Righteo! Slight confession on this one – it wasn't a prompt on Facebook but something brought about from watching The Suicide Squad and seeing Weasel, and I got to thinking "what if Peter came home with a whacky pet" and thus – this little beauty was born!

Peter Brings Home A Flerkin

In the time that Peter had been living at the Compound, the number of questionable things the teen had brought home was becoming dangerously high. To the point that Tony had had to write a new scanning programme for JARVIS that alerted him to when Peter returned with something that he hadn't left with – namely alive things. So far, Peter had brought home a "rescued" goldfish, squirrel, frog, starling, pigeon, and owl. The number of spiders that Peter had saved and built a special enclosure for in his room was at a level Tony really didn't want to think about.

He wasn't scared of spiders but he certainly didn't like them, creepy little blighters, they were. But, Tony allowed it, because the way Peter looked at him when he'd said no to building the enclosure for the tarantula he'd found had made Tony actually feel guilty and he'd relented. Now, the Avengers Compound was quickly becoming the Avengers Animal Shelter. Tony had printed out so many lost pet photos in the last few weeks alone that he was thinking of buying shares in Canon printers.

The doors slid open when Tony approached and he immediately felt a tickling in his throat, followed by a series of sneezes that left him feeling very discombobulated. He blew his nose and rummaged around in the cupboard for some allergy relief medication then set about hunting down his wayward mentee. God only knew what the little bugger had brought home now but if it was setting off Tony's allergies the beast needed to go – and fast.

"JARVIS, what has the kid come home with today?"

"I'm sorry, sir, but my sensors did not detect any life forms with Mr. Parker when he returned to the Compound."

Tony frowned and slowed his pace. "What? Well then why have my allergies been set off?"

"I do not know, sir. It is possible that you are catching a cold. My sensors have picked up on an elevated temperature."

He shrugged and carried on his way to Peter's room, as he neared, Tony lightened his steps when he heard Peter talking and listened in. It sounded like Pete was talking to someone then the kid yelled loudly in fear and Tony burst into the room, watch immediately switched to gauntlet mode and shoved Peter behind him – despite the kid being the enhanced one. When he saw no immediate danger, Tony transformed the gauntlet back to a watch and faced Peter with a disapproving look.

"Where is it?"

Peter frowned. "Where's what?"

"Whatever just made you scream like that Peter!"

"Uh, it was just a large wasp."

Tony levelled him with a glare, mouth tightening into a thin line. "It is the middle of December, the window is closed and all the wasps are good and dead. What are you hiding, Peter?"

A shoe toe was scuffed against the floor. "Nothing, Tony, I swear. I just, I stubbed my toe."

He looked at the covered toes. "Right, so it wasn't a wasp?"

"No."

Normally Tony would have pressed the lying but something told him not to, so he didn't. "Okay, Pete. We're having Chinese for dinner with the team tonight, so make sure you tell JARVIS what you want to order, alright? And be present for dinner this time, Nat keeps asking me to see you and she's getting a little insistent now."

Peter nodded and mumbled that he'd be there. Tony was highly tempted to have JARVIS run the playback of Peter's room, but he knew the invasion of privacy would upset the kid, and if it was something really bad, Peter would have told him. Whatever it was, Tony would know before long. The teen was completely incapable of holding his own water.

-oo0oo-

During dinner, Peter was rather subdued and it was starting to worry Tony. After losing Peter's Aunt May, there had been little in the way of acting out. The grief came as it should do, and Tony was prepared for the acting out, lashing out, depression, everything that came with losing someone close and that compounded with the fact May was Peter's last living relative, Tony was braced for a whirlwind of emotions to come from the teen.

But it never came. There had been the animals, the rescues, finding pets their owners and new homes when they were uncollected. Peter's grades barely slipped, and what little they did, he brought them back up quickly. He continued his training to join the Avengers and not once did Peter ever ask for a break from it all, even while grieving, he still did his training. Still kept up with school.

Now, Tony wondered if it was delayed in arriving and this was it – the storm was hitting and Peter was now acting out in his grief over losing his Aunt. Except, that didn't quite feel right either. He was eating well, still scarfing down a ridiculous amount of food, and he laughed in the right places, smiled when spoken to, but unless someone interacted with him, Peter remained silent.

