It was a toss-up, which job Griselda took more pride in. Testing students, year after year, allowed her to truly gauge the state of society. Sitting on the Wizengamot, though, let her have a hand in shaping it.
Griselda could stomach the occasional bad batch of exam results, knowing the general order would eventually be restored. Having to deal with an odious official like Delores Umbridge proved too tough to swallow. When Umbridge was made Hogwarts' High Inquisitor, Griselda resigned her vaunted seat on the Wizengamot.
