Chapter 12

Demon meets Demi-Goddess

Deeper into the forest a man with bandages wrapped around his face and arms stood with a large sword held to his back with a leather strap going across his chest and he had camo black and gray print pants with arm warmers. He stood in wait for his little pet to return with the Demon Brothers. "Where are they. It shouldn't take them this long to kill an old man." He growled out to himself.

Just then an ice mirror appeared right before him and out stepped the girl dressed as a hunter ninja.

"Report Haku." Ordered the bandage face man.

Bowed before him she removes her mask looking up at her master. "Zabuza-sama we have trouble." She told him as the now name Zabuza raised a hairless eyebrow.

"Spit it out." Ordered Zabuza

"The bridge build has three Genin Teams with him. But there is one team that I worry about for they have a two headed wolf thing and the girl that appears to be the leader of the group is able to make solid clones. As well it appears that Ibiki and Anko are with them." Said Haku as she was felling nervous. They had just got a new bingo book about 3 months back and it had all the adults in the book that where with the Genin.

"Ibiki and Anko?" Question Zabuza as he seem to be lost in thought. "It has been 8 years since I have faced off against either of them, but I was sure I left both of them for dead." He mused to himself.

"What of the other sensei?" He asked.

"They are Kakashi Hatake and Kurenai Yuhi." Said Haku. "I believe that Anko and Ibiki have a shared team for how they called them both sensei and as well there is a mystery woman with them dressed in a pink bikini and pink lace. She keeps talking to the blonde girl that worries me." She told him.

"It doesn't matter. It could be a another just tagging along to this land. Our mission is to kill the bridge builder and send that money to the rebel forces." Said Zabuza as he was growing annoyed now.

"I don't believe you will be finishing your job." Came a growled voice from the shadows.

"She is right." Came another one.

Haku slipped her mask back on as Zabuza looked to his right as Haku was looking to her left.

"It will be much easier of you just gave up and came with use without trouble." Came a voice from below them as they stood on a branch.

"Haha. Whose there?" Said Zabuza as he was finding his attackers funny.

"I wouldn't laugh." Came the last voice from behind them.

Just then all four hellhounds stepped out of the shadows all of them with their many heads glaring at the two.

"What the fuck are those things?" Asked Zabuza as he looked over at the frighten Haku.

She looks over at him. "The weird wolf thing I was telling about but three of them have three heads." She told him as she didn't know what to do.

"We are the future guardians of Hell. We are here to take you back to our sister." Said Hutty as she didn't fell like playing with the two humans before her.

"We hell hounds are very deadly even at our young age and we never fail a mission. Don't think about using that big toy of yours. For we can bit though it." Said Skull as he had a kunai in his mouth that he had been using as a toothpick and smashed with one powerful bite.

"This isn't good Zabuza-sama." Said Haku as she was growing nervous as one of the other hounds had fire coming from its mouth and paws. Another had what looked to be acid as drill as for the one with the kunai appeared to have like ice flames coming from its mouth and paws. That frighten her and made her wonder if she could do more with her ice bloodline.

"They are just puppies. What can they do?" Question Zabuza not really carrying. Just one swing of his sword and they would all be gone.

"I wouldn't try anything on them. For if anyone of them are hurt their mother or father would come up here and trust me. You do not want two angry hell hounds the size of Biju's hunting you down." Came of soft female voice from above them.

"Momma is as strong as the 9-tails." Said Blaze as her ice flames licked around her body.

"That's because when I fought her, I was only at half. Now that I am whole. I'll like to see he try taking me down." Growled out a dark and evil voice next to the voice above them.

Zabuza and Haku both looked up to see a blonde hair girl with a black battle kimono and what looked to be a 9-tail fox the size of a horse next to her.

Naxena had replaced herself without anyone noticing with a shadow clone to see what her siblings had found. During that time she allowed Kurama out to run for a while.

"Naxena-nee-chan. Kurama-sama." Said Hutty, Skull, Blaze and Lyonia.

Zabuza just looked at the girl above him. "What does a little girl think she can do against me? The Demon of the Mist?" He asked as he was ready to laugh again.

"The child is stronger then my brother the 3-tails that is house in your former leader." Growled out Kurama as he knew he hit a sour spot for the man below them. During his time with the God's Kurama had watched over his siblings and see who they would be sealed within. He knew something was wrong with his brother the three-tail turtle for both his brother and the holder had been acting weird and it took a while to figure it. They had been placed under the control of Madara Uchiha.

Zabuza narrowed his eyes at the two above him. "What the hell do you know about what is going on in the Mist?" He growled out at them.

Kurama just smirked. "I know your village leader has been a puppet to one Madara Uchiha for awhile now and that he is now dead, and my brother is off someone reforming himself." Said Kurama with amusement lacing his voice.

Without warning Zabuza launched himself at Naxena and Kurama. Kurama grinning spun around using his nine mighty tails he hit the missing nin in the chest sending him sailing across the forest to a clearing that Naxena and her team where just walking into.

Before them they saw a large man sail right across them and crash into a large oak tree as he body slid down it. Naxena and Kurama appear before the others as her shadow clone goes up in smoke as the other four hellhounds fallow behind with their prisoner bound in chains that only a God could break.

"Naxena what is the meaning of this?" Question Ibiki as he was annoyed that he didn't notice the girl replace herself.

"Ibiki-sensei. I was checking on something that Lyonia and the others had found when I came across Zabuza and his little help Haku. The one that got away from my clone. Zabuza attacked Kurama when he baited the large man." Said Naxena as the others looked at her shocked as the sensei's that hadn't seen the fox out of his seal freaked out as the fox appeared much larger stood on Zabuza.

