That had made her blood run cold.

If Adam was with her with this deranged psychopath, where was her father? She looked down and saw her hand zip-tied, silently swearing under her breath when she looked back at the monitors she jumped, sending more pain through her body when the guy was bent to her level.

"So beautiful, feisty, a fighter, I like it" The man spoke with an evil grin.

Jordan shot him an evil glare. "If I wasn't injured I'd show you just exactly how much of a fighter I can be"

Standing to his full height he backhanded her, the teen felt her once cold cheek sting and pulse in pain, it had a warm sensation to it. Looking up at the man she chuckled dryly.

"You honestly think that's the best you've got? Dude I hit harder than that and I'm a girl"

Without a word he moved from in front of the screens behind her, he moved his hands on her shoulders using one of his fingers he pointed to the screen. When the teen looked at the man's nail it made her stomach turn. It was covered in dirt and what looked like blood. A large lump formed in her throat.

"Pick one to die"

Jordan's eyes nearly bugged out of her head when he said that. He wanted her to pick which member of her father's team- her family dies. That had definitely wanted to make her throw up. It was no secret they could all take care of and defend themselves but to do something like this. It's unforgivable.

Her mouth was dry, the most she tasted was the little bit of blood on her chapped lips. She bit down hard on her lip not only to avoid giving him an answer but to ignore all the pain coursing her body. The throbbing pain in her ankle, the sharp shooting pain in her ribcage, the stinging pulsing pain in her cheek.

Before she could think she shot her head back bashing it against his face breaking his nose, blood began pouring down from his nose. He snarled at her in agonizing pain.

"You little bitch!"

"Probably not the first I've heard that, might not be the last. As for me picking someone to die. You can go to hell, I'm not picking which of my family you can kill. Go to hell"

"Have it your way

The man disappeared from behind her and went upstairs and started dragging down one of the men when Jordan heard the voice her eyes went wide.

"Let go of me! I swear if you touched a hair on my daughter's head I'll kill you!"

The teen felt her heart race faster. She kept eyeing the monitors and now knew why her father wasn't there. The psychotic bastard took him too. Before the team knew it her father was in front of her, Hank froze seeing his daughter.

"Daddy" Jordan choked out.

"Jo Jo, it's gonna be fine. Just do whatever he wants you to do" Hank told her.

"I can't and I won't"

The man forced Hank down in a chair and went to get Adam, the teen was trying to force her way out of the rope but it was no use. All it did was send sharp, agonizing pain through her body. She let out a loud frustrated scream that almost sounded like a cry.

"Jo Jo, we'll get out of this. I promise, if we don't- if I don't, I just want you-"

"No dad. Don't do that" She cut her father off, her words came out choked but hard. "We're getting out of this. If it's the last thing we do"

"What does he want you to do?"

"He wants me to..to pick which of the team dies-" Before she could finish the man dragged down a struggling Adam.

He forced Adam into a chair and made sure his wrists were tied behind his back tightly. He had done the same thing with Hank. Walking on the creaking wooden board opening a pocket knife the man walked towards Jordan, the teen's eyes widened as did Hank and Adam's. Both of them tried to struggle getting out of the hold.

The man took the blade of the pocket knife and cut the thick heavy brown ropes that bounded Jordan's wrists. She viciously glared at him while rubbing her red and raw wrists before she knew it he shoved a gun in her hand, he had recently loaded it with a full clip. Her brown eyes held a variety of thoughts and emotions. Worry, fear, confusion. She glanced between the man and her father and Adam. Was he going to have her choose between her father and Adam?

Her hands shook as the cold metal gun had been in her hand. There was no way she could do this. This would kill her. Adam was her best friend, her partner in crime. And then her father, the man who raised her. Who brought her into the world. The man that gave up so much, sacrificed so much for her. He was her everything, she was his everything. The father and daughter had an unbreakable bond.

"Choose one to die. Your best friend or your father"

Meanwhile

Over at the district the remaining members of Intelligence had been fresh out of leads, they'd been working half the night and they were all exhausted. What had gotten Antonio's attention was that Hank never returned from checking on Adam and Jordan. He had figured they crashed for the night.

"Alright guys, go home and get some rest. We'll pick up in the morning" Antonio told them.

"Good. I am drained" Jay spoke, rubbing his tired blue eyes.

"Don't need to be told twice," Kevin commented.

"Anyone check on Adam and Jordan?" Kim asked, getting up, throwing her coat on.

"Hank did but he hasn't come back. I think they fell asleep. I'll stop by on my way home" Antonio answered.

"I'll stay, I'll try and find more leads to work in the morning" Hailey says from her desk, not looking up.

"Hailey you need sleep" The senior detective looked her way.

"I'm fine. I don't sleep much anyway"

Not much in the mood to argue everyone but Hailey had left. The team had gone their separate ways. Antonio had gone to his car and got in, before he went home he was going to go check on Hank and the others. It was a short drive to the Voight household.

When the senior detective arrived at the house, he was getting a very uneasy feeling in his stomach. Something was definitely wrong. Walking over the gate was open, red flags were starting to raise in the detective's head. His hand slowly went to his gun on his hip and rested there as he made his way up the stairs. When he noticed the front door was open he pulled his gun and flashlight.

Slowly he made his way in the house slowly and quietly. Fear was creeping up in his body. The house was dark and quiet. Dead quiet. It was so quiet he could hear a pin drop.

"Hank? Adam? Jordan? If you're here, call out. It's Antonio"

Instead of hearing a response back like he wanted and expected he heard nothing but dead silence. He had kept searching the house, he got to the top part of the house and searched. The bedroom doors were open, looking in each one they were empty. In the middle of the hallway Antonio spotted something. A needle.

Without a second thought he pulled out his phone and called Jay. "Jay, get over to Hank's now. Something has happened"

While

Jordan held the gun still with her shaky hands, her eyes still wide. Sweat fell down her face mixing with the tears from her eyes and the dirt and blood on her cheeks.

"Jordan, I'm not going to tell you again. Choose one to die or I choose for you" The man told her sharply.

The teen's eyes widened. How did this sick bastard know her name? She didn't know and didn't care. All she knew was that she had to get them out of there and fast before they were all good as dead. She carefully eyed the man, making sure he was away from Adam and her father.

If need be she'd have no choice but to anger him and get to her so she could shoot him. When the man had finally had enough he stormed over and before Jordan could react she raised her arm up and fired off shots.
