This is the next chapter of my story. While I doubt it will be as long as the Prologue, it should still be good enough. This chapter will introduce two new Titans and continue the stories of the two already introduced. Also, I've made an important decision. There are only about 35 Titan individuals in the MonsterVerse, and a good chunk of those are dead. I'd also rather not resort to making an OC just yet. Thus, I've decided to toss in some more Toho kaiju in this story. Well, I already brought in Zilla, so why not bring in more? To anyone here before, this is a rewrite of the previous version of this chapter. For anyone new, I hope you enjoy this!
Manpupener Rock Formations, Russia
Monarch Outpost 66 was built around the slumbering Titanus Amhuluk. Despite the Outpost's proximity to the rock formations, a popular tourist attraction, the site was played off as a Russian military outpost.
Amhuluk itself was moved into a large chamber, where reinforced walls would keep it contained, and as it slumbered, Monarch could study it.
As the Alpha Call rang out across the planet, it soon passed the Ural Mountains and reached Monarch Outpost 66. When it did, Titanus Amhuluk began to awaken.
Amhuluk awoke with a start.
It was always so sudden for him. Waking up. Sleeping.
Amhuluk softly growled, his ten yellow eyes blinking all at once.
The decaying mass of plants that made up his body began to move once more.
The Inundator turned his head. His surroundings were still fuzzy, and the colors looked off.
The blue-black creature turned his gaze, his various yellow eyes staring at the space right next to his body.
Right. She's long dead. Forget about her... Focus on the present.
Amhuluk slowly stood up. His telekinetically assembled body creaked and shook a bit as dead and rotting plant matter fell loose.
He briefly stared at various logs, clumps of moss, and other flora that now littered the ground.
He groaned in annoyance. This happens every single time he wakes up from dormancy.
His assembled body slowly rots and decays over time, it always does. He always replaces it and shapes it as he decays.
Yet, that can't happen while he's asleep.
His mind can't focus on adding new plants to his body if he's unconscious.
Yet, there's a question he has to answer.
While making sure his body of plants is in good shape is a high priority, there's only one thing that matters more. The orders of the Alpha.
That Alpha call... It's not Gojira. It's certainly not him. He knows the roar of the Atomic Breather. This is not him.
He doesn't know who it is.
It's not a Divine Moth, that's for sure. Mosura wouldn't do this. She wouldn't perform an Alpha Call while Gojira is still in charge. She cares for all life too. She wouldn't want any creatures wiped out unless the situation is extremely dire.
It's not Baphomet either. He may have only heard his call once, but this is not it.
It almost sounds like... three calls? Odd.
The roar is not from an Ape. He knows those overgrown monkeys. He would never listen to one of them anyway. Not on his life.
He'd sooner challenge an Atomic Breather than bend to the will of one of them, and that's saying something.
Good thing it's not an Ape. Those stupid things should all be dead.
There are other Alpha Species, but they were defeated long ago. They are all either dead, fled Underground, or are unlikely to ever try and reclaim their spot again.
Then, who could it be?
Their message is easy for even the dumbest kaiju to understand. Awaken from slumber. Destroy the bipeds. Obey your Alpha.
Amhuluk does not know why the Alpha wants the bipeds destroyed. After all, what have they done?
They're tiny, harmless to creatures as big as them, and not that advanced, and while they are far more numerous compared to the Titans, there are not that many of them.
Having enough thinking, Amhuluk turned his attention back to his surroundings.
Everything is flat, grey, and weird.
What the hell is this stuff? He sniffed the air but didn't get any particular smell he knew.
Hm... I wonder...
Amhuluk closed his many eyes and focused his mind solely on the strange grey matter in front of him.
His telekinetic powers tried to interact with it.
He attempted what he always does with plants. Lift it off the ground, float it through the air towards his body, and meld it into his artificial arms or back.
He didn't get any response at all. He opened his eyes, surprised to see that absolutely nothing had moved.
