Summary/Disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Contaminated Crusaders. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own MHA Shonen Jump, Kohei Horikoshi and a few others do.
"I'm glad I'm going to be the next match." Mina said while doing a moonwalk backwards. Aace shook his head and then turned back to his computer
"Don't get cocky, Mi." Aace put in and cracked his fingers. "I got cocky…. I almost got my ass kicked by someone with a computer quirk." Aace muttered as he sighed and rubbed at his temples.
"Aace, I'll be fine." Mina put in which made Aace raise an eyebrow at her. "What? I can handle one fight!" Mina shouted as Aace rolled his eyes.
"Uh huh, you can barely handle fighting me." Aace said while using his quirk. Mina watched as he levitated his computer to the counter. "Mi? I don't mean to brag. But I barely have much training and I can still tell that you fight little better than I." Aace stated as he started turning to the side.
Aace hummed and cracked his neck before slowly straightening his back from his hunched state. He sighed and then let out a yawn.
Mina looked at her friend as she hummed and then cracked her fingers.
"How do you know I don't take it easy on you?" Mina questioned as Aace hummed and rubbed his chin. "I don't want you getting hurt. I don't put in that much effort, dude." Mina added which made Aace look to the side.
"Should I point out that you don't read the articles I do?" Aace questioned and crossed his arms. "Ok, if you know exactly who your going to fight? Tell me their name, their quirk, how you intend to defeat them…" Aace said while walking over to the computer.
He opened it up to see the next match. Aace raised an eyebrow at Mina who frowned. Aace rested his head on the keyboard.
"Take your time." Aace snarked at his friend before grabbing the computer. "We have plenty of it." Aace added and cracked his neck.
Mina snapped her fingers with annoyance. Aace sat down on the sofa.
"Like I said, take your time." Aace snarked which made Mina annoyed. Aace said nothing, not trying to anger his friend.
"You suck the fun out of everything." Mina said and plopped down next to Aace. "Fine, who is it?" Mina questioned before Aace hummed and looked at the computer.
"Well, considering that you're going to be one of the last matches?" Aace questioned and looked to the computer. "Oh, that's going to be interesting. They changed it." Aace put in before squinting at the computer.
Aace and Mina were so busy checking the computer that they didn't hear the computer open. Aace heard someone over his shoulder giggle.
"Oh, hi Mina." Aace heard from his mother which made him sigh. "Did we interrupt one of your study dates?" Aace heard before his checks flushed red.
"MOM, WE ARENT DATING!" Aace yelled, totally embarrassed while Mina giggled which made Aace groan.
He buried his head in his lap before his parents brought their groceries inside. Mina looked at her friend before Aace took a deep sigh.
Aace straightened up and turned to look at Mina.
"Your all going to give me a heart attack." Aace muttered to himself and rubbed at his temples. "Anyway, before mom almost made me rip the computer apart by accident…" Aace added and then turned to the computer.
"Your match is supposed to be a three-way brawl." Aace stated and turned the computer to Mina. "I'm guessing the reason is to get this done and over with. It's one of the final matches." Aace added before getting up.
"I'll be right back, Mi." Aace stated to Mina and sat up. "MOM! WHY DO YOU ALWAYS SAY THAT WHENEVER MINA IS OVER!? YOU KNOW WE ONLY MET 2 WEEKS AGO! GEEZ AND RICE!" Aace yelled out the door which made his mom giggle in amusement.
Mina giggled which made Aace groan in massive annoyance as he looked at Mina.
Aace sighed and then turned to the side and walked out the door. He was sure that Mina and him would have had another sparring match tonight.
Aace hummed and walked out the door while he cracked his knuckles once more and rolled his eyes.
"Hmm…" Mina whispered while looking at the computer. It showed someone who could shoot a laser out of his naval.
Mina also saw someone who looked like he had half fire powers and half ice powers. Mina turned to see Aace walk in with a few bags of groceries.
"Did you see it?" Aace questioned before putting the bags on the counter. "Mom, did you need me to get the rest or no?" Aace asked and got no answer.
Aace sighed and simply decided to let his family deal with it.
"Looks like fun!" Mina put in as Aace rolled his eyes.
"Everything looks like fun to you, Mi." Aace said and used his quirk to float his computer over towards him.

Phew. Another chapter done! I want to point out that next chapter will be 900 words and lead up to a 1500 or so word chapter. Next chapter will obviously be in a week and will show more training and bonding. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!
