A.N. — It feels a bit wrong to be bagging on a man on his birthday, but this was the drabble idea that sprung to mind for him straight away. On rereading the books, the Weasleys in general come off as less and less favorable.
37. Arthur Weasley
Despite his fascination with everything muggle, Arthur Weasley was still subconsciously condescending to those of mundane background.
Foremost was Harry Potter. While not shy in inquiring about rubber ducks, Arthur was also unaware of the subject's awkwardness for Harry. Arthur wholeheartedly welcomed Harry into the Weasley family, but made no effort to educate the last Potter on all the magical knowledge those raised in the magical world knew.
Arthur was loving, but woefully misguided. Wizards had magic; muggles didn't. He saw his shed full of gadgets as novelties, and not the sign of technology passing magic by they actually were.