This stuff isn't made of plants. So, no making it part of my body. His power only works on plant matter, dead or alive.
He can try using his telekinetic abilities all he wants on rocks, dirt, or living animals, but it just never will work.
Yet, if this weird grey thing isn't made of plants, and it doesn't look like normal rocks, then what is it?
Looking around, Amhuluk realized that he is surrounded by this grey material. Am I in some sort of cave? I didn't go dormant in a cave. This is weird...
Even weirder, for a completely closed-off space that should be very dark, it is still brightly lit. Looking upwards, there's no way sunlight could get in here, yet some strange smaller bright things are lighting up the cave.
The Inundator quickly had enough of this situation. He wanted out of whatever this place is.
He slowly walked towards one of the strange cave walls. Up close, it doesn't appear to be flat and smooth. It's not rocky and jagged though.
It's more bumpy and weird than he thought it would be.
He lifted one of his assembled limbs to it. His four claws scraped against it. Despite them only being made of hardened plant matter, they easily scratched the strange thing. Not very resistant.
Amhuluk then pushed hard against the strange surface. He was surprised when it easily gave way. The entire thing collapsed outwards, taking the kaiju with it.
As the dust settled, the plant Titan groaned in pain. If the rest of his body is damaged, he doesn't feel a thing. This time, his head was part of what hit the ground, causing some pain.
He stood back up, using one of his limbs to rub the side of his head. Ugh, that hurt. Okay... Guess I'm outside now...
He's no longer within that cave if he could even call it that. Looking back, he didn't see a mountain. Instead, it looks like some sort of weird square-shaped thing.
Then, an explosion suddenly went off near one of his legs. Amhuluk yelped in surprise, lifting the limb off the ground quickly.
He breathed a sigh of relief upon seeing that there are no flames on him. Being caught on fire would be disastrous for a kaiju like him. Being made of plants telekinetically is both a blessing and curse for his kind.
Now, what caused that small fireball? He briefly looked up at the sky and was relieved to see not a single Volcanic Pterosaur. Well, Rodan, specifically. He's the last one.
Then, two more went off. He also felt many small things hitting his head rapidly, almost like raindrops. He stumbled trying to avoid the explosions.
Then, he saw them. Two small things without legs and strange long things at the front. Alongside the two strange beasts, there are about a dozen or so bipeds.
So... These are the things the new Alpha wants us to kill? Insignificant beings. Why would I attack them?
He could hear them shouting... something. He can't understand them. Then, the two bigger things moved, and another two explosions rang out, one of them on one of his legs. Ah! Crap!
He quickly stamped his leg and rubbed it against the ground, desperate to put out the flames. He didn't feel any pain, as the limb is an artificial construct, not a natural part of his body.
He snarled, the freakish roar startling many of the bipeds. Okay, now I can see why these things need to be wiped out! He charged forward, roaring. In a few seconds flat, he reached them.
One swipe of a claw crushed or killed most of the bipeds. The remainder were sent scrambling away in fear. He turned his yellow eyes to the two strange things. They almost look like... they're made of metal?
He telekinetically extended one of his limbs. In a move they surely didn't expect, he crushed both of them. His limb went back to normal, acting as a normal walking limb rather than a stretchy weapon.
There was only one biped left near him. The rest either lay broken on the ground or had long since fled.
He leaned his head down, and he is now only a few feet from it. He can't see the thing's facial features or eyes. Must be using some biped invention to cover it up. Strange beings.
He actually can't see any tan skin. Instead, it looks green, like the surrounding forests.
The biped is holding... something. The Apes tended to use crude weapons like axes and spears made of trees. Maybe this is a biped equivalent of that?
He blinked, his yellow eyes wide in curiosity. He made a low rumbling sound in his throat.
All of a sudden, his vision was engulfed by flames. The heat seared at his head, the temperature burning him.
Amhuluk roared in agony, quickly backing away from the biped. His eyes closed tightly, and he blindly began hitting his head with his claws, trying to pat out the flames.
