A.N. - Here's probably the first of the "big" names in the series. So many ways he can be portrayed, but as always I like to examine the lesser-trod path. Happy birthday, Severus Snape.
9. Severus Snape
Severus serves the Dark Lord, at least to all outward appearances. He sneers down at non-Slytherins, dresses in black, looks wan, and generally has the disposition of a leashed beast waiting for its moment to lash out and be free. And none of this is, technically, incorrect.
Snape is a Prince by blood, raised in a Muggle town, but aspires to be a Lord - just not the type magicals fear. But if a muggleborn or two a year startles at the swish of his cloak behind him and recognizes the inspiration for it, well, may the force be with them.
A.N. - Yes, slight crossovers are fair game here. You cannot tell me a despondent 17-year-old growing up in Cokeworth wouldn't gravitate toward escapism like Star Wars and see himself in Vader.
