Summary/Disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Contaminated Crusaders. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own MHA Shonen Jump, Kohei Horikoshi and a few others do.
Aace picked up a trash can before flicking it at Mina who backflipped over it. Aace hummed while the duo circled each other like hungry sharks.
"Your fast, Mi." Aace stated and held up his other hand. A trio of soup cans floated over his palm. "But if you're going to fight? You got to be able to think on your feet." Aace added before firing one of the cans at Mina.
Mina rolled while Aace fired another can at her. The can beaned her arm which made Mina grunt in pain.
"Ow…" Mina muttered before Aace hummed and cracked his fingers. He looked at Mina which made him blink and drop the remaining can to the ground.
Mina sighed and looked at her arm. It wouldn't bruise, but it would hurt for a while. Aace walked over to his friend and brushed off his arms at the moment.
Aace wondered if he should cut the training short. He didn't want to hurt Mina or do anything more than help her prepare for the fight.
Aace hummed and watched Mina sigh before looking up at the moon which hung over the duo. Aace looked up as well before both teenagers. He knew for a fact that Mina's match could go either way. Mina's quirk was dangerous and capable of hurting someone if she misused it.
Still? Aace didn't want to stop training if he could help it. Both of them needed it. School was rough and it didn't take it easy on students.
"Do you always like to handle things science wise?" Mina questioned which made Aace hum and nod. "You don't always have to be serious; you know?" Mina put in as Aace shrugged and looked to the side.
Aace walked to the other side of the yard. Aace brushed off his shirt while looking up at the moon.
"I don't always like being serious, Mi." Aace said and sighed before rubbing at his arms. "I just want to grow up and be a big super hero, you know? U.A isn't exactly a school that's going to take it easy on us… It trains superheroes. It… Expects a lot from people." Aace put in and leaned on the gate.
Mina looked at her friend. Her feelings were still racing which made her mind roll in her skull like an egg.
"Yeah, but we can handle it." Mina put in and leaned on the gate next to her friend. Aace said nothing and slowly slid down the gate to the ground. Aace hummed once more.
"Mi?" Aace said and looked at his hands. "Should I point out that I barely managed to get through my fight?" Aace questioned and looked at his feet.
"You still won; you know?" Mina questioned and slowly slid down to the ground while Aace shrugged. "I mean it, they don't let just anyone into U.A." Mina said and cracked her fingers while Aace smiled.
"Yeah… But having magnetic/metal powers?" Aace questioned while smiling with amusement. "Doesn't exactly make it easy to get through U.A. Plus as I keep telling you? Acid is dangerous if you mess up or do something." Aace said which made Mina elbow him in the stomach.
Aace hummed and looked at his friend.
"Ah, I see your tactic is to elbow everyone in the stomach." Aace stated which made Mina roll her eyes while looking up at the moon. "Seriously, should I point out that your skills are going to be put to the test. I'm fine when it comes down to it." Aace put in and looked up at the moon as well.
Aace and Mina slowly stood up. Aace could hear a noise and turned to look at the door. Aace hummed while his mother looked at the duo.
"Time to go back to bed." His mother stated and closed the door.
Aace sighed playfully before Aace and Mina walked to the door. Aace hummed and opened the door and turned to Mina.
"Mi, how come your parents almost always let you come over?" Aace questioned Mina who shrugged.
"My parents are busy often." Mina put in and cracked her fingers. "So, their fine with me coming over often." Mina stated to Aace who simply hummed and nodded.
"Whatever you say." Aace stated before walking to the couch. "But it is weird sometimes. It feels like you live here." Aace said with a smile before his mother hummed with amusement.
"Mina is just as welcome at this house as everyone is, sweety." His mother put in which made Aace sigh. He rolled his eyes and then sat down at the table.
Aace wondered if thing would be weird tomorrow. Then again? He wondered if things would even be bad because of that.
"Ok, I'm going to get some sleep." Aace stated and laid down to go and sleep.
Aace closed his eyes while Mina giggled. Aace popped open his eye to see the acid hero in his eye.

Phew. Another chapter done! I want to point out that Mina's fight will be next. Next chapter will end up being 1200-1500 words and so. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!
P.S: Next chapter will also show more bonding and such. Rumi's story will be 1200 words or so.