After several agonizing seconds, the flames subsided.
Finally opening his ten yellow eyes, he looked angrily for that biped. It must have run off. He can't see it.
Since when could they breathe flames? I'm starting to agree with the Alpha on this...
Walking away from the strange cave thing and the smoking ruins of those legless metal things, he came to a clearing with a few rock formations. He recognized the seven rock pillars. These stone formations are smaller than him but taller than any of those bipeds.
One of his territories' many natural wonders. From this vantage point, he could see sprawling forests consisting of one type of tree.
His territory. That's something he's proud of. It was always a struggle for him to find and hold his turf. The last time he had a stable home before this one was when she... Best not to think of that.
Yet, he could do much better. He had to settle for this isolated tundra that freezes sometimes and is in the middle of the continent. There are only two other Titans that live within reasonable walking distance last he checked.
Megaguirus and her hive stay further south, and both would rather keep it that way. As for the third... He shuddered. Prime was rumored to have fled to the cold wastes further east of here not long after she put Dagon on borrowed time.
Although, Amhuluk and Megaguirus never encountered the leader of the Jinshin-Mushi.
The more he thought about his current situation, he came to accept the orders of this new Alpha.
His southern neighbor will probably accept the call. Her swarm has fed on the bipeds for a while. As for himself, he's on board with the decision.
Yes, he did feel somewhat bad for Mosura and Gojira. The Atomic Breather must be dead. He would never give up his title while alive, not even to his symbiotic partner. That means if someone new is in charge, he must be gone now.
As for Mosura, she cares greatly for all life, and those bipeds even built a "temple" for her at one point. He did not doubt in his mind that she would challenge whoever this new one is.
The bipeds have already attacked him without provocation.
That settles it then. I'm siding with the new Alpha.
Amhuluk began to leave the Manpupuner rock formations, unsure of where to go or what this whole thing will lead to. He only has one goal now in serving the Alpha. Destroy every biped he comes across.
West of Houston, Texas
Monarch Outpost 8 is just one of many that have a Titan residing within the borders of the United States.
Being one of the first Outposts named, this early discovery was a marvel for the organization.
This Titan is one of the first to be seen as essentially an oversized version of their normal relatives.
Almost no traces of earlier mythology or legends locally or anywhere else on the planet showed this Titan.
Initial studies showed that this kaiju is one of the smallest Titans, and far weaker.
Titanus Kamacuras, as with all the others, lies dormant.
Ghidorah's Alpha Call is about to change that.
After a long time of being slumped over without so much as a twitch, Kamacuras was slow to wake up. His yellow eyes took a while to examine his strange new surroundings.
His limbs stood stiff for a moment.
After a bit of strain, his scythe limbs began to move. His most effective weapons, and also the only ones he has.
The Giant Mantis took his first few steps, his four back legs moving for the first time in millions of years.
The blueish-green kaiju groaned.
He despised going into dormancy. He almost decided to just screw the orders of the Alpha and stay awake anyway.
That was until Gojira showed up to his territory and made him comply.
He just couldn't understand how the rest of them go through this so easily.
It feels so off to him. Sleeping for an extremely long time. No eating or drinking at all during this period either. They also age at a slower rate while dormant.
That doesn't mean an older Titan can't pass in their sleep, but going dormant is part of what helps certain species last longer.
The way it works for all species just seems confusing to him. He never understood it.
Kamacuras looked around, his yellow eyes quickly picked up that something was very wrong.
What... This isn't my forest. What is this place?
His colors stand out a lot more here than in the forest that was once around him. It's all shades of grey and dull colors. Not quite as dark as Gojira's scales, but not very bright either.
Above him, there's the open sky. A few puffy clouds are rolling by, but the day is clear and warm.
More than anything, he was confused by his new surroundings.
Then, he saw something moving.
He turned left and looked down.
A few minuscule creatures are looking up at him in fear.
Hm. These must be those biped things Mosura cares for so much. Now, why are you small ones here?
