A.N. — There are so many diverse fan theories over exactly who she was and where she went. Truly, Sally-Anne's character tag has a quite varied composition. We don't even know her house, for sure. I chose to have her pull a Hermione.
25. Sally-Anne Perks
She had to escape. If junior Death Eaters could strut around the castle and not receive punishment for their deplorable actions, then the British magical world was not a place Sally-Anne wanted to stay.
Convincing her parents would be the hangup.
Sally-Anne started subtle, extolling the virtues of warmer climates. She escalated to highlighting the discrimination rife in magical Britain, and the lack thereof abroad. Her parents listened, but did not act. Sally-Anne was too young to use her wand outside of school, but if spelling them into compliance could save all their lives, well...it wasn't a choice at all.
