29. Crabbe Sr

A.N. — The character tags are rather lacking around here. Many Death Eaters aren't there, but their kids are. So, this chapter is tagged Vincent Crabbe, but it's all about his dad. Next two chapters are already planned, but I'd like to see who you all would like to see to start February off.

29. Vincent (?) Crabbe Sr.

Crabbes and Goyles walked together. Their families were both pureblooded and Dark-inclined. They followed Voldemort, and after his first fall, both avoided Azkaban. When their leader was resurrected, both leapt back into his service with vigor.

But the senior Crabbe knew something was wrong when ordered to the Department of Mysteries. Goyle was not among the Death Eaters joining the group. That fact alone almost made Crabbe refuse; he wouldn't have his closest confidant there to guard his back.

Harry Potter, as it turned out, brought his best friend. Taunting her with death did little to fill Crabbe's emptiness, though.