His cry went unanswered by them. This is just getting weirder. It looks like he's in a strange cave without a ceiling and a bunch of bipeds are in here too.
The Giant Mantis paused, much to the confusion of the people near him.
Kamacuras was listening. A call rang through the air. The roar reverberated out again and again.
Awaken from slumber. Destroy the bipeds. Obey your Alpha.
That's not Gojira. It's not another Alpha Call he recognizes. This is someone new.
Well... Orders are orders. Sorry bipeds.
Kamacuras leaped forward with alarming speed, and before any of his foes could react, the mantis cut them all down where they stood.
Then, a loud noise rang out. Along with it, the place he is in was suddenly bathed in a red glow. He shrunk back in panic, looking around in worry. He has a bad feeling about this.
Then, several more bipeds came in through an opening in this place.
Most of them look strange, and one of them is white. There's also a smaller one.
More of them? Well, this is going easier than I thought it would.
He moved forward again, a screeching sound filling the air. His roar seemed to frighten most of them.
The one in white is holding something...
Right, don't focus on the details. They're going to be dead anyways.
He leaped forward again, his sharp scythe-like limbs ready to kill.
He was seconds away from destroying this group of bipeds when he heard a roar.
Stop. Be calm. Stop. Be calm.
He paused, looking around. He was suddenly scared himself. An Alpha? Around here?
This isn't the one who ordered him to destroy the bipeds. It sort of sounds like Gojira's call, but distinct. Different in a way.
Oh! O-Of course!
He looked back at the bipeds. Then, he heard the call repeat. It almost sounds like it's coming from... them?
Kamacuras opened up his delicate wings. They are how he flies. He can still walk and jump, but without those, he'd stand no chance against predators.
His see-through wings began flapping rapidly, so much so that it became a blur to see. He gave himself a bit of a push off the ground using his legs. He went upwards, right through the opening.
He hovered in place, turning his head to look around. The blue-green mantis didn't see any Atomic Breathers around. Then... maybe it is them.
He stopped flapping his wings, letting himself fall the short distance back to the ground.
The strange cave still shook when he landed, and some of the bipeds even fell over.
He approached them, his head leaning down. His yellow eyes examined each one of them. Most of them looked at him in fear and insecurity. One just seemed cold and calculated, maybe smiling. He appears older, the hair on him looking white and grey.
His gaze settled on the one he assumed to be the youngest of the bipeds. She looks shorter, with brown fur on her head.
He leaned down more, the bottom of his head nearly touching the cold floor. His mouth remained closed.
That strange Alpha Call continued to ring in his ears. He stayed calm. He will be peaceful.
The gazes of the others had turned to wonder and curiosity.
It's kind of funny. Just a few minutes ago, one Alpha ordered him to kill these small things.
Then, another Alpha told him to be calm and stop attacking.
He did just kill a few. Now, he's calmly standing in front of a different group.
Kamacuras was drawn from his thoughts when he felt a light touch on his head.
His yellow buggy eyes quickly figured it out. The small biped is touching him. One hand outstretched, touching him.
Her skin feels soft and weird, different from his own.
He made a low call, the sound making her pull back. She is still smiling.
Huh. Guess you bipeds aren't bad. Mosura is right about that.
Then, he heard that call again. It's coming from somewhere nearby.
Don't attack the humans. Be free. It repeated a few times.
The Giant Mantis paused. Be... free... No orders?
He chirped in happiness. He opened up his wings again and began to fly. He went through the opening and left.
Whoever that other Alpha is... He's worried about that. He wants the bipeds dead. The one that made him stop... Those two will certainly fight.
For now, he'll stay around here. This is his territory. For now, he won't attack the bipeds. Just like the voice said. Although, if they attack him unprovoked, he won't hesitate to side with the new Alpha and attack their nearest bunch of nests.
For now, he'll follow that strange body-less Alpha. What it said. He'll follow it, for now.
Be calm. Be free.
Isla de Mara, Mexico
Ichi looked down at the form of Rodan in disdain.