It made Tony extremely uneasy, the kid normally talked everyone's ears off and had never gone a single meal without starting a conversation with absolutely everyone. Even Nat was worried, he could see it in her face. "Peter, is there something you want to talk about?"

Dark brown eyes shot up to meet his, cheeks flushing pink a moment. "No, nothing. I'm just tired."

Nat said something in Peter's ear and he shook his head wildly, shoved his chair back from the table and stomped off. Tony sat, open mouthed, along with the rest of the team. "Uh, Nat, what the hell did you say to him?"

She shrugged. "I just asked if he was upset because his girlfriend dumped him or had you grounded him for something?"

"Wait, what, he and MJ split up?" Tony asked, eyebrows climbing to his hairline.

"I don't know, I just wondered if that was why he was being so quiet."

Tony threw his hands in the air and went after Peter, knocked on his door and waited, albeit impatiently, while the kid bashed around before he pulled open the door, face flushed from whatever he'd been doing. "What?"

"I beg your pardon?" Tony sniped.

Peter winced. "Sorry, Tony, sorry. Did you want me for something?"

"I wanna talk, Pete. Something is going on and you're behaving oddly. Please, can we talk?"

The kid slipped out of the door and nodded. "Sure, Tony. What is it?"

He couldn't deny that Peter not letting him in his room stung a little, there was a time when Peter had always opened his door to Tony without question and they'd sat together for hours, talking, theorising, developing, all sorts. It had been days since Peter had been down to the lab and longer since he'd gone to the workshop.

"You know what, it doesn't matter, Pete. Sorry I bothered you, go back to whatever you were doing."

Peter's brown eyes dimmed slightly and he shook his head. "No, it can wait. What did you want to talk about, Tony?"

He leaned against the wall of the corridor and sighed heavily. "Something's going on, Peter. I've done my best not to pry because after losing your Aunt May, I know that carrying on has kept you on an even keel instead of going off the deep end, but if that's what's happening now, it's fine, Pete. Grief makes people do strange things sometimes, and if you need to vent at all, you know you can talk to me, alright?"

Peter nodded. "Sure I know that, Tony. You took me in when I had nowhere else to go, of course I know that you'll listen to me if I need you."

"Right, yeah, exactly that. So, why the quietness at dinner? Nat said something about breaking up with MJ? Or that she thought maybe you had?"

The teen nodded. "Er, yeah, we broke up. But it's okay, it was amicable. We both realised we weren't what we wanted, we're still friends."

"Ah, okay, well I'm glad we'll still see her around the place, I've always been quite fond of her. Are you in trouble?"

"What?" Peter yelled. "No! Of course I'm not in trouble!"

"Then what the hell is going on Peter?!" Tony roared. "I'm worried fucking sick about you! You don't come out of your room, you barely talk to anyone, you never come to the lab or 'shop! Whatever it is, we'll work it out, buddy. I promise! I won't be mad, or upset, or anything but I cannot take this worrying when I don't know what I need to do to help!"

Anger flashed through Peter's eyes. "Why would you automatically assume I'm in trouble? I'm a little moody and oh my god I must be doing drugs, right? I'm fine, I just wanna be left alone!"

Peter dashed back to his room and the door slammed shut. Tony slid down the wall until his ass hit the floor and he buried his face in his hands, breathing deeply until he got himself back under control. He could hear Peter crying through the door and it broke his heart that whatever was going on with him, he felt he couldn't tell Tony.

Well, whatever it was, Tony would find out, one way or another. And whether it was nothing or truly terrible, Tony would be there to help Peter through it. No matter what it was. The kid was barely eighteen, seriously, how bad could it be?

-oo0oo-

It was a few days later before Tony would realise the level of trouble Peter was in, but not in the way he'd been concerned about. What JARVIS had thought was a cold was not, as Tony only got worse with the sneezing and when his face started blowing up, he knew for certain it was allergies. And the only thing Tony was that badly allergic to was cats.

He searched all over, used every sensor and camera going to try and find the little bugger but nothing ever showed up. It was driving Tony insane and to top it off, Steve had come to Tony saying Bucky had never returned home from his jaunt back to Brooklyn to see the old area they'd lived together. The former Winter Soldier should have been back several days ago and so far, all communicative attempts had been met with radio silence.

"I just don't get it, Tony. He was really settling in here, he enjoyed being part of the team and he said he was only going to get the lay of the land, see how much had changed, nostalgia and all that. Why wouldn't he come back, or at least let us know he wasn't coming back?" Steve said, hand tugging on his blond locks in frustration.

