Izuku sighed as he and Tsuyu looked through a box of photos of him and his parents, most of them consisting of him and his mother, "Not much of your father, huh Izu? Ribbit," Tsuyu looked over her shoulder and slightly frowned at the hardened expression crossing her boyfriend's face, "Izuku?"
"Asui," the two looked up to see Toshinori walking into the room, "Why don't you go sit with Midoriya's mother. I'd like to have a word with him," Tsuyu croaked and nodded before she turned and walked past the former Symbol of Peace, "How are you holding up, kid?"
"All Might…I…my dad didn't go overseas…he walked out when he learned I was Quirkless,"
"I know the feeling," Toshinori sat down next to Izuku and took a deep breath, "My father walked out on us too when my parents learned that I was Quirkless. Shortly after that, I met my mentor and inherited One for All, which I later passed onto you," reaching over, ha patted Izuku's back, "You're a good kid, Midoriya, and it's a shame your father isn't here to witness it," Izuku sighed and nodded.
