I enjoyed my break and the next one will either be the week of the fifth or the week of the twelfth, don't know yet, but please enjoy this next one-shot.

Izuku panted as he carried a badly injured Tsuyu away from the fight. Rounding a corner, Izuku pressed his body against the wall and peered around the corner to see Himiko and Tomura looking around, "Where are you two?" he heard Himiko say in a singsong voice and Izuku narrowed his eyes as he held the injured Tsuyu close to him.

"Let's go," Tomura said in a raspy voice, "They're not here and we need to get back," Himiko moaned as Izuku watched as they turned and walked away. Izuku sighed before he looked down and saw Tsuyu panted before he picked her up and carried her down the street under the cover of night.

Tsuyu moaned and croaked as she slowly opened her eyes and looked around to see she was in hers and Izuku's bed. Sitting up, she looked around and saw her fiancé entering the room, "Izu? What happened?"

"It was an ambush, they caught us off guard and I took you away before anything else could happen," Tsuyu frowned as Izuku sighed and shook his head, "Kacchan and Uraraka called not too long after bringing you home and told me that they caught Shigaraki and Toga in the center of town. After some physical altercation, the two surrendered and now they're awaiting trial,"

"Ribbit," Izuku hummed and arched a brow, "Why didn't you stay and fight them? We're heroes Izuku and-"

"I know heroes are meant to protect the city, but I'm not going to stand there and let my fiancée die like that," Tsuyu frowned and hung her head, "Tsuyu, I know we're heroes, but even heroes can be selfish once in a while. I didn't want to see you die, so I grabbed you and ran…like a co-" Tsuyu leaned up and lightly kissed him.

Tsuyu backed away and shook her head as she croaked, "Ribbit, thanks Izu," Izuku slightly smiled as he sat down next to her and patted the top of her head as she rested her head against his shoulder and small croaks escaped her mouth.

Looking down, Izuku saw that Tsuyu had fallen asleep, small croaks still escaping her mouth as he carefully set her down on the bed and laid down beside her before pulling the sheet over them and wrapped an arm around her before drifting off to sleep.