Tony held his hands out placatingly and rest them on the thick biceps. "We'll find him, Steve, I promise. I'll have JARVIS start doing some scans and we'll go from there. We'll bring him home."

Steve's blue eyes shone under the bright lights, unshed tears glistening in them. " Thanks, Tony. I don't know what we'd do without you."

The genius chuckled and patted one of Steve's arms. "Probably have less cool digs but better mental health considering you all have to deal with me."

As planned, the quip made Steve laugh and Tony grinned at him. Whatever was going on with the metal armed wonder, Tony would figure it out. "JARVIS, check all Compound security footage and see if Bucky ever returned before he went off grid."

"My databanks show that Sergeant Barnes returned to the Compound on the eighteenth of December, at three-thirty in the afternoon."

Tony paused his typing and frowned, folding his arms over his chest. "JARVIS, did Bucky meet anyone when he returned? Did he have any company?"

"Sergeant Barnes was met by Mr. Parker in the hallway of their shared floor. Mr. Parker invited Sergeant Barnes into his bedroom and minutes later, you arrived outside his room and Mr. Parker was alone when you entered."

"Okay, that makes zero sense. JARVIS, at any point does Bucky come back out?"

"No, sir, Sergeant Barnes does not. Would you like me to access the footage for Mr. Parker's bedroom?"

There was no doubt it would be the faster way to find out what the hell was going on, but Tony wanted to give Peter one last chance to be honest with him. Whatever had happened to the man, JARVIS had not alerted him so either it wasn't anything to be worried about, or for whatever reason, JARVIS' scanners were not able to pick up on it.

"No, J, it's fine. Where's Peter right now?"

"Mr. Parker is currently pacing in his bedroom."

Right. Well, time to go deal with this head on, there was no beating about the bush anymore. Tony all but ran to Peter's bedroom and knocked, waited, and knocked again. Peter was crashing about inside and Tony was done being patient now. "JARVIS, unlock this door. Now."

"Override code required, sir."

"Sierra, Papa, India, Delta, Echo, Romeo, Lima, India, November, Golf."

"Override code accepted, door unlocked, sir."

Putting all his weight into it, Tony threw the door open in the hopes of surprising Peter so he wouldn't have chance to slam the door in his face. Peter stood in the middle of his bedroom floor, tears running down his cheeks and holding a ginger cat that was meowing and wriggling around. "A cat? You've been hiding a cat in here?" He cried in shock. "Wait, the hell are you crying for, Pete?"

The cat yowled and tentacles exploded from its mouth making Tony scream and roll out of the way, his eyes wider than possible and Peter was trembling in fear. "I'm sorry, Tony! I swear I didn't know what it was!" Peter sobbed.

Tony yelled for JARVIS to lock the Compound down so the damn thing couldn't escape and told Peter to launch it to the other side of the bedroom and JARVIS locked the beast in a cage of energy beams. The alien feline prowled up and down, yowling and meowing but otherwise behaving in a non-threatening manner. "Okay, right, Peter, are you hurt?"

The teen ran to Tony and sobbed in his arms. "I'm so sorry! I didn't know how to explain it and then it ate Bucky!"

"It what?"

"It ate him!" Peter sobbed. "Bucky surprised it when we went in my room and it ate him!"

"Oh fucking hell, Peter!" He sighed. "I wish you'd told me straight away. At least now I know why it never showed on J's sensors, it's not of this planet. Er, J, put a call in to Carol Danvers and tell her we need an immediate assist. I have a sneaking suspicion she'll know exactly who our little guest is."

"Of course, sir. I think it might be prudent for further explanation, Mr. Parker," JARVIS said, somehow managing to sound disapproving.

Tony glanced down at his mentee and raised an eyebrow. "Pete? What is J talking about? Please, no more secrets."

Peter shuffled around awkwardly. "I uh, well, you promise you won't go nuts?"

Well, shit, it couldn't be good if Peter was worried about Tony losing his temper. "Okay, I promise I won't go nuts. Just tell me what's going on, Pete."

