A.N. — For Valentine's Day, this character seemed quite obvious a choice. And I promise, this is the last downer drabble for a little while, since I've done three straight not-so cheery chapters.
45. Romilda Vane
Unless your name was Ginevra Weasley, giggling fangirls weren't acknowledged by Harry Potter. So, Romilda Vane had to get creative.
She tried to ingratiate herself to Harry on the train and instead wound up insulting his friends. She thought to ensnare him through Quidditch; Romilda (and her friends) failed the tryouts spectacularly.
Burning with resentment at Harry's mooning over Ginny, Romilda instead sought help via the Weasley twins and their shop. Love potion was secreted in gillywater (declined) and chocolates (accepted!). Then Romilda heard Ron had eaten her potion-laced gift, and her faith in all Weasleys died a deserving death.
