Screams of agony filled the air as many pro heroes tried to fight the flames that engulfed an apartment building. A green blur ran past the heroes and towards the fire before it was tackled down to the ground and Izuku looked up, panting as tears filled his eyes, "It's not worth it, Deku!" he heard Ochako snap as he struggled to free himself from him hold without using his Quirk before everyone looked up to see the apartment building collapse in on itself and Izuku screamed as he heard his mother cry out in terror.
Izuku shot up and panted as cold sweat covered his body. Sighing, he tossed the covers aside before he stood up and walked out of his room.
Sitting in the common room, Izuku cupped a hand over his eyes and shook his head, "Midoriya?" he looked back to see his female classmates walking into the common room and Momo frowned as she stepped closer to him, "We're sorry…we didn't know your mother was in that fire, but at the time, we didn't want to lose any of our classmates,"
"It's fine, Yaoyorozu…I shouldn't have tried to do something as stupid as trying to run into a burning building,"
"Still…you could've told us," Kyoka shook her head as the six of them sat down, "We could've told one of the pros and they could've done something to help,"
"I know, Jirou…but…but like I said, I shouldn't have tried to run out like that,"
"Ribbit," Tsuyu croaked and the One for All bearer looked at her, "Midoriya, you shouldn't blame yourself like this. It isn't healthy,"
"Tsu's right, Deku," Ochako frowned and slowly shook her head, "You tried to help and as heroes…we're going to have to accept some losses,"
Izuku sighed and shook his head, "Listen Midoriya, we're sorry we stopped you, but running in headfirst like that isn't something you should be doing," Mina comforted him, rubbing his back, "It's been a week. You shouldn't wallow in misery…yeah, it's fine to mourn, but if you let it consume you then…it'll eventually kill you,"
"Right, so stop moping and try to cheer up…even a little," Tooru sighed as she leaned up against Izuku, "We miss our favorite, cheerful cinnamon roll," Izuku glanced at the floating clothes and arched a brow, "Just…try to cheer up, Midoriya,"
"Yeah…alright," Izuku sighed before he stood up, only to be pulled back down.
Looking up, he saw Momo, Kyoka and Tsuyu sitting on his left side while Ochako, Mina and Tooru sat on his right. Confused, he arched a brow and shook his head, "What's going on?"
"We're not letting you be alone tonight," Ochako stated and narrowed her eyes as the girls leaned up against him.
I got nothing. Enjoy.
