Chapter 7: The world through her eyes. The life of Risa Gremory.
Hey everybody sorry for the delay on this chapter, but as I said before, I am taking my time with this story due to its popularity and how much you all enjoy reading it... The last thing I would want to do is ruin it by rushing myself without content.
The next few chapters are going to be based on the point of view of the Gremory children and their day to day lives. In doing so, we will all get a more in-depth look at their personalities and remember that the story isn't just about Issei or Ryujin. Not to mention I'll have plenty of time to decide on what the DAF are going to do next...

On an added note, I have decided that a few more characters will join Issei's harem in this story, but who they are and how they will be decided will be my little secret. But don't worry, I have a very amusing idea to how this will happen.
However, this probably won't happen until after Issei has dealt with the current threat to his household the DAF.

P.S. please excuse my writing this chapter as half of it is going to be written from the point of view of an 11-year-old girl so it may seem pretty childish xD.
My name is Risa Hyoudou Gremory! I am 11 years old, and I love my family so much!
Some people may say that having the Sekiryutei as a father is very scary...
But that's not true! Nope not one bit!
I love my daddy more than anything!
He always plays with me, reads me bedtime stories and he's always there to hug when I'm sad or whenever he gets home from work.
My daddy is funny, kind, strong and he's always so happy!
He's the best daddy in the whole world!
But it's not just my daddy, I love my whole family so much!
My mummy is Rias Hyoudou Gremory and she's so beautiful!
Mummy is really smart, caring, and loves both me and Ryujin so much.
But she does tend to hog daddy sometimes...
Mummy works at the school for bigger kids and teaches everybody about Japanese history. Daddy told me it's because mummy loves Japan.
But she loves daddy way more.
I may look like an ordinary girl to most people, but I actually have a secret along with my brothers and sisters.
We are all half devil and half dragon children.
Even though daddy was a human before, he once told me that he had to give up his human body for a complete dragon body so he could protect mummy and all of my family against a really bad guy.
So, I'm half devil and half dragon.
One thing I love the most about my family, is how huge it is!
I have so many brothers and sisters to play with whilst daddy is working and we all look after each other.
I have my older brother Ryujin who always protects me and has recently began helping Tiamat recover her magic power.
And I have my younger brothers and sisters Freya, Ellie, Arthur, Kuro, Shuri and Blake.
We may only be a year older than the rest of our siblings, but we are still the oldest!
I also have loads of aunties and uncles who love me so much!
There's, uncle Kiba, uncle Gasper, uncle Sirzechs and uncle Millicas.
Uncle Kiba is a famous master swordsman who always helps me train with my scythe. So, if I ever need to use my sacred gear, the bad guys better watch out!
I don't know what a peerage is, but apparently uncle Kiba is my daddies knight who always protects him. I'm happy that uncle Kiba is there to protect my daddy.
Uncle Kiba is always helping his cute friend Tosca with her studying because she's got her college exams coming up.
She's always got red cheeks when she stares at uncle Kiba though, I wonder why?
Uncle Gasper is really cool because he can stop time! Sometimes I'd like to have that power so I could stop time to do my homework without missing my time to play. Uncle Gasper is always smiling and is engaged to another vampire girl named Valerie. Oh wait? Did I forget to mention uncle Gasper is a vampire? Because he is!
I love uncle Sirzechs so much! He always sends me presents and just recently he bought me a pony with wings, but daddy says we have to keep her in the underworld because horses don't usually have wings here. I still need to come up with a name for her...
I haven't seen uncle Sirzechs come to the house before which makes me sad because I want to hug him and kiss his cheek to thank him for how much he spoils me. But daddy says he should be back soon, and I can't wait!
Uncle Millicas is in his final year at our devil school and he always comes to see us at lunch time to see if we are okay and if we need anything. Sometimes he even buys us sweets before we go home, and he promises to never tell daddy or mummy!
I also have loads of aunties who always make me smile.
I have 6 aunties who live with me, aunty Akeno, aunty Asia, aunty Koneko, aunty Xenovia, aunty Rossweisse and aunty Grayfia.
Aunty Akeno always tickles me when my guard is down and reads me a story before dinner time. Maybe I'll ask her to tell me some stories about daddy today?
Aunty Akeno is so pretty! Almost as pretty as mummy and she makes daddy very happy as well.
Aunty Asia always heals me when I fall over or hurt myself at home. She also lets me play with her pet dragon Rassei who is really big now!
Sometimes I think that aunty Asia is an angel like daddies' friend Irina who often comes to visit daddy.
Daddy really is popular .
Aunty Koneko is really cute because she looks like a kitty cat but she's also really quick!
I once saw her chase after Kuro when he didn't want to take his bath and I can't catch kuro when he runs on all fours! But aunty Koneko caught him in 2 seconds!
I once caught aunty Koneko sleeping on daddies' bed whilst daddy was at work and she was purring. Is his bed really that comfortable?
Aunty Xenovia is a really good swimmer! She is just like a mermaid! I'm not very good at swimming so aunty Xenovia is helping me so the next time we go to the beach I can go in the ocean with Ryujin.
