Chapter 15
Team 10 along with the two members of Team 8 with Haku and Zabuza looked at the map once more as they had gotten close to Gato's little hide out.
"This is where we are going to enter. Haku do you think you can make an ice mirror inside or outside the trolls office?" Asked Naxena as she looked up at the ice user.
"Yes. I can make on just outside his office door. But you need to be ready to fight as he has three guards at that door and that isn't accounting for his two personal fools inside the office. But since we have been working for him, he has added a few extra guards into his office as I think he is scare of Zabuza attacking him if things go south." Said Haku as she was slowly forming the ice mirror that will take them into the Mansion.
Naxena nodded her head as she looked at the others around her. "This is going to put you all to the test. For none of you have ever killed before and how my Uncle Hades had me train in the Underworld. I have a somewhat of a first kill. If you count killing already dead souls for trying to break free of the Underworld." She told them.
All the Genin along with Haku paled. They knew this day was going to come. But where they truly ready for this day? Was the thought going though their heads. They couldn't turn back now. For it was already to late and the mission had begun, and it was now or never for them all.
The sun shined into Gato's office as he took a drink from his coffee. He looked to his four personal guards that sat in his office just cleaning their weapons or drinking their own coffee/tea. "Have any of you heard from Zabuza or his brat?" He asked them.
"No sir." Said a rouge samurai with white hair. "We haven't seen him since he left to go and attack the bridge builder and his personal bodyguards." He told his boss.
Gato nodded his head. "If he doesn't return by this evening, we will have to hire someone else to kill the bridgebuilder and the shinobi he had hired. For they we're too strong for the demon of the bloody mist." Said as if it was just a joke.
The four men nodded their heads to their bosses orders. They had heard of a few nuke-nins for hire nearby and would be a lot cheaper then Zabuza.
An ice mirror slowly formed before Gato's office door. His eight goons just stood there watching the mirror appear. They knew that Zabuza would travel that way with his little pet. So they didn't make a move to attack when Zabuza walked out fallowed by the others.
"What is going on Zabuza and who are those people?" asked one of the goons as he was looking at the back of Ibiki's head as he turned away from the man.
"Don't worry about it. I am here to see Gato." Growled out Zabuza as Anko had several of her snakes bite all the men in the hallway. They all fell dead before they could scream.
The white hair samurai heard Zabuza's voice and open the door without thinking and was cut in half by Zabuza's massive blade as the others rushed in taking out the three other men.
Gato sat there in fear and shock. "You betray me?! HOW DEAR YOU! DO YOU NOT KNOW WHO I AM?!" Yelled Gato as he hoped his other goons would hear him yelling but Naxena had placed silencing seals on his office door. So no one would hear a thing that had happen in that office.
"Yeah. You're the bastard whose going to die here today. For Hades wants your soul. It is time to fear the reaper of death." Said Naxena as she appeared before the tiny man with black flames licking around her body. She held a massive scythe in her hands and looked down at the man before her.
"You can't kill me. You need me for I hold all the deeds and with me gone you will never know how to truly free this land." Said Gato with a smirk on his face.
Naxena grinned down at him. Her crystal blue eyes left him unsettled as how she was looking at him. "I have a Yamanka here with me and she will be able to walk your dead ass once I am though with you." She told him.
His face froze in horror as her scythe swung down and across his neck. It was a clean cut no blood and no mess as she had heat up the blade to stop his bleeding once she cut his head off. "Ino would you please get to work." Said Naxena as she jumped off the desk.
"I will stay here and watch over the Yamanka girl. You others go and clean out the mansion and free all who are prisoners here." Ordered Ibiki as he knew he would be better used for this part of the mission as he spent to much time behind a desk and not on the field. After this mission was over, he was going to up his own training as they still had all the bandit camps still to take out.
Unknown to the others Naxena had summoned all her summons even the one her grandfather and uncle made for her. With an army of shadow clones they had went to clean up the camps and free those from the ships as there was a special summons, she had that worked well with the sea and she was going to make use of it this one and only time. For she doesn't know when she will be around the sea again.
They all quickly moved out to clean out the place.
Tazuna's house
It was already about 9am and Sakura sat in the corner of the living room watching out of the corner of her eye to see if she could make a break for it up to where her Sasuke-kun was sleeping.
Just then Sasuke and Kakashi come walking down the stairs. Sasuke just frowning as he didn't see the others in the room with him and all his sensei told him was, they all were out training.
"Sasuke-kun your up." Said Sakura as she rushes over to him and whispers into his ear. 'They left and too all everyone but Choji to kill Gato.'
Sasuke's eyes widen as he turned to his sensei. "Why wasn't I allowed to go with them?" He demanded as he was getting ready to make a break for it.
