It was a slight coup, being the first centaur to meet prophicied child Harry Potter — not that he let it show. Those who ventured into herd territory deserved his derision. Even if they were but foals, they should know their place. The half-giant Hagrid certainly did. That did not excuse the man from leading unprepared young into the forest.
Ronan was able to atone for his gruff introduction when it truly mattered.
Standing resolute, he led the centaur's charge against Voldemort's arrayed forces when Hogwarts was besieged. Like Firezne before, his hooves trotted hallowed halls. The stars, truly, had aligned.