Aunty Xenovia looks really pretty and cool when she is practising her swordsmanship, I want to look just like her when I get better with my scythe.
Aunty Rossweisse is really intelligent and also works at the big kids' school just like mummy does. But I think she teaches maths instead?
She always helps with my homework when I get stuck, and we often bake cookies together with Freya and Ellie on the weekends.
I really like seeing aunty Rossweisse smile, I can tell she's very happy.
Aunty Grayfia has started to smile a lot more since uncle Sirzechs can now call her every day. She must really miss uncle Sirzechs, I hope he comes home soon so aunty Grayfia can always be happy.
Aunty Grayfia helps me with my devil homework and has also started teaching me how to act like a Gremory lady. I heard that she did the same thing for mummy when she was my age.
Anyway, I'm really excited today! Daddy says that Fenrir is going to be walking with us to school today to help keep the bad men away from us.
Because we live in the human world, I have to go to school here but today I'm going to devil school because it's Tuesday, but I'll be going back to human school tomorrow.
I love going to school but there is one thing that I hate more than anything about leaving the house.
It's all the boys that look it me mainly my chest...
Mummy told me because of the Gremory blood that I have, my bust size is going to get bigger as I grow older.
But I'm not too worried about it, after all, I have an over-protective big brother and a super strong daddy to scare them away.
Normal P.O.V
The sounds of cheerful and optimistic devil children chorused outside of the main gate as Risa and her family approached the school gates.
Fenrir sat down by the gates and sniffed around for any hints of danger to his masters' children.
Satisfied it was safe for them to pass, Fenrir sat down by the school gates and patiently waited to be acknowledged by the Gremory children.
"Good boy Fenrir!" Risa said whilst she gave the god slayer a treat and stroked his glorious well-groomed fur.
Fenrir smiled and licked Risa repeatedly on the cheek.
"Stop that tickles!" she giggled as she said goodbye to her daddy's loyal pet.
Fenrir received many pets of gratitude as the rest of the Sekiryutei's offspring went inside the school gates.
The fearsome beast reverted to his original combat mode and stood guard against any who dared to attack his master's treasure.
"Alright class settle down; we've got a special treat for you today as today is a special day indeed." The class teacher said as she diverted the classes attention to the huge screen which flashed to life.
"Yes!" a devil child yelled noticing who was on the screen in all of their royal glory.
"As you can see by the image on the screen, we are going to be celebrating our hero of the underworld and the strongest devil, the Sekiryutei!" the teacher proudly proclaimed feeling safe after all of the years of peace that the Sekiryutei was responsible for maintaining.
"Papa is so cool!" Kuro said as he watched images of his father in his dragon scale armour appear on the screen.
"The Sekiryutei is known as the strongest devil in the underworld, and he is also known as the crimson dragon, the saviour of our world.
He has defeated many powerful foes and we are going to watch some of these battles due to the courtesy of the vice governor of fallen angels and our maou Sirzechs Lucifer." The teacher stated as she accumulated the clips from a well-known viewing platform in the underworld known as hell tube.
The children cheered and expressed delight as they watched the Sekiryutei's most famous battles to date.
The first fight that the children began to view was Issei's first official battle outside of the shadows when he was merely known as a low-class devil, only a pawn of the Gremory family.
Ryujin still gets chills no matter how many times he sees his dad transform into his balance breaker armour.
"One day, I too will achieve my balance break, just like father!" Ryujin muttered seeing his father take down the Raiser Phenix so effortlessly.
The second fight that the class viewed was also a very historic battle in which the Sekiryutei and the Hakuryuukou the heavenly dragons faced against each other in mortal combat.
"I have to be strong just like father." Arthur said to himself as he watched his dad risk his life to steal the vanishing dragon's power.
The next battle was quite surprising for the children and even for their teacher because not too many devils actually knew this fight occurred at all.
Nevertheless, it could be argued that this battle was most definitely one of Issei's toughest battles to date as it wasn't just a physical battle but a psychological one as well.
"Daddy is so cool!" Shuri said as she watched Issei transform into his cardinal crimson queen mode after protecting the Ruin princess.
"Dad never gives up." Blake said after he witnessed the Sekiryutei covered in blood essentially be reborn just before he obtained his cardinal crimson promotion.
The children cheered joyfully as the Sekiryutei defeated Ryuu the phony emerald dragon emperor.
Yet another devastating battle was shown next.
A war between a dragon warrior and a god!
"Daddy can't be defeated!" Elizabeth chimed in as she watched her father take down the god of mischief.
The battle between the Sekiryutei and Euclid Lucifuge graced the screen next, and this was the Sekiryutei's first battle as the new king of the Gremory household.
"So, this is why mum believes in daddy so much!" Freya stated as she watched her dad overthrow the threat to the underworld effortlessly.
Even with Hell tube's slow-motion feature, the video footage could not capture the Sekiryutei when he disappeared in the battle before reappearing in front of Euclid.
The children were star struck as they watched the last few videos of the triumphant crimson dragon emperor.
The Sekiryutei vs Tiamat, the Sekiryutei vs Sairaorg and the final battle when Issei obtained his first taste of divine power. The Diablos dragon armour.
