A.N. - This one takes place right at the end of book two. It also made me realize how few Hufflepuffs there truly are named in the books. Also, five days and still ff.n can't get its act together and fix the story stats. I'd really like to know how many folks are clicking on this story, but I do appreciate the few follows/favorites.
5. Justin Finch-Fletchley
He should've gone to Eton.
Justin had just awoken, the taste of mandrake restorative coating his throat, and his parents weren't there. 'Of course,' he wryly thinks. Why would the backwards magicals want to alert others to their failings? Certainly, they'd not go out of their way for some muggles, even rich ones. Justin wanted his mother something fierce, but focusing on the injustice shunted the ache away.
He really wasn't looking forward to making up months' worth of schoolwork. That is, if Hogwarts had even collected it for him. Like waiting for his parents, he wouldn't hold his breath.
