A.N. — I wanted to do something to do with Shell Cottage here, as it matches up right now with the canon timeline. But all the principal players there at that time have days chosen already due to canon birthdays or were written already. So, this drabble is unfortunately unrelated to any of those goings-on. But it is related to the last drabble via pox.

105. The Fat Friar

Being executed for curing the destitute of pox was not a very godly thing to do. But the Friar was a forgiving sort; even death could not put the man down. And, if he was to be denied his place in heaven, he could think of no better place to spend his afterlife than at Hogwarts.

The fracturing of the Founders left the inhabitants of the castle unsettled; the Friar wanted to help mend that rift. The deciding factor: he'd never been threatened with death at Hogwarts. Well, aside from some of Helga's plants, but that, too, could be forgiven.
