Summary/Disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Contaminated Crusaders. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own MHA Shonen Jump, Kohei Horikoshi and a few others do.

"Seriously, why a hood?" Mina asked while kicking her feet back and forth. Aace could only hum and crack his fingers.

"Because one, it looks cool." Aace stated while he let out a yawn and typed on his computer. "Two, because the cloak hides my appearance. Which helps with stealth missions. Three? Because I want to." Aace stated as he looked at Mina. "You think creating a costume is that easy?" Aace asked while pretending to be shocked.

Mina said nothing and merely rolled her eyes. She wasn't about to argue with Aace considering he didn't bring up much issue with her costume. Then again? Aace did point out it seemed more like fashion over function.

The drawings/sketches he was making of both costumes didn't really help.

"Ok, I'll make the stuff more acid proof. It isn't like it's going to melt off my skin." Mina stated which caused Aace to raise an eyebrow at her. "Hey, you're the one making hi tech armor." Mina said while pointing her pencil at her sketch.

"Because I can control metal." Aace said while pointing at Mina's bola over her neck. "Your costume looks more like something a diva would wear. It doesn't seem that practical for combat." Aace said and crossed his arms. He started to reach over before sighing.

"Least my quirk helps with this." Aace said before his fingers glowed with blackish blue energy. He used his quirk to slid the soda cans towards him. "I'm glad at least I can handle little things without a headache." Aace said and rubbed at his temples. He almost smacked himself in the face with the bundle of soda cans.

Mina giggled while Aace rolled his eyes and offered the pack to her.

"Should I also point out we're supposed to bring these into the school to create?" Aace asked while Mina blinked. "They don't let us make the costumes ourselves." Aace stated as Mina sighed.

"Seriously?" Mina asked only to get a nod from Aace. Aace wiped off his mouth before turning away. He quickly used his quirk to toss the can into the garbage. "Ok, now your just being lazy with it, dude." Mina said while narrowing her eyes.

"Would you like to get yelled at by my parents for making too much noise?" Aace questioned Mina while getting a nod. "Anyway, yes. We do have to get our costumes made at the school. I'm guessing they don't want us making stuff that we can use outside of classes and such." Aace stated before tapping a few keys on his computer.

"Well, there goes my idea to make acid pellets." Mina said before Aace looked at her once again. "Uh, pellets meant to dissolve things?" Mina asked Aace who could only shrug and let out a hum.

"I wouldn't exactly think that's school appropriate." Aace said as he continued to check the computer. "Besides, I want to point out that we're supposed to go through 'hero classes.' I guess they want to see if we're fit to be sidekicks or heroes. I really don't want to end up as a sidekick, though." Aace said while rubbing at his temples in exhaustion.

"Yeah, tell me about it." Mina stated as Aace chuckled and let out a hum. "Do you think we should call it a night?" Mina asked Aace who shrugged. He drummed his fingers on the pack of soda right next to him.

"I don't know, I'm going to wait till the sugar wears off." Aace said while cracking open another soda. "It helps that you can't exactly sleep after you drank soda… For very obvious reasons if you want me to point it out?" Aace stated and narrowed his eyes slightly.

"Well, do you have anything else to talk about?" Mina asked as Aace hummed and shrugged his shoulders again. "Ok, smart guy. You tell me what we're going to do tonight, then?" Mina asked as a devious smirk split across her face.

"Ok. One?" Aace said while gently poking Mina with his pencil. "You can stop assuming… That." Aace said with a blush hid only by the dull moonlight of the room. Aace cleared his throat for a moment.

"Two? I'd think a board game is better considering… The fact that a video game would make way too much noise and get my parents ticked off." Aace said while cracking his back. "Also, my back is killing me. I'm not used to sitting on the floor this much. I think that's the reason mom bought a sofa when she moved here." Aace added as Mina hummed.

Aace looked at the sofa in question before letting out another yawn. He stood up and went to go and find the bathroom. If he was going to stay up for much longer?

He wasn't doing it with a bad bladder to go along with it.

Author Notes

Phew. Another chapter done! I want to point out that Mina and Aace are going to go through the school together, but they won't get together for a while. Next chapter will be in a week and will show Aace and Mina heading to school and meeting other students and such. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!

P.S: Rumi is 900 words Monday; Other stories are iffy currently.
