A.N. — It feels to me as if Colin gets most of the attention from the Creevey brothers; being petrified by a basilisk and later killed at the Battle of Hogwarts will do that for you. Here, I hope to show that Dennis, too, belongs with the brave.
22. Dennis Creevey
Being the kid of Dumbledore's Army wasn't easy. But it was an honor.
Dennis might be young, but he channeled that youthful enthusiasm into bettering himself and fighting for a just cause. He snuck after Colin that first night, not knowing what he was heading toward. It was a very Gryffindor move; Dennis was thankful he'd followed through.
His spell-casting lacked the power of the older members, but his effort outstripped those years his senior. He paid rapt attention, and not just because the Harry Potter was the one teaching them. He would do his house and his name proud.
