A.N. — Been a while since I did a drabble for someone not in the site's character tags. He's worthy of a chocolate frog card for his potioneering; he's also worthy of derision for going down in history with such an ignoble moniker.

52. Gregory the Smarmy

Fred and George Weasley thought it a fitting lark, to set off their portable swamp in Gregory the Smarmy's corridor. Anyone who created an "Unctuous Unction" to dupe drinkers into feigned friendship deserved to have a fetid potion unleashed upon their namesake.

In truth, the Weasleys secretly admired any practitioner of prank potions. Gregory's claim to fame was despicable, but his accomplishments showed the possibilities potions provided. It was also fitting his corridor contained a secret passage, perfect for escape or shelter.

Flitwick thought leaving some swamp behind in the twins' remembrance fitting too, far more than venerating Gregory's legacy.
