We start off with Dwayne Junior narrating.

The school system, the way it is set up, is useful for helping young kids achieve their goals. And, a school sporting event, can bring out the best and worst of the students that are playing. This is the competitive Junior year.

The tugs theme then plays

Junior's POV

After a lot of training, it was finally time to try out for the school baseball team. Unfortunately, the words I said to Hudson, did not change his attitude in the slightest. He said that my comment about not wanting to work as a team was hypocritical, pointing out how I abandoned the team last year to try and play the hero.

Reader's POV

"It's going to be really difficult for me to pick the best players for the team this year" said the coach. "I looked at Emeraldstone's lineup, and they've got Zoltan Parker." "I thought he got arrested for killing the hobo that lives on a hotel roof?" asked a sophomore named Edward Francis. "Turns out he was found not guilty, he claimed he was using self defense" said the coach. "I know it was murder, I don't believe his bullshit." "If this guy can kill someone with his bare hands, I hate to wonder what he can do with a bat." "This guy is tough, he's going to be our biggest obstacle."

Junior's POV

I've made it no secret that Emeraldstone students often go on to become convicts. I had never met Zoltan Parker, but I heard that he had a criminal record. He was always found not guilty in court, and he always chose to defend himself without an attorney. After tryouts were over, it took about two hours for the coach to decide who would make the team. He wanted to make absolutely sure, because the first game of the season, was going to be Bronzestone vs Emeraldstone. Hudson felt a sense of pride when he was the first one picked, with me in second. I simply just shrugged it off.

Reader's POV

Junior was walking out of the ball park, when he ran into Zoey. "Hey, nice job making the team again" said Zoey. "Thanks, although that means I have to continue to deal with Hudson" said Junior. "I thought you'd be more concerned about your own uncle" said Zoey. "I know, he's having a lot of arguments on social media" said Junior. "I'm not really focused on all that stuff, i'm more concerned about getting Sierra a boyfriend" said Zoey. "Did Cody finally drop the bomb on her?" asked Junior. "Nope, and i'm having trouble finding a guy, that can actually tolerate her" said Zoey. "I'm hoping that if she finds someone that she desires more than Cody, then Cody can finally be free." "Oh this is malarkey" said a British voice. Terrence then walked up. "Cody should not have to wait for somebody else to show up and free him, he needs to take action himself." "He needs to grow some balls, and tell Sierra that he doesn't love her." "I know it's harsh, but Sierra needs to learn to stop being a perverted stalker." "If I was Cody, I would have filed a restraining order."

Junior's POV

Yup, a bunch of crazy shit was happening all at once. This was making it difficult to concentrate on the upcoming game against Emeraldstone. On the day of that game, I would realize how intimidating Zoltan Parker really is. But that is a story for another day.

Authors note: Zoltan Parker is based off the tugs character Zak. The only member of the Z stacks with no redeeming qualities.

If you think high school coaches have a hard time setting up a baseball roster, imagine how tough it is for MLB team owners.

On this site, I have mentioned numerous times that NASCAR is my favorite professional sport, but i'm putting baseball just underneath of it. And no, I do not have a favorite MLB team, I focus more on the history aspect.

Thank you for reading and please have a great day.
