Summary/Disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Contaminated Crusaders. Enjoy the 1200-word chapter. I don't own MHA Shonen Jump, Kohei Horikoshi and a few others do.

Mina and Aace walked towards the school, Aace looked over his shoulder while he tapped his fingers on the straps of his backpack.

"So, anything that you feel like doing besides fawning over school?" Aace asked, his eyebrow raised in interest as he hummed. "Because I have a feeling that today is going to be quite interesting the more you think about it." Aace stated, pausing to look around.

He was going to have to look over his schedule again. It was becoming clearer the more time went on. Time went onwards towards more things new and old.

"Nerd." Mina playfully retorted, skipping back and forth as she turned to look around. "I'm going to guess you found out more about our classes and all that?" Mina added to which Aace nodded and crossed his arms.

"Yeah, I had to put some time into researching it, but it's done." Aace added, placing a finger under his chin before a bell rang.

He cursed despite himself, but said nothing much. That was his fault, plain and simple for forgetting the bell schedule when he thought about it. Aace sighed as he and Mina slowly started to head inside, they could at least explain things like that unless the principal was strict.

Aace and Mina shared another look before they slowly walked inside. They had a feeling there would be trouble, still? They were excited to be heroes, excited to have the ability to try and become better than they were currently.

"What makes you think the first thing they teach us will be saving hostages or such?" Aace questioned, opening the door as he used his quirk to open the next one. "There's plenty of superhero work which involves doing things like saving lives, another is going to be fighting villains, you know." Aace pointed out while he and Mina stepped through the next door.

"I heard they set something up today that should be pretty cool." Mina pointed out as Aace shook his head, already guessing that they would have done so already.

Aace could guess that the school didn't have much of anything set up yet. They had been preparing for a whole slew of students, yes… But he doubted the staff had gone through all the work to determine every single student and their place among the school's ranks.

Not yet, anyway. Aace could set up his and Mina's schedules with a few days' worth of effort, after all… But it was still new to him considering he had still been practicing to use his quirk and master things as Mercury.

"You think they're be ok with my hero's name?" Mina questioned to which she gained a raised eyebrow.

"What, Pinky?" Aace asked, a smile crossing over his face before Mina slugged him on the arm. "Worth it, ow…" Aace stated to which caused Mina to smile herself. "Anyway, yeah, I think so. I'm still picking Mercery, it just… FITS, you know?" Aace added as the duo walked through the halls, hoping they wouldn't be too late for things.

Mina nodded; she couldn't really deny the name didn't have some merit. Aace also seemed determined to make it sound like an intimidating hero name… Which made his attempts to mess with her by calling her Pinky come off as a bit rude, if not playful to some degree.

"Ok, Magnet Man." Mina stated, her lips retracting in a smug smile as the acidic hero hummed. "Why do you insist in calling me 'Pinky', though? Alien Queen is a cool nickname." Mina added to which Aace hummed despite himself.

"Because you're not from outer space, even if you seem like it sometimes." Aace added, earning a slug to the shoulder as he shrugged. "Because your also visibly pink, and because it doesn't come off like a tyrant name." Aace stated, pausing to turn around and close the doors with his quirk.

"Wow… Such convincing reasons." Mina snarked as Aace merely rolled his eyes. "So, what do you think today's hero lesson is going to be? Handling supervillains? Fighting robberies?" Mina asked while Aace rubbed at his chin, deep in thought as he pondered the question.

He thought about it, Mina was probably expecting some flat out insane and over the top heroics which would be awesome. They just probably weren't doing it, Aace knew they'd save those topics for another day. Today just wouldn't be it if he was correct, something Aace felt he was.

"Hello, Earth to Aace." Mina teased as she flicked her friend on the nose. "You're a dork sometimes, you know that?" Mina asked and planted her hands on her hips.

"This coming from the same person who geeked out at the water park?" Aace asked, a massive smug grin pushing his lips apart once more.

Mina's eyes narrowed as the acid throwing hero remembered that and caused her to grab Aace by the shirt, pulling him nose to nose with her.

"DON'T YOU DARE MENTION THAT…" Mina roared as Aace smirked, knowing that he had one over on the hero at the moment.

"Hmm… Nope." Aace stated, pausing to see they arrived at their class.

Aace used his quirk to slowly slide the door open quietly before sliding in behind the rows of students. Mina followed suit, both eager to avoid getting in trouble.

They couldn't see who was talking, but they heard the sound of bandages moving as someone walked around. Aace was quite curious as to what their quirk could be if they wore so many bandages, were they injured? Were the bandages part of his quirk? It raised many questions Aace wanted answered, and he had a feeling he wouldn't be getting them soon.

"Your late." They heard from Momo as Aace sheepishly rubbed at the back of his head.

"Sorry, overslept. My alarm clock didn't work right." Aace stated, hoping the small fib was enough to get Momo to believe him.

Whether it was the case or not? Aace didn't get a response as he and Mina slowly stayed within the crowd, Aace guessed that the teacher was busy talking and didn't notice the new arrivals. If that was the case? Then Aace thanked whoever was watching out for them for not ruining things.

"Did we miss something?" Mina asked Tsuyu, noticing the frog like girl in the crowd rather easily.

She got a shake of the head which told her enough while the duo settled into the lecture. Unaware of what he had started to say from before. Aace hoped it wasn't too important yet. They couldn't be late to something that important, Aace wouldn't forgive himself.
