Aace walked back into the rafters of the room over before removing his helmet.
"AACE!" Aace heard before rubbing at his ears in discomfort before turning to face Mina.
"Hi Mina." Aace said before rubbing at his ears. "Goodbye hearing, didn't need that anyway." Aace joked with amusement before playfully patting his ears.
"I can't believe you won!" Mina yelled while hopping on her heels. Aace chuckled with amusement at his friend's antics.
"Really, were you not watching it then?" Aace joked only to get slugged in the shoulder by Mina. "But seriously, were you ok? I heard nothing but shouting coming from the bleachers. I couldn't tell what part of it was. I had to focus on the fight at hand." Aace said while levitating his helmet over his palm.
"Uh…" Mina started to say before realizing if she said anything? She'd be giving away the talk she had with Momo and the jack's girl from before. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just a bit bored! Why do you ask?" Mina added while Aace raised an eyebrow at his friend.
"Uh… Ok?" Aace questioned Mina before turning and walking around. "I have no idea who the next fight will be against. I'm rather curious about it, though." Aace stated and put his helmet back on.
"Well, I know I'm not up soon." Mina said which made Aace hum and nod. "So, what was it like scrapping with a man with a quirk?" Mina asked Aace who turned to her with a blink.
"Uh, it was interesting." Aace said while scratching at his helmet clad head. "I swear to god if I have to deal with turrets again? I'm going to freak out. I can't believe they used turrets against someone." Aace said and crossed his arms.
"Hey, you still won, didn't you?" Mina asked Aace who nodded and let out a hum under his armored costume.
"Mina, those things could have knocked me out easy." Aace said while cracking his neck. He brushed his arms back and forth. "I'm surprised they allow those onto the battlefields." Aace said with a hum.
"Aace? They want the best heroes on the field." Mina said before giggling. "But you totally kicked his butt, though! I'm surprised you pummeled him back and forth." Mina said, throwing punches at the air in example.
Aace could only roll his eyes under his helmet in amusement.
"Yes, Mina." Aace said in a very entertained tone. "I know how to beat people up in hand to hand. I've kinda been fighting with you long enough for some of it to stick. Besides, I can't use my quirk for everything." Aace added with a yawn.
"The next match will be between Jiro Kyoka and Tsuyu Asui." The intercom put in which made Aace and Mina share a look.
"Well, I guess the next match is going to happen soon." Aace said before playfully tapping Mina on the head. "I'll go find us seats to watch the next match." Ace stated to Mina as he slowly started to walk away.
Mina blinked, she looked at the spot where Aace had tapped her on the head. Mina thought back to her talk with Momo and the girl with jacks.
"No, we've only talked for a few times." Mina whispered to herself, feeling weird to have been caught off guard so much.
It was when Aace turned and snapped his fingers to try and get Mina's attention that she was pulled from her thoughts.
"Hey, wait up!" Mina yelled before running after Aace who smiled and then turned before starting to walk out the door.
Aace loved making Mina feel uppity or such. He was starting to enjoy her hyperactive energy. He liked it more then he thought he currently would really love it.
"Are you coming or not?" Aace questioned Mina and placed his hands on his hips. "Your more athletic then I am and I'm out walking you." Aace teased Mina who promptly elbowed her friend in the arm.
"Why do you always go for the damn arms?" Aace asked with a smirk under his helmet. "Now I'm starting to be glad I put armor in this costume." Aace snarked to his friend.
"Only because you always have to make jokes." Mina said and put a finger to her lips. "Your as snarky as I am party loving!" Mina added as Aace crossed his arms.
"Only because you act like a windup toy packed with double A batteries, Mi." Aace said and hummed. "Besides? You love my snark as much as I enjoy seeing you bounce around like a giant gumball." Aace said before brushing past Mina up the stairs.
He didn't notice Mina's purple blush if only because he didn't turn around. Aace also didn't expect Mina to pause and freeze up again.
"Starting to think your more like a windup toy recently." Aace snarked as Mina blinked.

Phew. Another chapter done! I want to point out that Mina is love happy like in the comics. But is supposed to be clueless about it with a crush on someone. I also want to show Aace is the snarky nerd and Mina is the athletic dork. Next chapter will be in a week or so and will show and Mina talking about the current fight. It will also show more training between the duo and bonding. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!
