33. Terry Boot
It took a few D.A. meetings for Terry to decide Hermione should've been a Ravenclaw. He'd decided earlier he'd like Hermione to be his.
Granger had encyclopedic knowledge, and a new self-confidence lacking in previous years. Hermione was power and potential in a pretty package, all appealing greatly to Terry. It was too bad those weren't the only things he noted.
Harry might be their teacher, but Hermione held the Army together. And Hermione seemed to subconsciously depend on Ron Weasley. They couldn't yet see it, but Terry knew a coupling was coming. He was smart enough to stand aside.