Their foe has now bowed down to them.
A coward.
Rodan has fought them countless times, a worthy ally of Mosura and Gojira. At, he was.
Now, just like most of the others, the Fire Demon serves them.
The center head snarled, growling down at Rodan.
Firebird. Rise.
The Volcanic Pterosaur stopped bowing and turned his gaze up to them.
Yes... Alpha?
Ichi could tell that Rodan was not happy with this situation. Well, he's about to make it worse. And why not do that by making him destroy Mosura's treasured bipeds?
It appears that the biped presence on this island has been destroyed. Go to the mainland, and continue. Once you have made significant progress, report back to us.
Rodan grit his teeth. While his eyes showed obedience and a bit of fear, he was internally upset. He never imagined that Ghidorah would ever win, and now, that horrible nightmare is a reality.
A sharp roar from Ni got his attention. Get going before I rip your head off.
Without a word, Rodan flapped his wings and left his island. He'd return eventually. That Mountain of Fire is his home. He'll just destroy whatever biped presence is around here.
He wouldn't be gone for long. Of course, he'd spend some time attacking their homes. Then, he'll stop. However, he could use an excuse for not going on for that long. His wings got tired... Yeah, that's a good excuse.
King Ghidorah watched Rodan leave.
San turned to the right head. Was that threat necessary? I think he would have complied anyway.
Ni growled in annoyance. San isn't usually that nice to everyone, but why did he have to be the kindest out of the trio?
Ichi grabbed Ni's horns and pulled his head upright. He then did the same to San.
Both of you, focus. Just because we've ordered others to do our bidding, doesn't mean we still can't contribute.
San chittered in agreement. Yeah! Um... What was that saying? If you want something done right, do it yourself. Was that it?
Both center and right heads confirmed that he is right about that.
San and Ni each began to flap their wings on their respective sides. After a moment, Ghidorah's golden form left behind Rodan's island.
He headed northwest.
The trio occasionally launched their electrical attacks at biped metal things sent after them. The resistance from those strange metal birds was futile. The flocks of them were destroyed every single time or fled with only a few remaining.
After some time, they reached a more dry area. A desert. They encountered a few biped places scattered throughout these lands.
At one point, they came across a heavily defended biped place. The fight began to stop Monster Zero in Chihuahua, Mexico.
The False King roared in fury and explosions rang out around him. Gravity beams melted anything they touched, turning any bipeds caught in the yellow bolts to ash.
Metal birds screeched by through the air, struggling against the eternally powerful storm.
The Devil with Three Heads showed no mercy, and the entire area was left in ruins within hours.
Ghidorah chittered in accomplishment, with Ni in particular very happy with the chaos they caused.
They knew that there had to be survivors scattered everywhere. They expected that.
In the back of their heads, the trio knew that it may be impossible to completely exterminate every last one of them. At the very least, if they could kill a good majority of them, that would be preferable.
If the bipeds were brought near extinction, they would not pose a threat anymore. At that point, they could be left alone.
As The Three-Headed Devil flew across the desert, torrential rains flooded the dry ground, soaking the land in a flood of unavoidable water.
The wind blew away anything not strong enough to stay down. it whipped at anything flying through it, the Titan included.
Ghidorah himself was far too powerful and enormous for the gusts to be anything more than an annoyance. After all, they were the ones controlling this powerful storm.
Then, another biped place was in sight. Yet, Ichi quickly noticed that smoke was already rising into the air. He could smell the burning wood and metal as the stench choked the air.
Metal birds flew everywhere, yet their target did not appear to be the Golden Devil.
Bipeds ran across the ground, their metal land things firing at another target.
Phoenix, Arizona was already under threat by another kaiju. Titanus Scylla.
Ichi roared orders at the other heads. Disperse the storm! His call was barely audible above the shrieking wind and pounding rain of their storm. It had grown two powerful.
Scylla stumbled towards the other Titan.
