A.N. – I am going to try not to repeat themes back to back (nobody from the same house in consecutive chapters, or too many students in a row without an adult interspersed), so here's a Slytherin adult after a young Gryffindor.
4. Rita Skeeter
Boggarts can change; this is a topic Rita will not be reporting on.
Hers used to be people shunning her, ignoring Rita's pleas for attention. Her peroxide blonde hair, propensity for lime green, and barbed words – all were cultivated to ensure she wasn't forgotten. As a half-blood in Slytherin, it would've behooved Rita to remain inconspicuous, but her ambition ran too strong for that.
Still, the day she achieved her animagus form, her boggart shifted to a massive boot descending from above. She was secretly glad boggarts in DADA was long past... and cunning enough to hide her newfound fear.