"I wasn't doing too good after losing Aunt May. I tried really hard to just carry on but it wasn't easy, and Bucky was helping. He took me out, let me really let off steam with my powers, we could fight safely without damaging the Compound or risking hurting anyone. It helped me so much, because all I could feel was angry. I lost my parents to violence, I lost my Uncle Ben to violence, and now, because of who I am, I lost my Aunt May to violence. I was drowning, Tony. And I didn't know how to tell you because…because-"

Tony choked down a sob of his own and cleared his throat. "Because you blamed me."

Peter burst into tears again and collapsed to the floor, bringing Tony with him who held his mentee tight and rubbed his back. "I did. I blamed you so much and I was so angry with you and I'm sorry, Tony! I really am! I know it wasn't your fault! I was just so pissed off!"

"I know, Pete, I get it. Of course you were angry with me. I should have been monitoring everything better and I dropped the ball. My lax in judgement cost your Aunt her life and I'm never going to be able to forgive myself for that."

"No! It wasn't your job to do that. May was an adult, she knew better than to let anyone know she knew Spider-Man."

"Either way, I still think I should have done more but let's get back to the topic at hand – why does JARVIS think this needs better explaining? There's nothing you've told me that I needed to really know."

The teen drew his knees to his chest and rested his chin on them. "Remember you promised?" Tony nodded and agreed. "I fell for him, Tony. Me and MJ didn't work out because I'd fallen in love with Bucky and that's why he'd come to my room. We uh, we were, um…"

Peter made a rather crude gesture and Tony had to work hard to keep the fury off his face, his heart rate climbing alarmingly high and his skin began glowing, heating up. He had to take several breaths to try and get it under control lest he wind up setting the damn carpet on fire. "So, what you're telling me is my seventeen-year-old ward has been sleeping with the hundred-year-old former assassin?"

The teen winced at that and nodded, face miserable and even though Tony planned to have seriously stern fucking words later on, he needed to remain calm now or Peter wouldn't ever tell him anything again. "Yeah, are you disgusted?"

That drew Tony up short and his anger disappeared in the blink of an eye, his eyebrows high and mouth wide open. "What?" He bit out, bringing his tone back down when Peter shrank away from him. "Why would you think I'd be disgusted? I gotta be honest, Petey, I ain't really happy about the age difference and the fact you are still a few weeks off your eighteenth birthday has me having heart palpitations, Pete. How long?"

Peter didn't even try to pretend to misunderstand. "A few weeks, maybe three months or so."

"That you've actually been engaging in sexual acts?"

"Yeah, we've been training together a bit longer than that."

"Who moved first, Peter? Who initiated the first contact that went from friends to more?"

Peter flushed pink. "I did. I kissed him, he tried to back off, didn't wanna piss you off. He's weirdly scared of you. But when I pressed him he admitted he felt more for me too."

"Right, okay, we've a lot more to talk about Peter Benjamin Parker, believe you me, but for now, that will do. And, if you were worried I'd be disgusted for it being a man you love, I'd be a bit of a hypocrite, wouldn't I?"

"Huh?"

"I've always swung both ways, Peter. Jesus Christ, Steve's gonna shit a fucking brick when he finds out," Tony groaned.

There was no time to worry about that just yet though. JARVIS informed him Carol had arrived – thankfully she had not been off world for once – and she was on her way to Peter's room. She took one look at the harmless looking cat and narrowed her eyes. "So, this is where you've been hiding? You know Fury is still pissed you took his eye?"

The cat meowed and cleaned its paws, looking every bit the innocent feline. "Huh, so that's what Fury meant when he said last time he trusted someone he lost an eye. That's hilarious!" Tony snorted.

"This is Goose, he's a Flerkin."

"A what now?"

Carol smirked. "Flerkin's are odd little creatures, their bodies hold pocket dimensions, and there's no limit to what they can swallow. Your AI said Goose swallowed your Bucky?"

Tony side-eyed Peter. "Not mine, his Bucky. Can you get him back?"

She asked the AI to deactivate the forcefield holding the Flerkin and she grabbed him by the scruff of the neck. "Goose, spit Bucky back out, right now, or I'll tell Fury you're hiding out here."

The cat hissed and took a swipe at her but then started hacking. Carol dropped the cat and moment later, the beast spat out a dishevelled and terrified Bucky Barnes, metal arm gleaming and body covered in spit. Tony gagged a little and even Peter looked grossed out. "You!" Bucky shrieked at the creature. "You ate me! You furry little fuck!"

