A.N. — It's Cinco de Mayo today, but (surprise, surprise...) there's no Mexican representation in a British book series. I can, however, highlight a minority (well, a different nationality than British, anyway...) with this drabble.

125. Aidan Lynch

Lynch knew he wasn't as good a Seeker as Krum. Hell, nobody on the planet was as talented as the Bulgarian wunderkid. That didn't mean his opposing number had to rub his face in that fact.

As he dug himself off the pitch after falling for Krum's feint, Lynch swore to himself he'd not repeat that mistake. But here he was, trying in vain to mount his broom again as Krum captured the Snitch. He must be delirious, Lynch thought, being held aloft by two teammates in what appeared to be a victory celebration. He'd failed, but somehow, Ireland won.
