Summary/Disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Contaminated Crusaders. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own MHA Shonen Jump, Kohei Horikoshi and a few others do.
Aace was getting better at using his quirk. He managed to hold the 3 soda cans still enough. Mina aimed a shot of acid at the cans while humming.
Aace blinked as Mina landed a spackle of acid on the corner of the can. Aace blinked and dropped the smoking can. Aace began to spin the cans through the air.
"Trying to mix it up?" Mina asked Aace before chucking with amusement. "Seriously, dude? We've been doing this for 10 minutes. NOW you want to try tricks?" Mina questioned Aace who chuckled once more.
"Hey, I have to practice as well if you forgot." Aace stated to Mina. "Besides? The last time you tried your quirk, you almost got some of the acid on me. You know what that stuff does to skin." Aace added while Mina nodded.
"Fine, I'll dial it back… But don't make it too tough." Mina said while she readied another blast of acid.
"Why, scared your miss?" Aace questioned with a smile, Mina rolled her eyes but said nothing at the moment.
Aace liked the fact that Mina was skilled enough to hit the bottles or at the very least? Knick both of them which was good enough to burn them.
Aace dropped the melting garbage and brushed off his hands. He let out a sigh and ran his fingers over his temples.
"Another headache?" Mina questioned while Aace nodded and sighed. "Their getting worse?" Mina asked as Aace sighed while leaning on the piece of stone near him.
"Yeah, but their part of my quirk, Min." Aace stated while rubbing at his temples once more. "It's what happens when I have to strain to try and lift stuff. Just give me a second, ok?" Aace said while grabbing at the bottle of aspirin.
He put two in the cap and then dumped them down his mouth. Aace turned to Mina while the medicine started to kick in.
Aace dropped his hands from his head. He let out a grunt before sighing and cracked his neck.
"Ok, I'm good at the moment." Aace stated while he started to focus more on using his quirk once more.
Aace watched Mina who waited to make sure her friend was ok before continuing. Mina was a lot of things, but she wasn't willing to try and push her friends past her limits.
Mina watched as Aace stated to levitate more cans and bottles into the air. Aace let out a yawn and rubbed at his eyes.
"Sorry, I'm tired, it's very exhausting to try this and all that." Aace said while Mina tried to blast at the bottles and knock them all out of the air.
"You know they aren't going to let you take aspirin into the school." Mina said before letting out a frown and then turning to the side. "The drugs stuff and such." Mina added as Aace hummed before throwing the bottles up.
Mina started trying to flick blasts of acid upwards. Aace counted the amount of times she would hit a bottle before it hit the ground.
4, the other 6 hit the ground while Aace grunted and rubbed at his temples once more. Mina let out a sigh and then turned to Aace.
"Ok, we're done." Mina said while Aace hummed. He panted and then leaned back on the stone.
"Ok…" Aace said, he slid down to the ground. Mina bent down to try and say something.
Mina could see the fact that Aace was tired, his pupils were dilated. Mina could see the fact that Aace had shallow breathes.
"Min, I'm gonna be fine when we go to school sooner or later." Aace put in while Mina nodded. "I'm going to have if I'm going to be a student." Aace added as he looked over up at the bottles which sat over by his feet.
"You don't have to kill yourself to be a superhero, dude." Mina put forward. Aace said nothing and struggled to his feet.
Mina started to help her friend towards the exit. Aace sighed and slowly followed after his friend. Aace's eyes drooped while looking over at Mina.
Mina opened the door before Aace walked right after her. Aace hummed once more as he looked around.
"Should I point out just how much it sucks that your quirk just damages your skin?" Aace asked Mina who said nothing. "Mine physically hurts my head and it's straining my brain." Aace put forward while Mina hummed and nodded.
Mina slowly helped her friend towards his home. Mina slowly supported his weight as the duo slowly walked towards home. Aace hummed once more while letting out another yawn.
"Dude? You can thank me later." Mina stated as she slowly walked Aace and herself towards the home.
Aace said nothing while drooping slowly. Mina could only smirk. Aace rolled his eyes.

Phew, another chapter done! I want to point out that Mina and Aace will be more friends and all this. Next chapter will be in a week or 2 and will show Mina and Aace slowly starting to attend U.A and such. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!