Laughing, Carol nudged Goose and he took off out the door. "Right, my work here is done. Real sorry about that, I usually have a good idea where Goose is but he slipped me and I've not had his whereabouts for a while now. You shouldn't experience any lasting effects, maybe a little nausea."

The soldier swiped a hand through his gooey hair and flicked it at her, grunted in disgust and left Peter's room in a hurry, muttering about showering in bleach. Tony gave Pete a hug and promised they were going to speak together, the four of them, because damn right Steve needed to know, he was the bloody team's Captain and if the two were going to be fighting together then Steve needed to be aware.

Tony left Pete to clean up the mess of Flerkin drool and went to find Steve. He was not looking forward to the conversation but Christ almighty he didn't have much of a choice. As much as the super soldier was a stickler for rules, he couldn't let the kid get steam rolled or let Cap go in blind on such a sensitive situation. Besides, even though the age gap bothered him, greatly, Tony couldn't be blind to the fact that there was no one better equipped to deal with Peter's enhancements. Bruce was far too mild-mannered and Steve would never consider dating a teenager, let alone one Tony cared for. Tony even had to admit that Bucky had balls to engage in any kind of relationship with Peter, despite being afraid of the genius, according to Peter, anyway.

-oo0oo-

As predicted, the talk with Steve did not go well and at one point, Tony had had to heat his skin to blistering temperatures before he could get the super soldier to calm down and get his emotions under control. Tony had been sorely to tempted to ask Steve if he was jealous of Peter but thought better of it and decided that he very much liked his head on his shoulders.

It had taken a surprising amount of reassurance that it was not Bucky who'd made the first move, and Tony had made several promises that the horn dog in this instance was all Peter and his ridiculous teenage libido. That brought about Steve needing to reassure Tony that Bucky did not go around seducing underage boys and that if he was really sleeping with Peter then he definitely cared about the kid because if Bucky loved, he loved with his whole heart.

They'd had a good giggle over Bucky getting eaten now that the fear had worn off and they knew the soldier was completely safe and unharmed. A debate lasting all of five seconds took place before Tony asked JARVIS to playback the footage of Bucky getting eaten, and they'd fallen about laughing at Peter's girly scream.

When the two had called Bucky and Peter to join them in the common room, the pair had trudged in like they expected to meet the guillotine, though Tony noted they held hands. Bucky looked better freshly showered, hair pulled back in a bun and blue eyes constantly drifting to Peter. When he met Tony's eyes he did so without flinching but he could see the fear in the pale blue orbs.

"Right, I imagine you both know why we've asked you both to join us, but to ensure we're all on the same page, there are some things that Steve and I would like to clarify, clear up, and make sure that everyone is happy – and safe," Tony said, narrowing his eyes at Peter when he opened his mouth.

Steve nodded and sat forward, hands clasped between his knees. "Tony's right, we want to make sure that you're both okay, and being safe. Buck, I know you've got the serum and that pretty much makes you immune to everything, but Pete, we don't know how far your mutation extends. You've caught colds before, had the flu, there's every possibility that even though Buck is immune to things, he could still transmit something, be a carrier."

Peter flushed dark red. "We, uh, we're completely exclusive, Mr. Rogers. I don't…the only person in my life is Bucky and I have no intention of being with anyone else."

The soldier smiled at him and brushed a kiss on Peter's cheek. "I'm the same. I have no interest in anyone else, there's nothing for Peter to catch if I can't get anything from him."

Steve's lips twitched and Tony was looking distinctly uncomfortable. "So, that pretty much confirms that neither of you is using any protection, thanks for that."

Tony groaned loudly. "Thank you, Steve. That did not need to be said out loud. Anyway, you're both going to have to be extremely careful and quiet about this, you understand that, right? Peter, you're still underage and if anyone got wind of your relationship, even after you go public, it could be speculated that you were already involved when you were still under consensual age. You'll have to play this very carefully because Bucky could get in very serious trouble."

Peter and Bucky nodded eagerly, promising to make sure they kept it all under wraps. "Tony, I know you think the world of Peter and I want you to know that I made absolutely sure this is what he wanted. I wouldn't have made a single move if I thought he wasn't sure, and I let him set the pace."