She was struggling in these conditions. Explosions and metal birds still were a common sight, reminding them both of the constant biped presence.
Scylla had her eyes narrowed and tried staying close to the ground. her movements were shaky, and all of her legs moved slowly.
Her white eyes looked up in fear and desperation at the Alpha.
Alpha! I can't stay in this weather! What's with this storm!? Her call quickly got the attention of the middle head.
He looked down at the cephalopod.
Then, the storm began to lose intensity rapidly. The howling wind still raged on, but far weaker and less impactful on the giant creatures.
The rain slowed to a constant pattern, but now it was a normal rainstorm, not the hurricane levels of earlier.
Scylla's shell glistened with the water flowing down it. Her tentacles moved a bit as she looked up at Ghidorah.
San chittered first. Scylla. Hello! Do you remember us?
Ni growled in annoyance. Ichi seemed calm with this. He'd let San do the talking for once. It got annoying having to take charge when dealing with other Titans. Besides that, San is the friendliest of the three, so he handles interactions peacefully more often.
Scylla looked a bit surprised at the friendly response. She chattered in reply. Of course, Alpha. It's hard to forget someone as powerful as you. That, and...
She paused, knowing that she would do well not to mention the constant battles between Ghidorah and Gojira in times long past.
The left head didn't seem to notice that part. Instead, his chitter was a question. How are the efforts going here for you?
The brown-colored kaiju glanced around, her white eyes darting in a few directions. Good. I awoke from slumber not far from here and found the closest big biped place. I was doing well until you dragged your storm over here.
Ni seemed to take that as an insult, but before he could intervene, Ichi quickly put him in his place. A hushed call made Ni internally grumble but comply.
Ichi lost interest in the short conversation. Scylla is one of the few Titans that was neutral to the Golden Hydra in the days long gone. She wanted the bipeds dead but still followed Gojira willingly. San and Scylla briefly continued, at least until they were interrupted by a sudden biped bombardment.
Droves of metal birds flew by, and explosions hit both of them. San quickly lifted his wing, shielding Ghidorah and Scylla from the blasts. Yes, the explosions and heat briefly hurt all across his wing, but better there than his head and body.
Ichi took charge, roaring at the other two heads. They both fired their golden bolts of electricity into the sky, striking down dozens of the metal birds, explosions filling the air.
He leaned his head down to be at Scylla's eye level. Can you handle this yourself?
Scylla didn't respond. Instead, she made the best fearsome call she could, and used her legs to destroy many biped nests, as well as crushing them under the pointed ends of her six legs.
The Golden Hydra took to the sky, leaving behind this desert biped nest clump. Scylla could handle this.
As his golden wings took the Alpha west, he left behind the deserts.
Now, it's sprawling forests.
Ghidorah started up their storm again, but this time made sure to keep its power in check. If they put too much energy into it again, they would have a repeat of that blunder with Scylla.
Somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean
Kraken moved gracefully through the water.
Her tentacles moved rhythmically as she pushed past rocks and stones.
The underwater terrain around here is pretty treacherous.
There aren't many normal animals around here.
Then, her bright blue eyes noticed something swimming nearby.
Turning away from her course, she spotted a colossal squid.
Despite being called that, the red creature's size compared to her is nothing.
Just one of her tentacles is longer than the entirety of this similar animal.
Her blue eyes looked fondly at the red thing.
The sight of this other sea-dwelling creature reminded her of her kind.
Unlike other species that had been pushed to the brink of being completely wiped out, she chose to focus on the positives of still being alive. After all, if she is sulking about being the last of her kind, then she'd be miserable for the rest of the centuries she has to live through.
Even if there isn't another one like herself, Kraken has many friends among other species. Manda is a nice serpent to be around.
Leviathan isn't very social, but when he does open up, it almost gets annoying how long he can keep a conversation going.
Then, there's Gezora.
There was always some strange feeling whenever she was near that blue creature.
They may be different kinds, but the two are just so similar in a lot of ways.
