Summary/Disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Contaminated Crusaders. Enjoy the 1200-word chapter. I don't own MHA Shonen Jump, Kohei Horikoshi and a few others do.

"Do you constantly have to shoot acid like that!?" Aace questioned Mina. He let out a sigh before looking at the ground.

The duo were busy training in Aace's backyard. Since the duo had agreed to meet up to train once a night? Aace had turned it into a training ground for the duo to brawl in without destroying everything around them.

Mina backflipped into a crouch. The duo had left their shoes at the back door. Aace was surprised beyond belif that her parents allowed Mina to stay over anyone's house.

"Mina, your acid blasts aren't a match for magnet mastery." Aace stated before crossing his arms. He smirked before throwing a bottle at Mina which she spun aroun.

Aace was impressed at the least that Mina was adapt at dodging things so quickly.

Then again? It wasn't like she gave him much reason to be surprised at this.

"Mina, how exactly are you so quick?" Aace questioned as he raised his eyebrow at Mina who smiled.

"I dance all the time!" Mina yelled which caused Aace to sigh and scratch at the back of his head.

Was Aace scared of Mina? No, besides her quirk? Aace was starting to realize Mina was as sweet as a puppy.

His mom was another story, waking her up was something NOBODY wanted to try.

"Shh…" Aace stated before cracking his back. "My mom will kill us if she wakes up." Aace added and brushed off his sliver pajama pants. They clashed with Mina's black tank top that made her look more like an alien then before. It didn't help that Mina could clearly see Aace levitating the objects before he threw them.

"You sure your mom is cool with me staying over tonight?" Mina asked as Aace rolled his eyes and looked at the Alien inspired pants Mina wore. "Well?" Mina asked before flinging a drop of acid at Aace.

"Yeah, she's fine." Aace said before blocking it with a piece of rusted scrap metal. "What about your family, they're not worried something bad will happen?" Aace questioned as he dropped the remaining pieces of scrap.

Aace brushed off his arms. It was slowly starting to get easy trying to deal with the problems of his quirk. It was starting to feel more like he would pass out if he pushed his quirk too much.

He would take that over a thousand headaches. Aace hummed and then turned before opening the door before turning to Mina.

"Not really, my parents are cool with me hanging out with other people." Mina said before she walked inside. Aace hummed and walked inside before he closed the door behind him. "Oh, did you find out about the super hero look that I made up?" Mina asked Aace who only hummed and cracked his knuckles.

"You already came up with your costume already?" Aace questioned Mina before she nodded and ran to get the sketchbook Aace let her borrow.

Aace hummed once more before letting out a yawn. He was tired, yes… But school didn't open for another week or so. It gave the duo something to look forward to.

"Yeah, come see!" Mina shouted only for Aace to sigh. Mina giggled meekly and shushed at the moment. Aace was glad at least his friend knew he could get in trouble.

Aace walked across the living room. It took him a minute to navigate around the sofa which sat right in front of the glass coffee table.

"Put it on the table then, Mi." Aace said before sitting on the couch. He was glad the two had chosen to sleep in the living room… Aace knew his parents would never stop teasing him if he went and put the sleepover in his room.

Aace watched as Mina plopped down the notepad. Aace wished his costume design was finished, he kept redesigning it to work better.

"Why do you have a bola around your neck?" Aace asked as he looked at the drawing. Mina kicked her feet in the air as she plopped down on the couch behind him.

"Uh, because my neck is cold?" Mina said like it was the most obvious thing in the world. Aace rolled his eyes and continued to look over it.

"Why are your arms exposed anyway? It just makes them an open target." Aace questioned as Mina looked at Aace's sketches for a costume.

"Dude, my quirk is acid making. It comes from my skin, you know." Mina stated while Aace shrugged at the logic. It made sense in hindsight. "Your costume looks really hi tech, like ironman or something." Mina said before Aace turned to look over his shoulder at her.

"That's because it's supposed to be light armor that I can control with my quirk… Mi? You really need to make the costume acid proof." Aace stated before blushing slightly. "Unless you want to be running around in your birthday suit…" Aace said before twirling his pencil around.

Aace suddenly felt really uncomfortable and shook the thoughts off. He was gladder than anything that Mina couldn't see his blush in the low moonlight.

"Well, the school does have someone who modifies costumes… I think." Mina said as Aace looked over his shoulder at her again.

"Oh, you think?" Aace said with a smirk before Mina flicked him in the back of the head. "Ow. Anyway, your costume looks fine… Alien Queen is your title though? A little on the nose, eh, pinky?" Aace questioned before Mina took the notepad and smacked his back with it.

Aace reared up like a wounded animal, his mouth frozen in a silent shriek as he regarded what Mina did for a second before grunting.

"Point made." Aace muttered to himself which cracking his back. "But my costume is supposed to be metal, Mia. It's supposed to protect me… And if I'm right? Let me fly around using it." Aace said before twirling his pencil between his fingers.

"You think your quirk is strong enough to lift you into the air?" Mina asked as Aace nodded. "Wow, I didn't think you were strong enough to lift someone up." Mina said before Aace raised an eyebrow at her.

While Aace knew he couldn't do anything like throw tanks or anything… Not yet, at least. Aace did know his quirk was strong enough to lift heavy objects. He was able to lift things life safes and steel beams as far as he knew.

"Well, least I don't have to worry about melting everything." Aace said before Mina raised her notepad to smack Aace with it.

Aace responded by levitating it out of her hands by the metal loops. Mina shook her head as the two teens settled in to discuss costume ideas.

Author Notes

Phew. Another chapter done! I want to point out Mina is supposed to be much more upbeat and kinder while Aace is more nerdy, shy and snarky. Next chapter will be in a week and will show more of the sleepover and Aace and Mina bonding. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!

P.S: Next chapter is 1200-900 words long and Rumi is 900 words long this week or in 2 weeks.
