Chapter 18

The Village of the Eddies

Poseidon walked down the wooden ramp that is slide out of his ship and looked at his niece and Grandniece walking up to him as his blue eyes narrowed on Ares who was grumbling about something to a tall man that was dressed in black leather pants with black boots and a open black leather vest with a massive sword strapped to his back with also a mask on his lower half of his face as a girl stood next to him in a short black kimono with snowflakes all over it with an ice blue obi holding it closed. Attacked to her obi was an amazon mask that once belongs to Xena, but she gifted to the girl. As proved herself to be part of the long-lost female warrior tribe from ancient times.

"Xena. Naxena. It is a pleasure to see you both once more. Thank you for the homemade sweet wine you both had sent me." Said Poseidon as he smiled at the two before him.

Naxena grinned up at him. "Your welcome Uncle. I am glad you enjoyed the blackberry wine." She told him as she walked up to him for a hug. As he was glad to hug her as he did miss seeing her around Olympus at times when he does come to visit.

"Thank you once again for guiding us safely to The Land of Whirlpool." Said Xena as she smiles at Poseidon.

"Oh my dear. I would part the sea for Naxena." Said Poseidon.

Naxena giggled at her Uncles antics. As he was being silly waving his arms widely as the sea parted before everyone as the others mouths hung open with shock seeing the power of the God of the Seas.

Ares walked over to his uncle as the others watched on. "Uncle. It is nice to see you once more." He said with his normal smirk on his face.

"Yes, yes Ares. It is nice to see you as well." Said Poseidon as he just rolled his eyes seeing the God of War.

"That is enough you two." Said Xena looking at the two God's that stood before her. "We need to get moving and we don't have time to screw around here.

Both men looked at her with sheepish smiles on their faces. For both still like to have little fights over little silly little things. Something that did annoying Xena to no end. For if it got out of hand. She would have to step in and handle it for her husband. For they don't need a war between Gods once again.

Naxena turned to the others. "Come. Lets board the ship and don't mind my Uncles crew. They don't look human anymore." She told the others as they looks a little weirded out by this. (think of the crew from the Black Pearl.)

Ibiki studied the strange fish like men working hard on the ship. Anko winked at one that appeared to be an eel. The eel man just winked back at her as he went back to fixing the sails.

"Anko really?" Question Kurenai as she rolls her eyes at her best friend for her horrible flirting habits.

"ALRIGHT MEN! GET THIS SHIP READY TO SAIL FOR THE EDDIES!" Yelled out Poseidon as he grinned down looking at Naxena as he placed his captain hat on her head. She grinned back up at him.

"Thank you." Naxena told him as she hugged the God that stood next to her.

"Your welcome my dear." Said Poseidon as he smiles. He was just happy being around the family little ray of light.

Road to Konoha

Kakashi watched his Genin as they walked back to Konoha. Kiba plays with his ninkin partner as Sakura bugged Sasuke for a date.

'I will need to speak to Lord Hokage about what Kiba have talked about. Also look at these two. Sasuke not caring about his teammates. Sakura just wanting to kiss Sasuke's ass.' Kakashi thought to himself.

"Hey Kakashi-sensei?" Said Kiba as this pulled the Silver hair Jonin out of his thoughts.

"Yes Kiba-kun?" Asked Kakashi as he was being a pain in the ass.

Kiba pouts. "Sensei stop that. But I was just wondering if you could help me with some of this new training after we are finished with team training. For my mom and Hana have been really busy lately with missions and Hana with the vet clinic." He said as he looked at his sensei hopeful as this would help him a lot.

"Why would he waste his time with a loser like you?" Asked Sasuke as he glares at the feral boy that is on his team.

"Yeah. You should just give up on being a shinobi and just work in your family Vet Clinic." Said Sakura being a snarky bitch.

Kakashi blinked as he heard how this two students was treating their other teammate and the boy is a clan heir as well. Holding more power than even Sasuke himself.

"Yes Kiba-kun. I will help you with your training at your clan compound." Said Kakashi as he eye smiles at the feral looking boy as the puppy barks running around Kiba's legs.

"Hn." Said Sasuke as he was now pissed off. 'That mutt is cutting into my time I spent training with that useless man.' He growled to himself.

Sakura frowned at this. She didn't like the idea of Sasuke not being trained or being part of Kiba's training. "Why isn't Sasuke joining in this training as well?" She demanded. Not even caring about questioning him.

Kakashi looked over at the pinkette. "Because. The training that Kiba is asking me for. It belongs to his clan and doesn't have anything to do with Sasuke for he isn't an Inuzuka." He told the pinkette.

"It doesn't matter. Those scrolls where stolen. So it doesn't matter who learns form it." Said Sakura thinking she knew better than her Jonin-sensei.

"Sakura that scroll still has the Inuzuka clan symbol and now that it is return to the clan and by the clan heir. It is his family and clan and only they are the ones to learn from it." Said Kakashi looking down at the foolish girl.

She looked away and crossed her arms over her flat chest and looked away from her sensei. Putting her pointy nose up into the air. "Whatever." She mumbled to herself.

'This team is truly falling apart. There is nothing I can do to save it. For even this mission has done nothing to build any bonds with them. It has only proved to push them apart even more. I might have to seek a new team for Kiba or new sensei for Sasuke and Sakura. For I don't know if I can handle the two of them after this mission.' Thought Kakashi as he bury his nose in his book.

'I'm going to have to go to my mom. For I don't want to be on this team anymore.' Thought Kiba to himself as he just let out a sigh. For his safety and Akamaru's safety. They would get him killed on a mission or during the Chunin Exams.

Konoha

The Third Hokage looked over the scrolls that had been sent to his village about who will be taking part in the upcoming Chunin Exams. His eyes widen as he saw there was a scroll from IWA.

"Don't it." Said Sarutobi as he wasn't looking forward to this. 'Did they learn about Naxena?' He wondered to himself.