Gezora tends to be near Kamoebas and Ganimes.
The trio is so close that they even call each other "brothers".
Looking at what's good is what has allowed her to forget about being the last Colorful Cephalopod.
The colossal squid, alarmed by the sight of the giant Kraken, quickly fled as far as it could.
Na Kika moved on. While thinking was always a good way to pass time in the ocean depths, it won't get her any closer to finding Gojira.
Margygr made a low cry, the call echoing out into the surrounding waters.
Oh, how much she'd give just to have someone to be with.
Being alone in the depths was never easy, despite trying to think positively.
There was only such a Titan could do to avoid loneliness.
Tiamat isn't very friendly to anyone but loves to spar, and is more than willing to silently listen and let another aquatic kaiju vent about their problems.
Margygr was never that friendly. She's even attacked her multiple times. Despite all of that, no kaiju deserved the fate that befell the Purple Swimmer. Hopefully, she's resting peacefully now, whatever happens after one breathes their last breath.
Ebirah is an isolated coward that won't usually be near anyone. Thus, he prefers to stick to more desolate regions like the cold waters at either end of the oceans, north, and south.
Gezora... It always seemed awkward or strange whenever the two met. She was always nervous and felt weird around him, the blue cephalopod appeared to react similarly.
Manda was arguably the friendliest aquatic creature, even if he spent a good chunk of time on land, having legs and all... He's playful, curious, and quite caring of certain individuals.
Na Kika was drawn back into reality once more when she lightly bumped into a rock pillar.
She grunted in pain, her blue eyes looking in a strange annoyance at the grey rocks.
She swiped at it with several of her tentacles, obliterating it. The pillar was shattered into many pieces, and remnants sunk to the ocean floor around it. The bottom is still intact, but the natural formation is now nowhere near as tall.
Kraken moved her tentacles again, propelling her forward.
It shouldn't be long now until he reaches Gojira's Lair.
Heh... That place is just so amazing.
There's just something really special about that place.
Technically, that humongous cavern is the Underground, but the only way to reach it is through one tunnel.
It used to be above water.
It was once home to a sprawling group of bipeds who worshipped Gojira.
Kind of like that "Temple" thing they made for Mosura.
She's been in there before, a long time ago.
There used to be a small river of water flowing in the middle of that place. It leads to a large open area up a small thing of strange square "steps". Whatever those are.
The bipeds that lived there are long since dead, and nearly all of it flooded by water.
Gojira still lives there.
That place is also where one kaiju now forever rests. Why Anguirus' body was taken down there, she'll never know.
The old Alpha never talked about him.
Then, she recognized the terrain.
It may have been a while since she was last here, but all these rock formations and that coral reef remain the same.
This is it.
On the side of a large underwater mountain, there's a huge hole.
A tunnel big enough for a kaiju like Gojira.
It's far bigger than her. She can get in there easily.
If the former King of the Monsters is here, he should be resting at that one higher-up flat place above water.
Na Kika swam up to the tunnel. It's dark. Her blue eyes can't see much further in.
All of a sudden, she felt a strange movement in the water nearby.
It's not a Titan, that's for sure. Although, the disturbance still feels big. Perhaps a whale? Or something of that size.
Kraken turned around, and her eyes widened in surprise upon seeing what was approaching. A metal fish.
Now, why are those stupid things down here!? Don't they know when to mind their own business?
A low growling sound filled the water.
Na Kika looked angrily at the metal fish.
Those land dwellers are dealing with a horde of kaiju attacking their nests and trying to drive them to extinction, and they see it fit to return here.
They deserve it, too. She doesn't like Ghidorah, but after witnessing all they have done, they have long since fallen out of her favor.
They had tried to keep her chained. To lock her up and never let her go free.
She can only imagine what they did to the other Titans.
And, if they only caged up a weaker kaiju like her, what would they do to a massive threat like Gojira?
No. She wasn't going to let them even see the Atomic Breather.
That metal fish would turn back or be destroyed in a fireball.