"Do you think that a human like yourself can take on the strongest of the Tailed Biju's?" Question Kurama as he put pressure onto Zabuza body as it went up in water.

"I don't know. But lets find out." Said Zabuza as he appeared behind Kurama with his sword drawn.

But before his attack could connect with the 9-tail fox. Naxena had rushing into the battle with her own sword drawn. She wasn't going to allow this large man to hurt her friend. "I don't think so no-brows. If you want a sword fight, then you will have that will me." She growled out as he lovely blue eyes took on a crimson golden look before turned a deep blue.

Aphrodite grins as she saw the girls eyes change. "Soon very soon." She said to herself as the others looked at her a little puzzled as they heard the swords clash once more. Sparks could be seen flying from the two swords as Naxena pulled out a seconds sword making an X to push Zabuza off of her.

"What do you mean soon?" Asked Shikamaru as he was looking at the Goddess of love. He knew that Naxena was strong and no one could beat her in a sword fight. So he wanted an answer to what he had just heard.

The Goddess of Love looks over at the young man. "Her bloodline is awakening and by her protecting Kurama she is showing that she belongs with us. Soon very soon she shall be a Goddess." She told him as her eyes never left Naxena.

The others looked on in shocked all but for team 10. They had heard Xena and Ares talk about it several times and new something special about Naxena.

'That girl doesn't need the powers of the Gods. I need that power to kill him.' Raged Sasuke in his head.

Aphrodite looked over at the raven hair Uchiha. 'The darkness in his heart is too great. I must keep him away from Naxena.'

Naxena stood before Zabuza with both swords at her side. But she was ready for anything he was going to throw her way.

"Don't you think we should step in and save her?" Question Kakashi as he was getting scared for the girl was facing off against an A-rank missing-nin.

Anko smirked as Ibiki looked relaxed at the masked face man. "Don't worry about the girl. She has this handled." Said Ibiki.

"You can't be serious!" Exclaimed Kurenai as she was ready to join the fight.

"This is my battle and mine alone. I will lose my honor if you enter my fight." Said Naruto as she looked over at Kurenai as the Genjutsu Mistress took a step back as she could see the power the girl held in her eyes.

Zabuza took this as his chance to strike the girl down. He rushed her with his sword in a forward swing. As he swung his sword at her she vanished in golden light as thunder could be heard and she appeared behind him with both her sword coming down for the kill. Thinking quickly Zabuza spun around with his massive sword blocking the two swords coming down on him. Naxena landed on Zabuza's sword and grinned down at the man.

"You are going to be fun to face." Said Naxena as she did a back flip off of Zabuza's massive sword and landed behind him once more. But this time she stabbed both swords and to the ground and used them to hold her as she did a mule kick on the man's back sending him flying into the lake across from the others.

Naxena calmly walked over to the lake. Kurama fallowed behind her. He knew something was off about this man and knew that if he wasn't there to help Naxena might get in over her head.

Just then a giant water dragon came shooting out of the water heading straight for Naxena. "Fire Storm!" Called Naxena as a hail of flames and stones came from the heavens. Crashing into the giant water beast.

"Not bad brat. That is something I've never seen." Said Zabuza as he came to the surface of the water.

"How did she do that without any hand signs?" Demanded Sasuke as he was fuming that she was able to use something that his clan had never heard of and it was much more powerful then anything he had even seen before.

"Fox ring of Fire!" Shouted Naxena as blue flames came shooting out of her mouth and surrounding Zabuza in the water. Even the water around him began to boil.

'This isn't a normal jutsu and I can't go into the water and I can't jump the flames without getting pretty hurt.' Thought Zabuza as Haku appeared right next to him.

"Demonic Ice Mirror!" Called Haku as a mirror appeared behind Zabuza for the man to step into. But he had to move fast for the mirror was melting quickly. Another mirror appeared right next to Haku.

"Good timing Haku." Said Zabuza as he looked down at the girl next to him.

"Zabuza you are out matched here. It would be pointless to keep fighting me. Why don't you just flip on your boss?" Said Naxena as if she was getting bored. The girl was looking down at her nails as she was talking to the man.

"Even with her not using any of my Chakra she is overpowering you Demon of the Mist." Said Kurama with a grin.

"Shut up you accursed beast." Growled out Zabuza as he was growing tired of this little game.

"I just need one fore good hit and your going do Zabuza." Said Naxena her eyes had hardened to steel as she looked at the man.

One could tell she wasn't being cocky. No what she was saying was true for Zabuza had several broken ribs from crashing into the tree and one was inside of his lung and it was making it harder for him to keep this fight going.

"Why should I give up? Why should I flip on the little bastard that has hired me?" Question Zabuza.

Kurama smirked. "For a better life. A longer life. For this keep going your going to die Demon of the Mist. Your right lung is taking in too much blood and I don't think the girl next to you is that still of a medic." Said the strongest of all the Biju's.

Haku looked up worried at her master. "Zabuza-sama..." She whispered.

"You don't have to answer us now. Take your time and come back in a week. That should give you time to heal and get a medic to look at you." Said Kurama as this shocked everyone but for Team 10 and their sensei's.

'What is your game here fox?' Thought Ibiki to himself.

With that said both Zabuza and Haku vanish as the others look at Naxena as she puts her swords away and walks back to everyone else.

"What the hell was that?" Demand Sakura as she was glaring at the demi-god before her.

"That is call recruiting the strong." Said Kurama as he wanted to just kill the pink banshee before him.

Let us get to the old man's house so I can rest up and we can make our plan of attack." Said Naxena as she was a little tried but nothing anywhere near sparing with her grandfather and uncle.

"Your heard her. Lets move on out." Called Ibiki as he was proud of the girl for facing the nuke-nin on her own. But also worried that she might face someone soon that is on a whole different level then Zabuza.