With the highlight reel of Issei's battles over, the class spent the remainder of the day learning all that they could about the Sekiryutei including his history with the Ruin princess Rias Gremory to Risa's delight.
Risa decided that she would ask her mum directly for the whole story. She was ecstatic and overjoyed to know everything she believed about her dad was in fact true.
"Mummy looks so happy here." Risa said as she stared at the screen showing her father and her mother getting married.
With the school day over, the Gremory children were now heading home.
Well, that is until they were halted in their path by an aggressive devil youth.
"Oh, look who it is, the Sekiryutei's brats!" The devil kid said as he shoved into Arthur who now prepared to protect his little sister.
Another devil child closed in on the dragon children with an irritated and spiteful look on her face.
"Don't think your special little girl! Just because your daddy is the Sekiryutei!" She said as she got into Shuri's personal space.
"Come on say something punk!" the bully requested as he threw a punch towards Risa.
Ryujin intercepted the attacker's fist effortlessly and captured it in his hand.
"I know your kind, you think you can just waltz up to us and pick a fight with my brothers and sisters..." Ryujin said making the bigger kid smirk.
"But you forgot one thing, I'm the Sekiryutei's son!" Ryujin said as he began to apply pressure on the bully's knuckles.
"Ouch that hurts!" he complained before coming face to face with a true dragon
"You're trying to make us feel embarrassed, make us feel ashamed to be the children of the Sekiryutei, but you're wrong! We're not ashamed to be our daddy's children, in fact we're proud of it!" Risa shouted her irises beginning to flash from blue to crimson.
"We won't back down, we won't run away," Arthur said standing tall in front of Ellie.
"Papa is strong but so are we!" Kuro said as cracked he his knuckles to intimidate his prey.
"We are the children of the Sekiryutei!" They all shouted together making the bullies back down slightly.
"What's wrong? If you're ready to fight a dragon, then bring it on." Ryujin stated with a slight growl and a spine-tingling dragon aura.
With his fist released from Ryujin's intense vice grip, the older kids ran for the hills feeling if they stayed there any longer, they would have been devoured whole.
Fully satisfied that they did their father the Sekiryutei proud, the dragon children headed home being welcomed by their loving mothers.
Meanwhile, the legendary hero himself was sorting through some paperwork related to devil contracts and his own peerage.
"Lord issei, you have a guest wanting to see you." Ravel said communicating through Issei's intercom.
"Who is it?" Issei enquired feeling the paperwork was increasing with every second he diverted his attention away from it.
"It's your wife Rias Gremory." Ravel responded happily knowing that the boss of the company could do with some company.
"Perfect! Send her in!" Issei replied cheerfully as he pushed his paperwork aside so he could get a clear view of his drop-dead gorgeous number one wife.
"How's my hunk of a dragon king doing?" the Ruin queen asked as she entered the room in her work uniform.
"Fine, what are you doing here Rias?" Issei said as he got up close to his visitor.
"What do you mean? Can't a wife just show up at her hubbies office unannounced for a surprise visit?" Rias said as she hopped onto his desk carefully avoiding the tea.
"Not at all, that is if you were Rias..." Issei said feeling his pent-up stress transform into a boiling rage.
"What are you talking about? It's me Rias!" Rias insisted as she approached the Sekiryutei.
"How dare you!" Issei said after he delivered a full-on power punch to her solar plexus.
The female devil fell to her knees in shock and horror.
"But how?! My disguise was perfect!" she said after her true form had been finally revealed.
"Perfect, perfect you say?! How fucking dare you! How dare you imitate my goddess! How dare you steal her face, her melodic voice!" Issei said as he delivered a powerful kick to the female devil sending her flying.
"Let me tell you how you failed to deceive me. You see, my wife is a very loving woman who wouldn't be satisfied with staring at me from afar. Busy or not, she would have launched herself at me and made me catch her." Issei began making the assassin kick herself because she made such an obvious mistake.
"And another thing, Rias doesn't need to go through the normal methods to come see me, she has a direct magic circle to the inside of my office. So going through the normal entrance was a huge blunder on your part. Why would I not allow my wife immediate entrance to my office?" Issei said as he approached the in-pain devil on the carpet.
"But most importantly!" Issei said as he dodged a poisonous strike from the assassins hidden dagger.
"You may have copied her face, but you will never be able to copy her soul and her heart!" Issei roared unleashing a close-range dragon shot upon the frozen female assassin.
"Lord Issei! Is everything alright?" Ravel stated as she rushed into the room after the enormous explosion.
"Ah Ravel good timing, it seems my guest ruined your delicious tea, may I have another cup?" Issei kindly requested after smelling the poison the assassin discreetly put in his cup after she hopped onto his desk.
One hour later, Issei returned home and is now outside of a certain individual's bedroom.
The door opened wide and Issei smiled cheerfully.
"Hey there Ophis, I have a feeling I'm going to need to borrow your power again. Can I ask you to help me control it?" the Sekiryutei enquired rewarding him with something quite miraculous.
"Sure, I will help you." Ophis responded with a slight smile towards the Sekiryutei whilst she consumed a bag of cookies.