The genius smiled, albeit tightly, but his eyes showed he was genuine. "I know, Bucky, I'm well aware. Peter has more than defended you. I'm not going to lie to you, though. I was very unhappy to learn of this relationship. Peter isn't of age, he recently lost his last relative, and now he has to navigate a relationship that he has to keep a secret. He can't tell his friends, he can't post pictures of you both, he can't even tell the rest of the team. Any one of them could take offense and report Bucky for having sex with a minor."

"Yeah, I know, we talked about this extensively," Bucky reassured him. "I made sure Peter understood all the ramifications of this, and how hard it was going to be to keep it quiet."

"Alright, well, I appreciate that you're being completely honest and upfront with me. And, as much as it pains me to admit, you're good for him. Don't take it personally, I just don't like the idea of Peter having to keep secrets. You've helped him through a difficult time in his life while he was angry with me, and I'm grateful. But let me be perfectly clear when I say this," Tony sat forward, eyes and skin glowing brightly. "If you hurt him, push him too much, or try to force him to do anything he doesn't want to, I will not hesitate to destroy you. You might be a super soldier with a metal arm but I can reach temperatures greater than the sun. I will melt the skin off your bones before you can make a goddamn fist. Understand?"

There was stunned silence around the room and all Bucky did was nod, vigorously. A weird squeak came from Peter and even Steve was looking rather stunned at the vehemence behind Tony's statement.

"Good, I'm glad you understand. You can both go."

Bucky all but ran from the room, much to Steve's amusement, and Peter followed him but paused and looked back at Tony. "I love you, Tony."

Tony's throat closed up and he had to swallow several times to clear the lump. "I love you too, Pete. There's a surprise on your bed."

-oo0oo-

The whole Compound heard the scream of joy that came from Peter's room, and Steve had stood wide-eyed as Peter had barrelled into the common room and launched himself at Tony, knocking the genius to the floor. Tony had laughed hard, carefully extricated the signed papers from Peter's grasp and kissed his messy head.

The teen had sniffled snottily, hugged Tony again and dashed off. Tony had been unsure if the gift would be well received but after talking it through with Steve, he'd decided that the worst that would happen is Peter would decline. But, thankfully, Tony had listened to his gut and now, once filed with the courthouse, Tony would be Peter's adoptive father – he was going to be a dad.

Steve helped Tony up and pulled the mechanic into a hug, his large hand travelling Tony's back, chin resting on Tony's curls. "You're going to be a great dad to that kid, he thinks the world of you."

He'd hesitated to hold Steve back but the hand running up his spine was wonderful. He curled both arms around the trim waist and held Steve back. "Yeah, I sure hope so. I love that kid more than I need to breathe. He's lost so much, Steve. He's barely eighteen and he's known nothing but loss and hurt. Bucky is good for him, and it's clear he loves Peter."

The blond huffed a chuckle. "Honestly, Buck looks at Pete like th' sun sets an' rises on him. There ain't nothing that kid will want for."

Tony inhaled sharply and pulled back to look at Steve. "My, my, your Brooklyn is showing, Captain."

Snorting loudly, Steve laughed. "It tends t' slip out more when I'm around ya."

"Why is that?"

"Cause I'm mad for ya, Tony. I thought for sure you'd hate me when I told you about Bucky's past, an' when ya used that Extremis stuff I sat by your bed ev'rynight until you woke back up. I'm crazy about ya, Tony," Steve finished with a murmur.

Tony's heart stuttered in his chest, his thoughts coming to a standstill as he processed Steve's words. "Steve…I…" The light in Steve's eyes dimmed as Tony struggled to put his thoughts into words and he panicked. He grabbed Steve by the shirt front and dragged him down, meeting his lips and rising to his toes to deepen in.

When they finally broke apart it was to the wolf whistle of Peter and cat calling from Bucky. Tony laughed and Steve rolled his eyes at the pair.

"Does this mean I get two dads now?" Peter asked.

Tony half expected Steve to scoff at it, but he just picked up the paper's and signed next to Tony's name as well. "I guess it does, kiddo."

For the second time that day, the Compound was subjected to Peter's joyous screaming. Anyone else probably would have said it was too fast, that they hadn't thought it through, but anyone who knew Tony or Steve would know that the pair of them had probably been in love with one another for months and neither one of them had made a single move until the moment was right.

"Does this make you my father in law, Stevie?" Bucky asked, a smirk on his lips and then had to run for his life when Steve took off after him, cursing the other super soldier out.
