A.N. — So many quidditch players are named in canon, for the relatively minor part it plays in the overall proceedings. So, for those individuals, I hope to not spend all my time focusing on the sport and rather on the person. This, sadly, is not that drabble.
35. Harper
Slytherin had a reputation to live up to. Nowhere was this more evident than on the quidditch pitch. The Snakes played dirty, because they had to win. Putting down the opposition was de rigueur. The fact that it all made Weasley play horribly as Gryffindor's keeper was just a plan coming to fruition.
What wasn't to plan was having the backup seeker, Harper, take everything so far as to be so embroiled in belittling his opposing number that one taunt from Potter had him fumbling the catch. Malfoy might've bought his seeker spot, but at least he did his job.
