A.N. — I thought about doing Petunia Dursley here, but I think I will save her for the end of the month. It feels like it's been a while since I've done a "name," i.e. some character on the upper end of the scale in terms of recognizability. You all will have to wait for the 26th for the next one of those. As for now, have the collection's first non-magical (Muggle is such a derisive term).

23. Marjorie Dursley

Marge Dursley took the word bitch and owned it.

Her life was a story of excesses — indulging in food, lavishing her sweet nephew Dudley with extravagant presents, and of course doting on her dozen bulldogs. Marge had an outsize voice to suit her outsize stature, and she used it as a megaphone to deride anyone for anything.

Her memory, like her size, was elephantine. She had no fond memories of Petunia's extended family, and Marge saw no issue in letting Lily's progeny know exactly how breeding — her business — was supposed to work. The brat taking issue proved his bad bloodlines.