But Kakashi placed his hand on the boy's shoulder. Narrowing his single eye at his two students that stood before him. "Because. This mission has nothing to do with either of you two." He told them.
"That is bullshit. I am an the Elite Uchiha and should have had that mission." Growled out Sasuke as he glared at his sensei before him.
"He is right. Even my mother said Sasuke-kun is more powerful then anyone else in our age group." Said Sakura just fanning the duck ass boy's ego even more.
Kakashi glared at the two Genin before him and without them knowing what happen Kakashi had slapped paralyzing seals on both of their foreheads. They both fell to the floor not knowing what the hell had happen to them and they couldn't even yell about it either. Kakashi squatted down before them and looked them both in the eyes as his soul gray eye had taken on a crimson haul to it.
"You two are at the bottom of the food chain when it comes shinobi. You do not tell me what to do nor do you have any say on what missions you take or what part of the mission you take part in." Said Kakashi as he was letting lose some KI on them.
He could see fear in both their eyes as they looked up at the man that could kill them right there and then.
"Look at you two. What would you do if one of those bandits had some shinobi training and had one of these seals?" Question Kakashi as he looked at them.
They looked away from him as they knew he was right. For they would be dead, and Sakura would have been raped and killed or sold off.
Kakashi lean down and removed the seals off the two before him. "A lot of bandits have some shinobi training as they had once been civilians that failed the shinobi academy and couldn't hack it in the life of a normal person who turned to crime as they are just scum. They don't give a damn about what clan you are from. For that is your clan or your clansmen that struck fear into them. Not you. For I am the son of the white fang and that didn't do shit for me on the battlefield. All they wanted to do was kill me to get back at late father for killing their friends or their family in war. So get off your Kami damn high horse Sasuke. For you haven't earned your place in the Shinobi world. Your clansmen did. They fear Itachi. They fear Shishu for he was almost as fast as the late 4th Hokage. But you are just a rookie a Genin who what made it to Rookie of the year in your graduating class. That mean shit out in the real world for they don't care what title you had in the Academy." Said Kakashi as he glared at the two of them.
"That also goes for you Sakura as you are the weakest of all the kunoichi that graduated in your class. I still don't know how you got the top ranking as it should have gone to Hinata Hyuuga as the girl is more skilled then you are. Even Ino has more skills then you do. And don't give me that damn line that they came from clans. There are other kids that held that title in years pass that came from civilian families. But they did one thing that you do not want to do. They trained and worked their asses off for the title. To be honest I believe your mother bought that title for you to catch the eye of the Uchiha as he would see you as he equal and want to be with you. But look at what it has gotten you so far? Nothing whatsoever, He doesn't want nothing to do with you and would allow you to die out on the battlefield if it was left up to him." Said Kakashi as this was a cold truth that was making the pinkette cry.
Kiba just sat next to the wall not saying a word for this was a cold truth his two teammates needed to hear and there was nothing to sugar coat it for it will get them killed or even worse it would get him killed out in battle. With the Chunin exams that are coming up. He wasn't sure his team was ready for it and he was going to voice this to his sensei as he didn't want put himself in danger with these two fools until they learn what it mean to be a team and Sakura takes her training for real and Sasuke take that pole out of his ass.
Gato's Mansion
Kurama appears in the office as the others comes walking in with several scrolls in their hands.
"Kit we have taken out all the bandit camps and that thing took all the ships out after we freed all the prisoners and taken all the cash and anything of value and destroyed all the drugs we found." Said Kurama as he looked at all the ningen as he grinned at them.
Zabuza looked to have almost had a heart attack seeing the nine-tail Biju standing before him.
Naxena looked over at him. "Thank you Kurama. You all did well and I'm glad." She told the Biju.
"Who in the hell is that thing a live?" Asked Zabuza as he heard the stories of the 4th Hokage killing the mighty Biju.
Kurama grinned looking at him. "I can't be killed. Well none of us can be killed all you can do with a Biju is seal us away."
Zabuza just nodded his head to this as he looked at the girl that stood with the other blonde that was working on the computer. 'She is truly something else.' He thought to himself as he went back to the others.
"I'm glad to hear that. For it saves us a lot of trouble and I have seen several of the summons making quick work of those outside of the mansion." Said Ibiki as he looks at Kurama.
"The Kit really didn't want to make the other kill. Or if they had to kill, she didn't want them killing too many for she didn't know how it would affect their mind and souls. So she summoned us all and had us go to work and play for a few of us." Kurama told the scar man with a grin on his face.
Ibiki just nodded his head as he looked over at his student who must have used a lot of chakra just to save her team from the horrors of going on a mass killing spree to free this island from this man.
