Summary/Disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Contaminated Crusaders. Enjoy the 1500-word chapter. I don't own MHA Shonen Jump, Kohei Horikoshi and a few others do.

"Uh, Aace?" Mina questioned while turning towards Aace as he crossed his arms. "I need some help." Mina stated as she brushed off her skirt.

Aace turned towards his friend, raising an eyebrow as he did so. The duo sat in one of many class rooms across the school. Aace looked across his desk to Mina who sat next to a whiteboard and dozens of posters along the bright green wall. The long hanging lights seemed to cut at his eyes.

"Math homework, Mi?" Aace questioned, continuing to scribble down on his paper as he twirled his pencil. "Ugh…" Aace said, putting a hand to his temples as he sighed.

He leaned back in the small plastic chair; Mina ALWAYS struggled with math homework. Aace wanted to help her, but he'd also be not teaching her at all when it came down to it. Teaching wasn't exactly his duty, but he'd still do it.

"Mi, talk after class." Aace muttered, pausing to continue to write. "Please don't point it out." Aace said as he shook his head.

He twirled his pencil and crossed his arms, drawing in a sharp breath as he looked up at the blinding cube like lights. Mina was slowly killing him with guilt. He would have to ask Eraser head for help later.

(3 hours later)

"So, you WILL help?" Mina questioned, Aace rolling his eyes and giving a nod. "THANK YOU!" Mina yelled, almost making Aace pause to pick up his book and hold it to his ear.

He sighed and took a seat at his table. Aace knew his roommates would be arriving tonight as everyone was shuffled into dorms on campus. It gave him enough time to help.

"Mi, you do know I can't help much with this stuff, right? Do you want me to point out how much Ectoplasm is beginning to think I'm just doing it for you?" Aace questioned, raising an eyebrow as he did so.

Aace crossed his arms over his chest. He was glad it was ONLY math he helped Mina on. He didn't help with Midnight's class, nor Snipe's. Aace looked across the cluttered table full of textbooks and papers before slowly taking a seat next to Mina. He grunted in pain; his back felt horrible from how well

"Ok, let me see what's wrong." Aace said as he rubbed at his eyes and slowly looked over the paper. "Mi, didn't I give you an idea of what to do last time?" Aace questioned.

"You mean trajectory and you talked about my quirk?" Mina asked, gaining a nod from Aace as he did so. "Didn't you say something about how it flew around or something like that?" Mina questioned as she shook her head.

Both heroes in training shared a look at each other, both wanted to get this done and dusted. Aace drummed his fingers on the table, leaning back in the creaky chair as he did so.

"Yeah, remember how I said if your acid flies this way and lands here?" Aace asked as he looked at her, gesturing with his hands. "It's simple math, I don't want to do it for you. Not only would Ectoplasm figure it out? He'd get mad at me and I don't want that, but I'm going to help you, since it's something we both learn from… And encase I can joke about how you stink at math like you think I stink at dancing." Aace said, getting an elbow to the gut as he did so.

"You're a horrible friend, you know that?" Mina questioned as Aace shrugged, only rubbing at his hip as he did so. "Can't you PLEASE do something else? I know it's tough, but it's fun." Mina said as Aace nodded.

Aace sighed a moment later, he slowly started to think about what he did next. Aace wanted nothing more than to go to his dorm, Mina was one of his best friends and he LOVED the time he had with his best friend. However, he was also ready to scream with how much Mina drove him up the wall when it came down to it. Aace was ready to snap, but he restrained his temper.

"How about we do it in a way we both understand, ok Mi? I'll make you a deal." Aace said before rubbing awkwardly at his neck as he did so. "I'll show you how to do the math, but you have to show me how to… Dance, ok?" Aace said, looking away a second dance as he did so.

"I KNEW IT!" Mina yelled before Aace sighed, leaning on the table as he watched his friend skip around the room.

Aace knew that the pink haired girl was going to hold this over his head, she often did anytime she managed to find something that she wasn't supposed to know about him. Aace supposed that couldn't be blamed considering Mina was someone who LOVED almost anything that could be considered fun or amusing.

"You want me to leave or are you going to answer today?" Aace questioned, slowly growing more whimsical by the second as his friend spun on her feet towards him.

Mina slowly made her way back to the table, unsure what to do next as she watched Aace put a hand to his chin, probably thinking about what to say next. She took a seat next to Aace who clicked the pencil against the paper, trying to balance the small object on the tip of his finger as he did so.

"You know how bad I am at dancing, Mina." Aace stated as he did so. "You seriously forget that I asked this before… Like several times, and you NEVER give a good answer." Aace said as he flipped the pencil onto the table.

The object landed on its point, causing Aace chuckle before it ultimately fell onto its side. He turned to see Mina was almost nose to nose with him which caused him to almost fall backwards. It almost snapped the leg of the chair off if Aace hadn't managed to right it at the last second.

"Damn it, Mi!" Aace said before the acid wielding superheroine giggled as he put a hand to his head. "Is that a, yes?" Aace questioned, raising his eyebrow as he did so.

He turned, looking at where he had placed a soda on the table. He rolled his eyes and turned back to Mina who nodded. He was quite curious as to how this would end up being.

"Sure, it will be fun seeing you dance. I've never seen you do that." Mina said to which Aace shook his head. "Ok, help me with this, sure." Mina said while Aace shook his head.

"Sure, just don't expect me to do it for you." Aace said, shaking his head as he did so. "Where do you need help first? This paper is due on Friday. Mi, I seriously don't understand how you're struggling with math like this." Aace said as he shook his head, leaning back to his chair and then started to start to think about how best to explain this.

He knew plenty of things were going to change, this school work was just a step towards being a superhero. He knew plenty of work was small when it came down to it. Aace was curious how the math would work up to this when it came down to it.

Aace watched as Mina pointed to certain thing onto the table, he looked over the fractions which seemed a bit tough for school… But it was almost something that he could understood, if you couldn't solve a few fractions. He was curious how Mina thought you couldn't be a hero without understanding how your powers worked.

"You know if you didn't understand math?" Aace questioned, turning to her as he clicked his tongue as he hummed. "Then you will be struggling when it comes to throwing acid towards someone." Aace stated as he crossed his arms.

"Yeah, but it's quite hard." Mina said as Aace shook his head, smirking under his arms as he did so. "I don't know what to do with this stuff, it's so weird at the moment." Mina added before she shrugged and leaned on the wall as Aace sighed it himself before he decided to say screw it and move onwards when he thought about it.

Mina hummed to herself.
