A.N. - Story stats are finally back. Not a ton of clicks on this, but I'll keep chugging along. Please send any ideas for a character you'd like to see. Tomorrow is Severus Snape, for his birthday. Today is someone totally different.

8. Gabrielle Delacour

Veela, even part-Veela, did poorly with water. As a being capable of wielding fire and taking flight, being submerged underwater was anathema to Gabrielle. If she were conscious, she'd be fighting tooth and nail to unbind herself and make for the surface. But, as it was, she knew none of this until she came to on shore.

Then it was a battle between starstruck adoration (Harry Potter was very enticing dripping wet, water be damned) and shaking off the sense of wrongwrongWRONG! that plagued her mind as she sputtered and shivered in the clutches of February air and phantom memory.