Kurama frowns as he looks over to Naxena. "Someone catch her." He said as he moved to catch the girl as she fell face forward. But luck had it Shikamaru had walked over to help Ino with a few of the accounts and had caught the girl as Kurama's tails wrapped around her.
"What happen to her?" Asked Shikamaru as he was worried about her.
"she over did it summoning us and all her clones. A few popped at once sending a massive overload to the girl and it knocked her out. She will be fine soon. Just lay her on my back and I'll carry her back to the house with the others." Said Kurama as everyone nodded their heads.
Several hours later
It was later afternoon when the group return to Tazuna's house. As the old bridge builder had forgo not going to the bridge as he wanted to make sure all the kids had made it back safe from their mission as well the duck and bubble gum had pissed him off with their behavior and he didn't want to deal with them at his worksite.
Naxena had woke up and just curled up into Kurama's fur as the others finished working. They wouldn't let her do anything else for she was pretty much a one-woman army that took out all the other camps and ships on her own as well helping her team with taking out Gato.
This was the sight they seen by those outside of Tazuna's house. A girl riding on the back of the nine-tail Biju and the others just walking along side them just talking and carrying scrolls with them. Hinata, Ino, and Haku also rode on Kurama who was much larger to carry all the girls as they all sat around Naxena to make sure the girl wouldn't fall off of his back.
"Kakashi-sensei!" Yelled Kiba as the man was inside the house talking to Tazuna as Sasuke and Sakura were both outside working on tree walking with Kiba.
Kakashi rushed outside with Kurenai as Choji fallowed behind his sensei as he finished with his training not too long ago and went inside to get something to drink.
Their mouths hung open as they saw nine-tails and the girls on its back. But its tails were wrapped around Naxena as to protect her from the world around her.
Sasuke and Sakura both fell from their trees at this sight as Kiba ran up to the group. "How did the mission go? Is Naxena hurt?" He asked worried about the girl that seemed to be shielded from the others.
"It went well, and she is just tired from over doing it with shadow clones." Said Hinata to the feral looking boy. Kiba just nodded his head. He was glad no one was hurt.
Just then a man appeared around black flames. "You have done well my niece." Said Hades as he walked up to Kurama as the mighty Biju stopped before the God of the Underworld.
Naxena slowly sat up and softly smiled at her Uncle. "I don't feel like I did a good job. I can still hear their screams when I killed them or set them on fire or when one of the summons took them down." She whispered to her Uncle.
Hades nodded his head. "I know my dear girl and I am truly sorry for placing this heavy burden on your shoulders. But I had no other I could trust to handle this for me. For you know we are not allowed to meddle with human affairs." He told her.
"I know Uncle. I do understand and as your champion I will carry out your will in any battle you ask of me." Said Naxena as she looked down at her hands as she could still see blood on them even though there was none there.
Hades pulled the girl off of Kurama's back and into his arms. "Shh... my dear angel I am sorry for this. You are stronger than most for they would have broken from what you had done today." He told her as Naxena began crying into his shoulder. She cried until she fell asleep in the God's arms.
Kurama looked at Hades and nodded his head as he used his tails to pick his kit back up and put her onto his back. He was going to held her until she was ready.
Just then there was two silver lights before them and there was Xena and Ares standing there. Xena's eyes soften when she saw her granddaughter. But Hades stopped her. "She will be fine. But she took it upon herself to handle the whole mission and killed everyone in all 15 bandit camps and at the docks and ships along side all her summons." Said Hades as Xena's eyes widen in horror.
The genin that didn't join in on the mission looked on with shock that the girl handle everything on her own.
"How in the hell is does she have all this power when I have nothing?" Demand Sasuke.
Hades turned his cold black eyes on to the fool Uchiha. "It is because she has a pure soul and knows her place in life and works hard to protect all those she loves. While you are cold hearted child that only cares for himself and no one else. With that mindset you will always remain powerless and weak." He growled at the boy as he wanted to take the boys soul and put his in that special place in hell that he held all the other Uchiha's he didn't like.
Sasuke looked at the God of the Underworld with shock. 'Was that her secret to her power?' He wondered to himself as he turned and walked away from the others to work on his tree walking.
Kurama walked to a few trees next to the house and laid down pulling his kit to him wrapping his tails around her as Xena walked over and laid down with her granddaughter as Ares watched on with hard eyes. He looked over at Ibiki.
"I did not know of her plans. We had just planned to take Gato out first and then attack the others. But she went behind all our backs and lead the attack on the others before we knew what happen." Said Ibiki.
Ares nodded his head. As he knew this play. It was one of his battle plans he used so long ago on bandit camps.
"Fine let us go inside and see what she has found and then make the plans for your trip to Uzu." Said Ares as he knew Naxena was in good hands/paws with his wife and Kurama.
