A.N. — After three notable characters in a row, it is time to dip a toe back into less-explored waters. So unexplored, in fact, that this woman does not show up in the site's character list. She does get mentioned in Book 5.
70. Araminta Meliflua Black
Araminta wasn't fussed, really, that her Muggle hunting bill hadn't passed. She was still going enjoy some sport anyway; she'd just have to do so covertly.
She wouldn't even sully her wand in the endeavour! The Muggles were too filthy, and Araminta needed plausible deniability. So, she stockpiled a collection of Muggle firearms to do the deed, and even learned to shoot. It would be delicious irony to slaughter them with their own implements.
The Ministry might not see the wisdom of her legislation now, but Araminta would make damn sure they'd see the benefits of a thinned Muggle herd.
