Izuku sat on the chair next to the bed his wife laid in with her back towards him. Feeling someone tap him on the shoulder, the One for All bearer looked up and saw a doctor standing above him, "Sir, could you follow me please?"
Izuku looked back at his wife and Tsuyu croaked, "See what he wants, Izu," Izuku sighed before he stood up and followed the doctor out of the room.
Tsuyu looked over her shoulder and saw Izuku talking to the doctor before she saw his face fall before he turned and walked back into the room. Sitting back down in the chair, Tsuyu croaked, "What's wrong? Ribbit,"
"They…they said that the umbilical cord wrapped around the baby's neck," Tsuyu's eyes widened as Izuku let out a shaky breath and shook his head, "I'm sorry, Tsuyu…they couldn't do anything," Tsuyu closed her eyes and shook as she fought the tears that threatened to fall, "I…I wish I had the words, Tsu…but…I'm sorry,"
"Izuku…can…can you just stay here with me tonight?" Izuku nodded as he held Tsuyu's hand and ran his thumb across the back of it.
